"being adorable. it's making me want to kiss you."
your eyes widened at suna's statement. you were waiting for him to laugh, to tell you he was kidding, but he didn't. he never shifted his gaze away from you. "w-what?"
"i said what i said." he gently cups your cheeks, bringing his face closer to yours. "can i?"
you didn't know how to react. you never expected suna to act like this so it really surprised you. "wait rintaro-"
he didn't stop leaning in. he got closer and closer to you. you felt his breathing, the tips of your fingers getting cold from the anxiousness you felt. you shut your eyes, not knowing what was gonna happen next until he suddenly stopped. you had your eyes closed, waiting for something to happen. but nothing did.
"kidding." he whispered, pulling back away from you.
you let out a deep breath you didn't know you were holding the entire time. you opened your eyes, glaring at the black haired boy who was now snickering. "very funny."
"you should've seen your face." he chuckles. "wish i took a picture."
"why would you do that?!" you hit his shoulders, puffing your cheeks in anger.
"i don't know what's gotten to me honestly." he mumbled which you failed to hear. "you met atsumu earlier, didn't you?" he asked.
"w-what?"
"your band-aid." he pointed at your neck. "it ripped off."
you pat your neck to see if it was true, and it sure was. the band-aid was sticking only halfway so suna could see what was underneath. "shit."
"didn't know he was that jealous of me." he smirks.
"he's just being a dick that's all." you placed the band-aid back again, covering up the mark atsumu gave you earlier. "wait, jealous?"
"don't tell me you're that dense?" suna raised an eyebrow. "surely you could've figured it out by now [Y/N]."
"figured out what, exactly?"
suna looks away from you, sighing as he puts his hands at the pocket of his pants. "figure it out. should be really obvious by now."
"rintaro help me out here." you furrowed your brows, not knowing what he was talking about.
"no."
"please?"
"no."
"please!"
"no. anyway, i gotta go back to my booth now. want me to drop you off to the cafe?" he stand up, offering you a hand. you shook your head, declining his offer. "it's fine. i can go there myself."
"sure. see ya." suna says, walking away. as he turned his back away from you, he finally let out the frustration he was hiding the entire time. damn it rintaro, get yourself together. he thought.

he turned the corner, his mind still filled with the thoughts of you when suddenly somebody called him. "oi."
suna looked up and saw atsumu leaning against the wall with his arms crossed on his chest. he noticed the outfit atsumu was wearing and immediately grabbed his phone to take a photo. "really? a vampire?"
"delete that right now!" an irk mark appeared on atsumu's forehead as he tried to grab the phone away from suna but failed.
"no." suna quickly hid his phone back in his pocket. "so, what do you want?"
atsumu finally calmed down and looked at the boy in front of him with a very serious expression painted on his face. suna didn't fail to notice this and already had an idea on what he was going to talk about.
"are ya in love with [Y/N]?"
the black haired teen wasn't even surprised when atsumu asked this. he saw it coming, he knew he fueled atsumu's never ending jealousy.
suna raised his brows, saying, "is there a problem with that?"
atsumu grits his teeth in annoyance. "she's my girlfriend of course there's a problem with that."
"but isn't it just fake?"
the blonde blinks, letting his arms fall back to his sides. "whaddya say?"
"it's all fake, isn't? [Y/N] told me herself." suna smirks, seeing atsumu's face darken. "you just see her as one of your flings don't you? surely you won't mind me winning her over."
"...she told you?" atsumu lowered his head, his hand balling into fists.
"she did. but you're just toying with her aren't you? like all the girls you've played with?"
"that's not-"
"you're probably just gonna hook up with her then leave once you're satisfied right?" suna scoffs.
"shut the hell up." atsumu could feel his blood boiling bit by bit. he knew to himself that what suna was saying wasn't true, that you were unlike any other girl he's been with and that he wasn't going to treat you like that. but he still couldn't shake the thought that suna was probably right, that he would fuck everything up somehow and you'd leave him.
"you're only fake dating her because you're using her aren't you? heck, you don't even know if she sees you as a friend. aren't you basically just forcing her?" suna wanted to stop before he could push anymore buttons, but he couldn't. for some reason he wanted to let all his thoughts out right here and then, hoping atsumu would stop his pathetic deal.
"she probably hates y-"
"i said shut up!" in an instant, atsumu charged at suna with his fist and it landed on the taller boy's cheek. the impact of the punch made suna fall back, landing on the ground.

"what the fuck?!" suna cursed. atsumu grabbed his shirt, gripping it tightly as he pulled suna closer to him.
"don'tcha ever go near [Y/N] again."
"atsumu!" a voice shouted from behind the two boys. you stood there panting, a horrified look plastered on your face. "get off him!"
atsumu's grip soften at the sight of you. "[Y/N]."
"tch." suna pushed atsumu away from him, holding onto his bruised cheek.
you rushed towards suna, examining his face before saying, "i'll help you get to the clinic."
atsumu still had his head lowered, unable to meet you in the eyes. you glared at the boy, "maybe it's better if you don't go near me."
atsumu felt his heart tightening, he couldn't dare to say a word. your tone was as cold as ice and he has never seen you this angry before, not even when you were sick and annoyed at him.
you and suna walked away, leaving atsumu behind. he leaned his back against the wall, examining his red knuckles. "fuck."
"does it still hurt?"
"a bit."
suna placed the ice pack on his cheek which the nurse has given him earlier. thankfully you made an excuse that suna got hit with a pipe while preparing for his booth so the nurse didn't question anything. now, you were at the infirmary while he was sitting down on the bed.
"...did you hear the whole thing?" suna stares at the window as he asked you.
you looked down and fiddled with your thumbs. "...yeah." truthfully, you followed suna right when he walked away from you since you changed your mind about him dropping you off. when you saw atsumu, you decided to hide and listen to their conversation. "i didn't mean to eavesdrop, i'm sorry."
"aren't i supposed to be the one apologizing?" he took a quick glance at you before staring right back at the window. "i said stuff you weren't supposed to hear. it must've hurt."
"well, i was expecting all those stuff anyway." you let out a light-hearted laugh. "i was expecting atsumu to be an ass from day one. i found him annoying at first but as time went by, i thought maybe i was wrong. maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all, but he kept doing these things that just confuses me even more. like how he would act cold to me out of nowhere, ignore me for days, and even act like i don't exist at all."
your heart ached as you poured all your thoughts to suna who was still listening. "sometimes i catch myself thinking about him non-stop, and even feel things i shouldn't be feeling. sometimes, it even feels real."
"what does?"
"us dating."
suna's eyes widen. he puts the ice bag down, shifting his gaze towards you. "do you... like atsumu?"
you finally look up, meeting suna's green orbs. "i'm afraid i do rintaro."
atsumu walked back to his booth since he had nowhere else to go. he couldn't focus on anything, he was scared. he was actually scared that you might genuinely hate him from now on, and that you'd avoid him permanently.
osamu spots his twin sulking in a corner, his attire not matching with his mood. "what are you doin'?" he asked.
atsumu didn't even look up, not bothered to face who was talking to him. "why was i even born."
"what?" osamu furrows his brows, confused by his twin's antics. "get up you look like a hobo in the corner of the room."
"leave me alone 'samu."
"i'm not leavin' 'til you tell me what happened." osamu places his hand on his hips, waiting for his brother to confess to him.
atsumu sighs, finally giving in to him. "i.. imayormaynothavepunchedsuna."
osamu gave him a blank stare. "are you serious?"
atsumu thought, how did he even caught up on that? he tilts his head up to face osamu who now has an annoyed expression on his face. atsumu flinched at the sight, already regretting telling his brother.
"it's a long story-"
"then make it shorter."
"but-"
"and quick. or yer not getting onigiri tonight."
"fine! jesus." the blonde sighed, preparing the words to say to osamu. he explained what happened back in the hallway with suna and how you came in out of nowhere.
osamu wanted to slap his twin for being so dense about his own feelings. atsumu, who has never been serious about a girl before, finally caught feelings for someone. it was so obvious that it pained him so much about how stupid atsumu was.
"idiot." osamu says.
"that's all you gotta say?!"
"well, what is there to say? yer an idiot who doesn't even realize his own feelings." the gray haired teen clicked his tongue in annoyance. "make up with suna. we have a game soon."
"i know." atsumu huffed, already hating the idea of apologizing.
"and talk to [Y/N]. she deserves an explanation doesn't she?"
"an explanation 'bout what?"
"listen here ya dumbass." osamu sits down next to atsumu. "you avoided her for days so you could get yer fangirls to stop buggin' her didn'tcha?"
"how did y-"
"you made a deal with her uncle in order to give you his blessin'."
"well i couldn't say no-"
"you get all jealous whenever suna's involved."
"that's because-"
"you can't stop thinkin' 'bout her and even went to me for advice."
"how didya even know it was her?!" atsumu furrowed his brows at his twin who was already smirking at him.
"cuz i know when my brother's in love."
