"Where are we going, Aug?"

"A park. We gon have a lil family gatherin thea, since lil man couldn't enjoy his birthday."

I suddenly felt super guilty about Christian not having his birthday party. I know what happened wasn't my fault, but it still upset me that my baby did nothing for his birthday but eat out at a restaurant.

"Pick ya head up, Sarah." August said. "It ain' ya fault."

"I know, I know," I sighed. "I just wish all that didn't happen on his birthday, you know."

"I know, but we not gon focus on what happened that day, we gon focus on what's ta come fa taday." He said, glancing at me.

"Okay." I nodded.

I was honestly hesitant about being outside in the open. One, August has an ridiculous amount of fans, who will do anything to get near him and two, Raymond.

Although he hasn't been around since Christian's birthday, I was still paranoid that I would run into him being outside.

"Look at the birdies." Christian said, making me smile a little. "What's they name? Is they seagans?"

"It's seagulls, baby." I corrected, giggling lowly.

"Seagulls? What's a seagull?" He asked.

"The birds flying around." I answered.

"Oh." He said, leaning back in his booster seat.

"Y'all ready fa dis lil fun gatherin? We can barbecue ova thea and lil man can play onna swing right thea." He parked the car and pointed at the playground, which was filled with kids and an empty barbecue grill.

"Let's go." Christian said, quickly taking off his seatbelt and slid down from his booster seat.

As Christian got out the car, he went over to Aug's side and opened the door for him.

"Can I go play?" He asked so sweetly.

"Ask yo momma."

I couldn't see Christian's reaction, but as he walked over here, his head was down and he was playing with his fingers. He slowly opened the door on my side and kept his head down.

This gesture did hurt my feelings, but I didn't want to show him that. Nor do I want to display this reaction to August.

"C-can I go play, mommy?"

I pushed his wild curls back and lifted his head. "Only if I can get hugs and kisses?"

He smiled and quickly gave me what I've been needing. He grabbed my cheeks and gave me a kiss.

I laughed, "Alright, go play, but stay close, okay?"

"Okay." He said and ran over to the playground.

"Shut the do' real quick." August said. I shut the door and looked over at him. I began to blush when I see he's already looking at me.

"What?" I tried my best not to smile because of the look he was giving me.

He licked his lips and smirked. "You good, baybeh?"

"Stop looking at me like that." I mumbled.

"Like what?"

"Like I'm your food or something." I shrugged.

"You are ma food. I wanna see what you taste like."

"Bye, August." I got out the car and shook my head.

If I stayed in that car with his nasty self, we'd be working on baby number two and ain't nobody got time for that.

I grabbed the bags from the trunk, before August came and took them from me.

"Go sit down, ya man got dis." He said, grabbing all the bags from the back.

"Okay."

"Gimme a kiss first."

"No." I laughed, mushing his face away from mine.

I quickly walked over to the empty table and sat down facing the playground. I watched as Christian played with the other kids. Watching him play with kids around his age made the think about him starting school. I was honestly nervous about him starting school. I'm so use to having him by my side 24/7 and him starting school will limit me seeing him and that really saddened me.

"When we get back ta the house, you bet not try to be all lovey and shit. What you did was foul." August said, dropping the bags on the table.

"Boy, bye." I waved him off.

"Ya face all scrunched up, whatchu thinkin bout?" He asked, cleaning the grill off a little.

I walked over to him and laid my head on his back. "Christian starting school."

I inhaled his cologne and rolled my eyes in the back of my head. August smelled so good.

He turned around and wrapped his arms around me. "It's time fa him to start school. He jus turned five, it's time."

"I know, but I'm so use to literally having him by my side twenty-hours a day and now it's going to be sixteen-hours a day. I'll have no one to talk to." I frowned.

"Stop actin like I'an gon be witcho big headed ass."

I gasped and pinched his sides. "I don't like you."

"Dats okay," he laughed, pushing my hands away. "cause I luh you. Ya heard me, baybeh. I luh you, lil girl."

I laughed, shaking my head. "You're something else."

After a few minutes of talking and flirting (which was all August) we began to cook the food. I made pasta salad for myself and potatoes salad and baked beans for August and Christian, which was cooked at the house.

I watched August light the grill and prepare the meat for it. For some very odd reason, watching him cook was making me feel some type of way and for an even odder reason, I liked the way I was feeling.

"Man, take a picture if you gon stare at a nigga all day." He said.

"Shut up, ugly." I rolled my eyes, blushing at the fact that he caught me staring.

"Did ya season those kabobs like I said?"

"Yes, daddy." I nodded.

August laughed, stepping back from the grill. "Say it again fa me, baybeh."

"Yes, daddy." I smiled at him.

"Freak ass, hand me da damn kabobs befo somethin happens."

I handed him the tray of the kabobs and wrapped my hands around his waist. "What's gon happen, boo?"

I placed my hands in his pants, resting it on his bulge.

Where did all this confidence come from?

"Whatchu doin, ma?" He got serious.

"Nothing." I slid my hand into his briefs, wrapping my fingers around him.

"Sarah," He said, making my heart skip several beats.

"Yes." I began to stroke him.

Yes, I know it's nasty because we're outside around kids and their parents and we're also close to the food, but it's not like I'm doing it out in the open.

"Fuck," he groaned.

I continued to stroke him, before Christian walked over. I quickly removed my hand from August's big body part.

"Mommy, I'm hungry."

"Alright. Let's go wash our hands so we can eat."

He nodded as we walked over to the restrooms.

Ima beat ha ass.

Gotta marry ha.

Had me moanin like a bitch.

Ooh, ima beat ha ass.

I shook ma head, placin the cooked kabobs inna clean container.

As I'm placin the steaks and chicken onna grill, I see a group of girls comin ova ya me.

"Oh, my gosh!" One screamed. "I love your music August. Can you sign my phone case?"

I nodded and quickly signed it.

"What's ya favorite song of mine?" I asked, making conversation with them.

"I love Don't Forget About Me." She said smilin.

"I love Let Me Hit That." Ha friend said, twirlin a piece of hair between ha two fingers.

"Is dat right?" I smirked.

"Yes," she said, biting a lips.

She a pretty girl, but I got ma baybeh already. So I ain' checkin fa ha.

"Can I get a picture with you?" She asked, battin ha eyes.

"Yea." I wrapped ma arms around ha and posed fa the picture.

Afta ha friend snapped the picture, Sarah and Christian walked back and sat at the table.

"Thank you for the pictures Aug. Can I get a hug?" The same one that was flirtin and shit said.

I opened my arms for a hug and they all came and hugged me back.

I pulled away and they walked off.

"Mommy, he had those girl touching him." I heard Christian whisper, makin me throw ma head back and laugh.

"I thought we was cool, lil man, you snitchin na?" I joked.

"We is cool." He said, mockin ma accent and shit.

"Y'all are crazy." Sarah laughed.

"Come here, baybeh." I motioned fa ha to come here. She placed ha hand on ma back and stared at me. "Aye, when we get back home, ima beatin yo ass."

She laughed.

She must think this shit a game or sum shit, but na, a nigga serious.

"I'm not playin." I said, takin the rest of the food off the grill.

"What I do?" She smiled.

"You play too damn much." I said, pushing ha ta the side.

"But you love me though." She smiled.

It was refreshing ta see ha smilin fa real. I know I'm doin ma job right because she's been smilin all day, ha and Christian back talkin like nothin eva happened, and she ain paranoid and continuously watchin ha surroundins.

"I do." I said, starin at ha. She smiled and made Christian and I plates.

Ma baybeh so damn fine.
