you spit razor sharp teeth

i pull my hood over my head and

out the car window for hope i seek

i stare out the window, fear pulsing in my heart at the acid in your voice. but i did not look into your eyes, for i feared more what i would see.

cold fingers grazed my cheek and sharp nails dug into my skin, drawing blood. a yelp escapes my throat and i hold it in my mouth, not daring to let it out.

what happened next was a blur.

your eyes. your eyes are the last thing i saw before the catastrophe. the hatred in them, the darkness, the bloodshed, the cruel intentions. i watched your life flash in front of your eyes and i wondered of the the monstrosities that shaped you into a monster.

i wondered... did you regret it? what you did to me?

your eyes, scorching blue. lethal methane. you were like cyanide, burning away my skin before the flash of lights crashed into my vision. before the windows shattered and blood exploded from my body, and yours. before your shriek cursed my ears and dulled because my heart was beating so louder than the silence that was about to come.
