《Football Girl》Chapter 26

AYANNA'S POV:
It's been two days since the whole embarrassing situation that bared my soul to the entire high school. I still can't believe it happened, but after a couple days all the drama from it has died down. At least a little of it anyway.
I slowly get out of bed and turn off my alarm clock. I push hair out of my face and not to gracefully, i rise and start to get dressed. After getting dressed i head over to my mirror, put in my contacts, put on eye liner and mascara, and finally put my blond frizz in a ponytail. I stare at my reflection until i get digusted with the way i look and put my hair down.
Ugh, sometimes i really hate being a girl. If i were a guy i wouldn't have to worry about my hair, or make up, or what clothes to wear today. Sometimes life just sucks.
I head downstairs and grab a strawberry poptart before walking out to my car and driving to school. I turn on the radio and flip it to 107.5 to listen to my regular radio station.
I am singing along with a song i know and love when i see flashing blue and red lights. Oh my... Is that cop pulling me over? Thee answer to that question would be a yes.... I did just get pulled over.
I pull over on the side of the road and roll down my window as the officer walks towards my car. I have never been pulld over before. oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.
"Morning, ma'am," he says and looks at me from under his hat.
"H-hello... What's wrong, officer?" I stammer.
"You were speeding," he states and i see him start to write out a ticket. Oh no... My parents are going to kill me.
"I will need to see your liscence and car registration," he continues and i sigh. Ok, i reach over to my backpack and search around for a couple minutes before slowly turning back and feeling like i'm going to cry.
"I...I forgot my license," I say quietly and swallow nerviously.
"Give me your name and birth date," the cop says with an exagerated sigh.
After giving him my information he goes back to his car to make sure it's all legit and then he gives me my ticket and drives away. I lean my head on the steering wheel and sigh through trembling lips.
This week has sucked like no other.
With another sigh i put the car in drive and drive carefully the rest of the way to school. I hope out of the car when i arrive at the school and walk into the school and feel like everybody is staring at me.

Well, i mean. It's not just a feeling, i know they are staring at me. They all need to get a life is what needs to happen. Cuz seriously, i am about to blow a top and i don't think that would end well if i did that.
"Hey, girl, hey," Max says as he walks up beside me and i grimace.
"Hi,"
"How's life?"
"How do you think?" I ask and he sighs.
"Yeah, i know it sucks right now for you, but it will get better. Pretty soon someone else will be the gossip and you will be long forgotten,"
"That day can't come fast enough," I reply and he squeezes my shoulder.
"So, Maggie and i got in a fight last night," Max says and i stare at him in shock.
"What?"
"Yeah,"
"Over what?" I ask and he shrugs.
"You're guess is as good as mine. I said something and she kind of went crazy chick on me. She was probably on her period or something," Max says and looks digusted at the last part.
"Don't look so digusted at the thought of your girlfriend on her period," I say with a grin.
"I can't help it. She always complains about that stuff and to tell you the truth, i really just don't want to know about it," Max says with a grimace and i laugh.
"Was that the sound of happiness in that air?" Max asks and i scowl at him.
"A no," I reply and he grins.
"Oh i think it was,"
"Oh but you are wrong,"
"Oh but i am right,"
"No,"
"Yes,"
"No,"
"YYYYYeeeeessss," Max sings and we stare at each other for a couple minutes before slowly grinning.
"You are so annoying," I say and he spits his tongue out at me.
"No you are,"
"Max! Do not start that again," I say and Max holds up his hands in mock surrender.
"Whoa! Aya, just chill your pill, alright? Just chill your pill," Max says and i stare at him.
"Chill your pill? Don't you mean take a chill pill?" I ask and he shrugs.
"I like chill your pill better," he replies and i grin.
"You are so weird,"
"Well, as much as i would love to stay here and chat with you, i have to get to class before you make me late....again," I reply and he grins.
"Yeah me too,"
~~~~
"Ms. Jones," the teacher snaps and i look up at him in shock. Crap... Caught not paying attention.
"Uh, yes?"
"Were you not paying attention?" He snaps and i blush guiltily.
"Um, yes i was,"
"Um, no you weren't. Why don't you come up here for me," he says with an evil smirk and i grimace. This can't be good.
"That's ok. I'll stay here," I reply and he glares at me.
"Up here, now!" He snaps.
I sigh and slowly walk up to the front of the class and i hear people snickering.
"Why don't you write up on the board the answer to the math question in your text book," the substitute teacher says with another smirk and i feel like punching him.
I go up to the board and write down the problem before standing there and staring at it. The truth is, i have no freaking idea how to do this problem.
I pick up the expo marker and begin to write down my answer. When i finish i step away from the board and grin at the teacher.
There is a stunned silence and the sub. teacher looks pissed and shocked at the same time.
I look back at my work and smirk.
"That about sums it up," I reply and the teacher marches over to me with a completely pissed off look and shoves me away from the board.
"How dare you write that," the guy practically yells and i shrug. I wrote FU and your stupid ideas because that is what i feel.
"Yeah, it just came out," I say.
"You want to know what i think?" The teacher snaps and i shake my head.
"No not really. The fact of the matter is, you are not the real teacher and you don't know me. So why don't you just f off and leave me alone. I also think that you hate everybody under the age of 21 and you only wanted this job so you could push around us kids thinking we would all just take it in silence, but i won't. I will never ever ever listen to you and i won't let you push me around just because you don't like kids," I rant and when i finish i drop the expo marker and stalk out of the room.
I storm out of the school and begin to walk around aimlessly until i end up at an ice cream shop. I walk into the building and order the biggest waffle cone of cotton candy ice cream i can get.
The guy working looks at me and grins. He seems sort of familiar but i can't place it.
"Hey, long time no see," he says and i stare at him.
"Do i know you?" I ask and his grin widens.
"Sure, you kissed me at Pizza Hut," he says and that's when i realize who he is. Tyrell.... From Pizza Hut. Oh my..... I never thought i would see him again, that's why it didn't bother me that i kissed him. But seeing him now makes me blush.
Tyrell sees my blush and he laughs.
"It's ok, i'm not going to say anything about it," he continues and i smile slightly.
"Thanks... I can't believe i did that," I reply.
"I'm glad you did," he answers and hands me my ice cream.
"Do you want to come and sit down since there is no one else here?" I ask him and he smiles sweetly.
"Sure, yeah,"
We sit down and it gets kind of awkward so i begin to eat my ice cream.
"So, why aren't you in school?" I ask him and he grins again. He has a cute smile.
"I know i look really young, but i graduated high school last year. I'm taking a year off before going to college," he replies.
"Oh, yeah. I thought you were about my age or younger," I admit and he nods his head.
"Yeah, most people think i'm younger,"
"So, what did your friends say to you after i kissed you?" I ask.
"They were pretty impressed that i got a girl as pretty as you to kiss me," he replies.
"I guess something good came out of it then," I say and he nods slowly.
"I'm guessing not for you," he states and i grimace.
"My ex-boyfriend found out and he was really upset. I broke up with him a couple days before i kissed you and i guess it hurt him. I didn't realize it would bother him," I explain and stare at my ice cream sadly.
"Well, if he did something wrong to make you break up with him, then he doesn't get the right to be hurt by it," Tyrell says to me and i close my eyes at the thought of Bryson.
"I loved, no, love him," I reply and there is a silence.
"Any mistake can be forgiven, so maybe he deserves to be forgiven and maybe if he knows he is forgiven then he can forget about our kiss," Tyrell explains and i stare at him.
"Why are you helping me when we don't even know each other?" I ask and he smiles.
"You helped me even if it was only a minor thing. So, i figure we will probably never see each other again so i might as well help you while i can," he says and i smile back at him.
"Thanks," I say and stand up ready to find Bryson and set things straight between us.
"Anytime, and good luck,"
Notebook of possibilities
First of all, to those who started reading this I want to apologize. While it does have a ring of a nice story title, this is going to be a place where I take the Sparks of interest from other stories or random ideas and just put it down, I'm not sure how exactly but the title should summarize the basics of what is held within. To say it's a waste isn't accurate, to ask the question why is a good start, why would I want this? Because when I read a story I want to think of so many things I may see or find in the world they envision, all the possibilities that could come about, and maybe, just maybe, some author out there can get their hands on this and it will be a spark of creativity for them to make a new chapter and see their world even a smidge closer to what I think it could be. It is tagged as fanfiction for it will pertain to numerous stories, not simply one in particular. Currently it will include; Oblivion Online Dungeon Heart And many more to be listed as they appear.
