《How to Create a Purrfect Prophecy》Creation

Ok, so we have Rainpaw, Grasspaw, and Sandfur, right?
Let's say that the outline of our story that we planned at the end of last chapter is that Sandfur is evil and Leafpaw joins her, thinking it is the right choice. Then Rainpaw has to bring Grasspaw back and in the final battle Grasspaw comes back and they beat Sandfur together.
Now, let's sort that out:
"Grass will join sand to rule the forest, but then rain will persuade grass and they will defeat sand at the end of the day."
That is... technically a prophecy, but it could, uh, use some work.
First, let's make the prefixes more obscure. Then the reader will wonder- "What characters are these words portraying?"
"Green will join desert to rule the forest, but then water will persuade green and they will defeat the desert at the end of the day."
Better, but it still sucks pretty bad. What kind of person would read a book with a prophecy like that? Surely not me.
Alright, so what do we do with this?
So, let's make it a bit more obscure. Use different words that could translate but make it harder to guess.
"Green will grow in the desert to rule, but will be washed away by water and together, they will conquer the sand that covers the forest floor."
Harder to guess, right? It's prefect, right??
Well, almost.
Let's shorten it as much as possible and change up a few phrases. Dig deep into your mind for this one.
"Green grows in the desert but will be roused by water. Then together they will wash away the black that rules the forest."
Mysterious, right?
I will say that this is not a top-notch example, but I'll put a few more original prophecies in the upcoming chapter.

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel. Children of the Halo
A thousand years have passed since the signing of the Pact: an historic agreement between the nations of the Pactlands to work for the betterment of the whole. But in recent years, the Empire of Vector has been growing more bold, submitting a claim for the long-contested Disputed Lands. When a young and inexperienced noblewoman ventures into the anarchic territories the residents call the Free Lands in an effort to discover what Vector is plotting, the last thing she expected to find was a City of Wonders. On a fateful summer morning, the Vancouver Island town of Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada finds itself and its very residents thrust sideways from the world they know to the medieval Pactlands: a world ruled by a shadowy council of mages and governed by the laws of steel and influence. Cut off from their own world, the residents of this small cottage town are thrust knee-deep into the political, humanitarian and martial turmoil suffered by the residents of the Free Lands. Staring down the threat of the Vectoran claimant force, the hidden machinations of the High Magus Council, and desperately seeking the allies and resources they need to maintain their way of life, the residents of Ladysmith must use everything they have at their disposal to survive and claim their own place in a world they were not born to. Magic, intrigue and eight thousand Canadians. What could go wrong? Updates every Tuesday and Thursday.
