《The Songless Siren - A Kisame Hoshigaki Love Story》Chapter 5

Kisame seated himself down carefully amongst the moss, growling in annoyance as a twig jabbed into his side. He quickly removed it, throwing it to the side and glaring in the general direction it had gone. Koraru chuckled at his actions before kneeling down slowly slightly to his left facing towards him. Turning his head back to face her he locked her bright eyes with his own. She smiled to him kindly, cocking her head slightly.
"Turn your head like this."
He mimicked her actioned, Koraru scooching forward until she sat directly by his side. Kisame inhaled deeply, his eyes closing over as he focused solely on her scent. She smelled amazing, she always did, like the fresh sea air he often missed so much. His eyes remained closed as she placed her hands onto his cloak, pulling the zip down to his mid torso, and tentatively pulling the fabric free from his shoulder. He shuddered as the air tickled his warm skin, and tensed slightly as Koraru's soft hand placed itself onto his shoulder. Her skin was soft as silk, warm and welcoming. Her tepid breath hit against the base of his exposed neck, a shiver running through him as he memorized each and every sensation. His contact with women in the past had been extremely limited, so to have her so close was exhilarating. Koraru pursed her lips tightly, glancing up to Kisame's closed eyes. At least he wasn't watching her...She lingered for a moment, giving a slight frown and a silent apology to Mangetsu. She had to do this, there was no other way...Without allowing herself another moment to mull over her thoughts she leaned forward, biting lightly into Kisame's blue skin at the base of his neck. He flinched beneath her, Koraru gripping onto his shoulder tightly to signal him that things were as they should have been. She tasted copper, an indication that he bite had gone as deeply as it needed to, and then something else, something others wouldn't pick up on, his chakra. Sweet but naturally so, and she had a latch on it. If Kisame had opened his eyes he would have seen her lips begin to darken, turning a deep almost bruised red. He would have seen the veins of her face begin to shimmer and glisten as his chakra was absorbed into her. He would have seen the scales on her body rapidly regenerating...and he would have seen the tears fall from her eyes as her mind focused on one thing and one thing only. That it wasn't the one she loved, that it wasn't Mangetsu. He didn't though, his eyes remained closed. They had to; the moment she broke his skin he could feel it. Slow and low a first, a warmth inside him, comforting, gentle, sweet...but as she began drawing his chakra it began to grow. He felt the substance leaving him, however it was as if a weight was being lifted, a poison extracted, leaving his body feeling as though it was floating listlessly through the air. The warmth grew, his lips parting as he took a short sharp breath, it coursed through him in rapid pulses, each drop of his blood turning to lava as it shot through his iced veins, his skin prickled, his muscles so tense that they ached. His head fell back, another ragged breath slipping past his blue lips as his fingers clutched into the earth beneath him. He wanted to raise them up, to take a firm hold on the woman set beside him, to push her back onto the damp forest floor, pin her beneath him, to feel her writhe, to hear her moan...He dug his hands deeper, his body shuddering as desire gripped at each and every inch of him. He was sweating profusely, able to feel the droplets sliding down his forehead. His lips pursed tightly in an effort to suppress the delighted gasps wishing to pass them. If he moaned he would never be able to live it down. Although now planted beneath the upturned earth up to his wrists he continued to focus on his fingers, balling them tightly, his nails piercing into his own flesh as he tried to focus on something, anything, other than her. Other than the feeling she was giving him, this pure ecstasy engulfing the entirety of his form, other than her soft hand rested gently on his shoulder, other than her long locks draping wistfully across his chest, caressing it delicately. His eyes shook as he pressed them closed tighter, his vow to himself suddenly meaning nothing as his lips parted, a satiated groan rumbling from deep within him. Damn it felt so good...he couldnt take much more before he...Kisame suddenly became aware of his tenseness, cursing himself silently. After the flack he had given Oruka, if he done it to...oh he just couldn't. His teeth bit into his lips, the sharpened edges immediately piercing into the tender flesh, blood dripping from them quickly. He tried to focus on the pain, on his lips, on his palms, but it was futile. It was little, no it was nothing, compared to the all-consuming bliss washing over him like waves in a storm.

"K-kor-ah..."
He failed to call on her. To tell her to stop, that he couldn't take anymore. That his ability to keep himself still was wavering. His half attempt didn't fall on deaf ears though. Koraru was listening, she was alert, and she was attentive, as most feeding Mizutenshi were. Men were unpredictable when in this state, and some, especially those capable of overpowering them, could act upon their impulses. It wasn't that she didn't trust Kisame, it was that she was unaware how he would react to the feeding. She ran her tongue over the would, the healing properties gifted to her saliva closing over the openings slowly as the muscle swirled over them, before she sat back slowly, her gaze affixed tightly on the dis-heaved Kisame seated before her. His eyes cracked open, his breathing irregular, a deep blush set across his cheeks, and his muscles tense. He pulled his hands free from the dirt, shaking them free and glancing to the deep wounds on his palms. He quickly raised them, wiping the blood from his lips. He shook his head, Koraru falling back sharply as he raised up, passing her by quickly and affixing his cloak into place before running his fingers through his short locks. Koraru stood up behind him, releasing a short sigh as she dusted herself off. Great now he was going to be weird about it...It wasn't any reaction that she hadn't expected, heck if anything he had taken it extremely well, even though she had only taken around ⅔ of what she had intended to. He took a long deep breath, ensuring his face stayed turned away from her before lifting his sword from its resting place, and beginning back towards their campsite. Koraru looked to him in disappointment as she followed after. It quickly became apparent to her that Kisame wouldn't speak to her right now. If she sped up a little to catch up to him he simply took longer strides, ensuring that the distance between them remained the same. Her head hung slowly and she looked to the glimmering scales covering the back of her hands.
"Thank you Kisame-kun."
He didn't acknowledge her statement, keeping true to his dedicated course and quickly exiting into the clearing where Itachi still sat, staring into the flickering flames before him thoughtfully. The Uchiha's head rose as Kisame passed by him, perching himself atop the large rock behind his partner, muttering quietly to him about him keeping watch right now. Itachi's eyebrow raised, his attention then focusing onto Koraru as she stopped beside him, staring sadly to Kisame's back. She shook her head no slowly, telling herself it was better to allow him time to calm himself before she tried to reassure him. She seated herself beside the fire alone, giving both of the Akatsuki members their space, however Itachi rather quickly moved from his spot, clearing his throat to draw her attention. She tore her gaze away from the embers, looking up to the dark eyed Uchiha. His light blush had returned, and deepened slightly as he stared down to her bright inquisitive eyes.

"I would like to sit with you; to feel calmed."
She gave him a small smile, and nodded her head curtly. He thanked her as he sat down beside her, both returning to their own thoughts as they focused onto the burning wood, both that little bit more relaxed as a comfortable silence retook the area. Her gaze flickered occasionally to the turned away Kisame, a saddened expression taking her features at his distance. He would come around soon.

Still, Archimedes felt despair that he had lived a worthless life as something as pitiful and futile as a dungeon. Sensing his regret and potential, the voice of the world presented Archimedes with the chance to start anew and live a more meaningful life. Thrilled and hopeful for the first time in eons, Archimedes accepted the offer, only to be reborn again as a dungeon core with not a single room or monster to his name. Just what was the meaning of this?! Archimedes couldn't figure out what the voice of the world was thinking. Somehow, he would have to draw a sage into his dungeon to figure it out for him. _______________________ DCS is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying end.
