"Doctor, she keeps fainting...that normal?"

"It's from stress. Her body has been in coma for many years. It's still getting used to working and functioning. Whenever she receives news that she can not handle, she passes out."

"But this can be fixed?"

"With time, yes it is possible."

"How much time?" Kabir pressed.

The doctor looked at him with fixed stare, "As much time as her body needs to adjust."

"Stop staring."

Kabir looked away startled.

"Sorry." He said sheepishly.

"So I can leave the hospital soon?"

"Yeah."

"I'm glad."

He looked up at her, "I know that this situation is-"

"It's weird." She agreed.

"I'm still here for you." he placed his hand on her knee.

Neha smiled, "Thank you but you others depending on you now Kabir." With that she removed his hand.

Neha had not spoken to Kabir ever since she had gotten discharged from the hospital, which was probably for the best. Since then, she was starting to dive back into world. Neha was able to get back behind the wheel as she pushed herself to do so, reminding herself that it was not her fault that the car accident happen.

She was slowing healing and was in the process of getting a job. It's that everything was working out for her.

Little did she know, her world was going to fall apart yet again.

It had all started with a call from unknown number.

Cautiously Neha decided to answer, "Hello?"

"Neha?!" A familiar voice cried out.

"Yes?"

"Neha it's me Serena...I need to help!"

Neha's first thought was Kabir, her heart immediately started racing, "Kabir is he-"

"He's fine but-listen I know I'm nobody to you but please come to this address I'm texting you from."

Before Neha come respond, she heard the dial tone along with the sound of hanging up.

Neha sighed. The more she tried to avoid Kabir and his new family, the more she gets pulled in. Nonetheless, once she got the address, she was shocked that the address led to a hospital. Now she had grown concerned for her ex and his family.

As soon as Neha reached the hospital, she could see Serena pacing back and forth in the main lobby with worry.

"Serena?!" She called out.

"Neha. Thank god you're here!"

"What happened?"

"It's Pooja." Neha's thought shifted to the bright smiley girl she had met briefly during her stay at the hospital.

"She needs a O negative blood donor." This was Neha's exact blood type.

Neha looked surprised, "Kabir remembered?"

She knew that Kabir didn't have the O negative but as the mother of Pooja, Serena apparently didnt either unless she was anemic?

Neha looked around, "Where is Kabir? With Pooja?"

Serena looked down, "He doesn't know that we're here."

"What?!" Neha was shocked.

Kabir's daughter was in the hospital and he had no idea?!

"Ma'am, is this the donor?" The hospital staff questioned interrupting.

Serena nodded and turned to Neha raising her hands into prayer, "Please Neha. I don't want worry Kabir."

Of course Neha was not heartless and agreed.

Serena quickly explained to Neha how they ended up in the hospital as Neha prepped herself for the blood transfusion.

Kabir was in India for a business trip with his family. While he was away attending conferences, Serena and Pooja were at the hotel. Pooja was in a bad mood and was constantly disobeying Serena's warnings. To prove her point, Pooja had gotten on the hotel bed and started jumping despite Serena telling her to get off the bed. However Pooja was stubborn and eventually lost her balance falling and hitting her head and going unconscious while losing lots of blood.

Turned out that Neha's blood was the one to save Pooja.
