The whole point of this chapter is just to see snippets of how some factors of the story came to be, alternate scenes/storylines that I cut, etc. Stick around if ya want, but this really is just a bonus feature kind of deal and isn't a true part of the story. More really of my ideas and the ways my weird brain works & the ideas it comes up with. Enjoy!

1.

Wouldn't it have been crazy to see the Will we all know and love as an addict? Well I seriously gave it thought due to the fact that his parents pushed him so much that he gained so much stress and grew to depend on substances as a way to get away from it all. I threw the idea out because I didn't want Theo to have to see his one role model and childhood best friend that destroyed so I just stuck with Will's sarcastically crude humor instead.

2.

I actually posted it first, but took it down and replaced it with the current 40. If you've been here a long while you might've actually seen the first edition of chapter 40. Basically the first one was how Theo speeding to the hospital so much that he had a police chase going behind him. It wound him up in jail and Amaya had to break him out before the big game. I just thought it was too much action for such a simple chapter. Plus Theo wouldn't have been able to keep up his good boy streak so I just cut it.

3.

I would have them break up at her house, ending with her making Theo leave for good. She'd come back to the apartment after Christmas break and notice all of Theo's things gone. He would've left a really long note behind thanking her for everything she'd done for him and how she changed him. Annalee would've moved into Theo's room instead of her moving in with Tucker. And to those of you wondering, Amaya would've kept Gracie.

4.

- I don't know why, but I just thought this would've been cute. They're both older but age doesn't matter. There's still love out there for everyone! If anyone deserves love it's these two, so why not find love in each other? I let go of the idea in exchange for Camilla's new love.

5.

-They would've rekindled at Ethel and Bernie's wedding since they were both asked to come back as a bridesmaid and groomsmen. Ethel knew Amaya was perfect for Theo so she sneakily found a way for them not to be able to avoid each other on the wedding day since they'd both be walking down the aisle together, standing directly across from each other and sitting together at the dinner. Ethel was a sly lady with Theo's best interests at heart. It really hurt me to have let this whole idea go.

6.

- I was gonna have her planning to divorce Walter and run away to have the baby which would be why she needed money from Camilla, but I thought of this wayy too late into writing the chapter. Since Cecelia's heavy drinking was the reason she spilled the truth to Mya about Theo breaking up with her I couldn't have her drinking while pregnant and I didn't want to disturb the whole chapter just to make her pregnant.

7.

- This actually came (was actually demanded of me) from someone close who actually reads TFPR. She wanted them to be together so bad and I actually gave it some thought. Will and Amaya obviously connected and in view of that I had Mya really depend on the older brother after her break up with Theo. This led to them becoming romantically involved and winding up together. In the end I trashed the whole idea because Theo and Amaya belong together!! THEMAYA FOREVER!

8.

- It was just too sad to have Mya lose someone she loved that much so soon. I know some of you would say "that's life and stuff like that happens," but why do that when I could write a happier ending for them as a father and daughter?

I just decided to make him Italian instead...because why not? Instead of De Luca for his last name I also really REALLY considered Leonello and Capitani.

- I was going to write a sequel. I had a plot already worked and written out. I decided against the sequel because I'm not as devoted as I should be to writing Themaya's story further. After years of writing this story, I'm just ready to move on to something new and different. There could still be a sequel in the future, but if there ever is one it will be in the FAR future. Hope you guys understand!
