jennie stretches her arms wide open then yawns, opening her eyes to the sight of small buildings and the blaring sun on her neighborhood. she looks beside her, expecting to see a sleeping thai but it was an empty space instead. jennie shivers, feeling cold and lonely without the blonde by her side. she shrugged it off, busying herself with the usual morning rituals.
after she readied herself for another day, she takes an apple inside the fridge then leaning on the counter while she eats peacefully. she takes out a pitcher of cold water and fills it in a glass, chugging it down with thirst.
after throwing the uneaten part of the apple, she saw a sticky note on the side of the table with a messy handwriting. who else could it from be?
good morning nini! did you have a great sleep? if you ask me, i did cuz i spent the night with you ><
"manoban is such a sweetheart," jennie lets out a giggle. she looks at the note again and continues reading.
i came by to say i left early, dance practice and usual stuffs. i'll meet you later to our usual hangout. can't wait to see you. take care nini
—your lili♡
"damn you manoban for making my heart feel this way," jennie mutters as she unstuck the note and tucked it inside her bag. her cheeks were hot and red, all of these is because of the girl who left her a sticky note.
jennie left with a smile etched on her lips.
jennie fixes her things and placed them inside her bag, excitement evident on her face because she'll be spending her time with lisa. she cups her cheeks, her elbows on the table for support whilst staring at the door, waiting for a certain blonde to come in. a few minutes have already passed, and the clock is ticking so loud than it usually does and it irritated her. she hissed and pats her foot impatiently on the floor.

"arghhh!" jennie groans loudly and bangs her hands on the table making a loud 'thud'. she's been waiting for fifteen minutes yet lisa is still nowhere to be found. she stands up with heavy steps, tilting her neck to both sides making a popping sound. "where the hell are you manoban?"
she gets out from the room, ready to search for the thai but she stopped her tracks immediately. "just five seconds of finding you and here you are, flirting." jennie grits her teeth.
lisa was leaning against the wall, smiling widely and looking at the girl who is...wiping the sweats on her skin.
"i should be the one doing that." she says in her mind.
saying she's mad is an understatement. she feels angry, blood boiling, like she can kill someone by now. the feelings she felt a vey long time ago...she feels it again. just because of her lisa.
she turns back, balled her fists and closed her eyes for a moment, trying to forget the scene she saw but it was the only thing on her mind. and the girl...being punched by going near lisa.
"pranpriya!" she shouts, making the two girls look at her. she arched her brow at the terrified and surprised face of the thai. the girl on the other hand was smiling, seemingly friendly. but she's way more friendly to lisa. "let's see whose smile will remain."
she walks with heavy footsteps, making the two frightened. lisa gulped nervously as jennie gives her a death glare, asking herself what did she do to make the brunette like this.
"lisa." jennie says hard and authoritative. lisa gulps nervously and met their eyes together. a shiver ran down lisa's spine. "hi, i'm momo! lisa's friend." he girl says with a smile on her face.

jennie scoffs. "just a friend, huh." jennie looks at the confused and nervous thai and smirks. she clings her arms on lisa's neck and the two girls looks at her with confusion.
"why don't you introduce me to your 'friend'." jennie bites her lip and moves her brows. lisa gulps again before speaking. "mo-mo, this is jennie, my–"
"mine. i'm hers." and she kisses lisa's cheeks.
lisa's eyes widened and jennie grinned. she gives momo a don't-touch-her-she's-mine look and momo bows, then scurries away.
"jen-what–what was that-t all a-about?" lisa stutters, unable to form a proper sentence since jennie just declared she is hers. jennie. is. hers.
am i jennie's property?
jennie rolls her eyes and scoffed. she removes her arms around lisa's and folds her arms.
"why. are. you. flirting?"
"i was at practice and–"
"does practicing include making a girl that is not me wipe off your sweat? i felt like losing my job!" she says the rest in her mind.
"momo is just a frie–"
"well it doesn't look like it! you-you smiled at her and looks at h-her–" jennie was cut off by lisa's finger. "shhh jennie. i won't do things that you don't like okay? besides, i'm yours right?"
jennie blushes, almost forgetting about what she said earlier. she just wished lisa was hers so no one can flirt with her girl.
she buries her head on the crook of lisa's neck, while lisa grinned. they stayed like that for minutes already, not planning on letting go.
"she really likes me?" lisa asks herself.
jennie mischievously grinned and bites lisa's neck. lisa flinches and shouts, startled by the shorter's act. they both pulled away, lisa's mouth hang open as she touches the bite and jennie stops herself from laughing.
"i'm still mad at you."
"jennieeee," lisa whines as she pulls jennie on the couch. lisa's stronger than her so of course, jennie surrenders and both fell on the couch. jennie tries to get away but struggles, locked by lisa's arms on her sides. jennie groans and closes her eyes, feeling so exhausted.
"what. do. you. want?"
"how can i make it up to you?" lisa asks and pouts, feeling guilty of what happened earlier even if she shouldn't.
jennie looks at her eyes intently, showing guilt and sadness. she moves her eyes down immediately to the blonde's plump lips and she gulps, turning away.
"i want you to kiss me!" she internally screamed.
"go away!" jennie shoved lisa and gets up quickly, locking herself in her room.
she crashes herself on the wall, having an emotional breakdown.
after everything that happened, lisa stayed. lisa is always there, ready to give her everything she wants. she likes lisa, so much that only now she realizes it.
but there is one question. does lisa like her too?
and on the other side of the room, the thai thinks intently, what to do for jennie to forgive her.
lisa smirks. "i know..."

Blue Hills
Nothing had ever felt quite right for Alexander Adamson. He'd worked his way up to a job he could tolerate, a few casual friends, and even a nice little apartment that he could call his own, though it really wasn't. The problem was that none of it was satisfying. It was as though he were going through the motions of a life, rather than having one of his own. Of course, it didn't exactly feel right when he woke up in a strange bed in the middle of nowhere. Nor when he was told that he was now the proud owner and operator of a local farm. A farm that had belonged to a late uncle he'd never known. But with the first train out of town a full 'season' away, he had plenty of time to get used to the idea. Plenty of time, perhaps, to even get to like the strange little town of Blue Hills. I have a discord now. Marvel at my ability to somehow still be antisocial on the other side of a screen! Back from hiatus along with my other fiction. Chapters are on a Thurs/Sun schedule until book 3 of that fiction is completed, at which point I'll be updating this daily. At which point uh.... I dunno what I'm going to do.
