《THE WHITE ROSE PAINTED WITH BLOOD》xxxviii - because your eyes are filled with the epitome of beauty

there are pastel pink roses blooming on your dimples and i count stars in the craters bordering your lips and stars dancing over your nose and beneath your green gray gold eyes
your eyes are the same shade as a spring breeze rippling o'er rosewater forest ponds watercolors of green, honey and gray bursting at the tip of the brush and staining the whites of your eyes with breathless cubes of vertigo
there are tanned gold beaches in your cheeks, your face of caramel tangerine skin rusting in the desert sun and tropical heat
your hair is swirled of peach pits, dried figs, and chocolate milk
and the rain fell
and slipped into
the cracks of the
sidewalk where
they stay until
they fade away
like a memory
that will never
be remembered
your hair hang over your forehead like suspended waterfalls and they look like brown silk with the texture of liquid. but its your eyes your eyes your eyes your eyes. in them there is a meadow of gold surrounding a lush green forest under a gray gray sky and i want to run into them and get lost forever in the crowds and crowds of infinite trees.
and the rain fell
like torn kites
falling and falling
and falling and
falling until they
kiss the earth
where they fall
through the dirt
and bury them-
selves in their
own grave
but somehow you seem to brighten all the colors around me as if you are pouring honey from your lips and eyes and then we met eyes and i stopped breathing
but oh, it must have been a hallucination. it must have been
because your eyes are filled with the things you see and your eyes are filled with the epitome of beauty
it must have been a hallucination because i am not beautiful

They didn't move for a thousand years... "Admiral Grant," the King suddenly shouted. The soldier's head snapped up in surprise. "Yes, Your Majesty?" "Wake the Giant." The rust peeled off like dead skin, falling into the ocean and revealing the shining metal body beneath. The ground shook as the gears began to turn, their grinding heard for miles. Story based in the same universe as my other story, Gamer's Guide to Waking up as a Dinosaur.

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
