When I wake in the morning I feel someone on me I look down and see Tails laying on top of me and I just sigh lovingly knowing that I am finally happy.

"Good morning Sonicku."

Tails looked at me while rubbing his eyes cutely and I blushed.

"Aww your so cute my love and good morning."

Tails blushed and kissed me.

"Thanks, Sonciku."

I look over to the alarm clock and my eyes widen.

"Oh god, we're going to be late."

Tails quickly look at the clock.

"Oh, crap we are going to be late."

So as we stumbled to get dressed and get ready our bus left without us.

"Great, we're going to be late and on our first day too crap."

"Not if I can help it."

I picked up Tails and cradled him in my arms and he blushed and kissed me before I dashed off to the first day of our senior year of Highschool. When we arrived we got there before the bus did.

"Sonicku we need to do that more often to get to school early."

"Yeah definitely."

When I put Tails down he held my hand and I looked at him and smiled.

"Tails you ready?"

Tails nodded.

"Than let's go."

We walked into our high school hand and hand with no fears well expect being judged by our friends. The first person to walk up to us was Amy and Shadow again they thanked me for getting them together.

"Sonic thank you again for getting Shadow and me together."

"Yeah, Amy and thanks for giving me and Tails some alone time."

"Yeah."

"Hey, Faker."

Amy nudged Shadow.

"Hey, Sonic thanks for helping me out with Amy."

"Wow, Shadow you're thanking me I'm impressed your not such a dark soul as you seem."

"You listen here faker if you think..."

I gave Shadow a handshake.

"But really your welcome shad it was no problem."

"Thank you once again."

"Your welcome."

As Amy and Shadow walked away hand and hand the last person I hoped to see showed up.

"Hey, big blue."

"Rouge?"

"Hey."

Now let's get something straight here Rouge was in love with me at the time but of cousre, she didn't know that I was already with Tails so what she did next was just weird. rouge leaned in to kiss me but I backed up.

"Rouge what are you doing?"

"Kissing the only guy that I love."

"Rouge you don't get it I am with Tails."

I hold up that I am holding his hand.

"Yeah right."

Rouge rolled her eyes at me.

"You're just using him as a cover up to not be with me."

"Do I have to prove it to you?"

"Yes, you have to prove it."

"Okay, you asked for proof here it is."

I kissed Tails's lip lovingly.

"Is that proof enough for you?"

I had never seen Rouge angrier than she was at that very moment. She raised her hand to backhand me but Tails pushed me out of the way and she backhanded Tails and he was sent flying halfway across the room. When I saw him hit the ground I turned into my dark form and grabbed Rouge by the throat and lifted her up.

"Never touch him again NEVER TOUCH MY TAILS EVER AGAIN!!!"

Then I threw her all the way across the room and turned back into my normal form and went to Tails to see if he was okay.

"Tailsy are you okay."

I heard nothing from him. I shook him gently.

"Tails wake up."

Tears started to fill my eyes.

"HELP ME!!!"

I screamed for help. Good thing Shadow and Amy were passing by at the time.

"What happen!!!"

"Just go get the nurse I'll explain later."

Shadow Dashed off to go get the nurse

"it's going to be okay Tailsy I'm right here I'm right here."

I felt the tears rolling down my face and hitting his soft fur.

When the nurse finally arrived she checked him.

"He needs to be taken to the hospital NOW!!!"

"Okay okay thank you."

I picked up Tails and dashed off to the hospital. When I got there all the doctors came right over to me.

"Please help me."

"Sonic calm down tell me what happen exactly."

"H-He was backhanded and set flying half w-way across the room."

"Not good rush him to the emergency room stat.

"Yes, doctor."

"Sonic everything is going to be alright."

"I-I h-hope s-so."

The doctor left to attend to Tails and I was left in the waiting room alone to cry and worry about the only fox that I have ever loved.

"Sonic."

"A-Amy S-Shadow."

"Don't worry we are here for you."

"T-Thank you."

Amy and Shadow held me while I cried in there arms thinking that the only person that I have ever loved was going to die.
