I go to grab the bottle, considering it has some vodka left in it, when I notice Jake from the corner of my eye. I wave.
"Jake!" I say slurring, Daniel still in between my legs.
I notice someone beside him, he looks exactly like Ryver.
Even when drunk I think of Ryver, I look over at the guy for another second.
Im drunk but that's most definitely Ryver Webb.
I push at Daniel's chest pushing him away from me, I don't know why I do.
I try to get off the counter wobbling a little.
"You okay?" Comes in Daniel's voice.
"Yeah I'll be back in a sec." I say, handing him the bottle.
"Ensleey?" Ryver says his voice holding a bit of shock, I can tell I'm the last person he expected to see here tonight, I look over to Jacob and of course he's no help.
Thanks buddy!
"Hey." I say holding on to Jake for support, feeling that effects of alcohol that most probably will effect me worse in the morning.

Ensleey leans against Jake almost falling over, she's wearing a short black dress.
I never expected Ensleey Hendrix wasted at college frat party, but here I am.
"Don't fucking fall." Jake says to her.
Pretty rudely.
"Don't fucking let me." She says, her response is unexpected to me.
"You guys know each other?" I say, trying to register what's going on infront of my eyes.
"Sadly." She says, her words slurring.
She's clearly drunk.
"I'll call mom." He says to me before turning to Ensleey. "Ens we should go."
Ens?
"But i'm having fun." She pouts.
"I'll be in the living room with the guys." He says.
Guys?
"Oh no don't leave me here with him mister." She says.
He just gives her glance, as if they were holding a silent conversation with just their eyes.
"Jake!" She says but he's already gone, she stares back at me, her hazel eyes bloodshot, she doesn't look the same.

"Why the fuck are your here anyways?" She asks.
"For my brother." That was a great response, clearly.
"Fine don't tell me I don't care anyways." She says it like she didn't hear what I said, and maybe she didn't.
I just did tell you I want to say.
"Is that guy your boyfriend?" I ask. Scared of what she might reply.
"I don't do boyfriend." She laughs. "He's just a friend."
I don't like this Ensleey, I want the one I see everyday back.
Which one is even her?
"It didn't mean anything when we kissed. It was just a kiss." She slurs, fidgeting with her fingers . "You mean nothing to me."
I mean nothing to her.
"Thanks for letting me know." I say.
Maybe I never really knew Ensleey.
I give her one last, looking at the girl I thought I really began to know, not seeing the girl I've grown attached to, just seeing a an empty version.
I leave, I not talking a second glance at Ensleey, why should I?
She clearly isn't who I expected her to be.
I don't bothering to see if my brother is going to call my parents either.

"It didn't mean anything when we kissed. It was just a kiss." I lie, my words slightly slurring. I force the next words out and know I'll regret them in the morning more then now. "You mean nothing to me."
"Thanks for letting me know." He says. There's no emotion in his voice, I can't blame him.
He leaves, and Im left standing in the kitchen, feeling myself on the verge of a breakdown.
"Are you alright?" I look up to see Danial.
"I-Ive got to go." I say.
I say goodbye to Danial, who I most likely won't ever see again.
I find the guys in the living room, and we leave, everyone remains silent, I'm guessing Jake filled them in.
Jake just dropped off, Collin and Dean, and it's just the two of us now.

"Do you like Ryver?" Jake deadpans.
That was blunt.
"No."
A big fat lie. Great jobs Ens!
"How long are you going to with that lie?"
"Fine I do, but it doesn't matter my drunken ass probably made him hate me, and we both know I can never be in a relationship ever again."
"I know what happened with Parker-"
"Just stop, and you wouldn't like if I dated your brother either way."
"I'd rather you'd be my brother's girlfriend then for you to be with some asshole, I saw how he looked at you."
"With pure distaste?" I ask.
"No." Jake says. "I've never seen him look at someone that way."
I look out the window, not replying to Jake's comment. Silently ending the conversation.
Jake doesn't take me home, instead he forces me to stay at his apartment. Claiming he doesn't want to leave my drunken ass alone.
*~*~*~*~*
It's Monday morning, and I haven't talked to Ryver since Friday night, I tried to call and text, but of course he didn't answer any of them.
I've come up with only one assumption, and that is Ryver Webb officially hates me, and it's all my fault.
There is no doubt that I don't deserve it, but still stings, it feels like someone is constantly poking me with a needle every time I think of Ryver hating me.
Thats what I wanted.
Even I can't convince myself that. I don't want him to hate him, I miss him, and it hasn't been a few days.
So when lunch rolls around, I go to his locker hoping I can find him.
To my relief he's there, but he's with a few of his friends.
I go up to him anyways. He has a smile on his face, but it quickly fades when he notices me.
"Can-Can I talk to you for a minute." My voice is lower then it normally is, feeling small around the large guys around me, I only recognize one of them other then Ryver, and it's Justin.
The few guys leave after a moment, and when I look up I'm met with the hard stare of Ryver.
"Im sorry what I said on Friday-"
"It doesn't matter you don't need to apologize, is that all you need?" Ryver cuts me off.
"I was drunk, I didn't mean what I said." I say, playing with the sleeves of my hoodie.
"Yeah it's cool I get it." He says. He looks at me for a long moment, as if I'm a puzzle piece that the can't figure the place for.
"What?" I say feeling flustered under his gaze.
"Who's hoodie is that?" He asks, his hard expression, morphs with a frown.
Im currently wearing Dean's hoodie that I stole, so it technically became mine.
Finders keepers, right?
"A friends." I say. "Not like that Deans is like a brother to me."
I finish off, remembering what I had said Friday night in my intoxicated state.
"Dean?" He asks seeming confused. "Is his last name Davis?"
"Yeah-Wait how do you know that?"
"He answered my brother's phone-That reminds how do you know my brother?"
This whole thing is starting to get messy, as much I don't want to explain everything, I might have to.
"A friend." He raises an eyebrow.I shake my head. "Eww never."
I add, not wanting him to think I'd ever do anything with Jake. The thought of it makes me stutter.
"Do I even know you?" He says it so lowly that I almost don't decipher his words, Im guessing he not have wanted me to.
"Of course, but nothing can happen between again." I say, but my words taste like acid on my tongue.
"Who says I want anything to happen between us?"
Ouch. I deserve it.
"Yeah, sorry I should go." I say, once again feeling like I breakdown if I stare at has green eyes once more.
He nods without saying anything.
And that ladies and gentlemen is how I managed to break my own heart.
