"jendeukie," a familiar voice defeated the loud crowd overfilling her ears. she was sitting on the benches, waiting for the show to start as she busies herself with her social media accounts. not until her friends arrived with their wide smiles.

jennie instantly turns her head to the side where the voice came from, seeing the two girls. she smiled brightly as she waved her hands at them as they sat down on the vacant seat beside her, with exactly two seats occupied.

jisoo gave her a look that jennie knew so well but she shrugged it off, turning her head back to her phone as she scrolled down her twitter. jisoo gives her an annoyed look and talked to chaeyoung instead, who was going down the bleachers. jisoo shrugged it off as well, roaming her eyes around the auditorium. mostly all the students were here today. it has been two weeks since the competition was announced, and everyone was anticipating for a show.

"you made her a banner?" jisoo asked in amusement as she spots a huge covered cardboard hiding on jennie's legs. the brunette gave her a tedious stare and nodded her head in reply. "can i see?" jisoo chirped, at the verge of touching the object but jennie pushed her on the face. jisoo winced at the sudden contact as she straightened her position, giving a glare to the brunette.

"for your information, it wasn't my childish idea to make a banner for her. we made a bet and clearly, i lost." jennie said with a scowl and turned her direction to where chaeyoung was, heading towards her seat. "where did you go?"

"lisa," she says with an enthusiastic voice and for the first time in a while they caught their eyes look onto each other. jennie gave her a small smile which the younger returned. "she says you should shout out her name when she performs to be motivated, jennie."

the latter reacted with a groan while the two gave her a teasing look. "no no i won't do it," she insists.

"you won't do what?" and there comes the familiar blonde girl with her familiar smirk, sitting beside the brunette and facing her. she wore an all black clothes and a light make-up, outlining her doe-eyes and plump lips. she was undeniably beautiful, you'll have to ask yourself if she's even real.

"lalisa," jennie utters as she stared at the masterpiece in front of her, stealing all her attention. lisa smiles at the effect she gives at the amazed girl in front of her. "you look–wow. you look–" jennie struggles to form words to describe the beauty beside her. she just can't look away from her. like her eyes are glued to her face.

a lot has also complimented lisa's look for today. she became shy and flattered, bowing and thanking them, and also complimenting them in return. but she doesn't believe their compliments unless jennie tells them. unless jennie tells her "beautiful", or any word of the like. because when it comes to jennie, everything matters.

"i look–what?" lisa asked with a hint of shyness in her voice but she still pulled out her teasing smirk and wiggling brows. jennie's cheeks were tinted red and she gives lisa a small pout. "you look like a human now." not the words lisa was expecting her to hear.

the thai gave her a small frown, then pouting her plump lips to the brunette who was giggling lightly beside her. she almost forgot why she was here in the first place.

"by the way ms. kim," lisa paused a second as jennie let out a hearty giggle at the formality, which the blond smiled at, getting more confident, then continued, "if my team wins today, will you go out on a date with me?"

"lisa," jennie said with a soft voice as she held the younger's veiny hand, "even if you don't i'll still go on a date with you." and she gave her cutest gummy smile that she knows will melt lisa's heart. she just loves lisa suffering just by doing small things. and the thing she does afterwards.

lisa kisses jennie on the cheek, leaving a red mark visible for the people around to see. they don't care about the people around them, or the way they murmur or react in disgust at their acts. they don't care, as long as their happy in their little world and no one disturbs them, then it's fine.

"i expect you to give me the warmest hug and see multiple red marks on my cheeks when we win, arraseo?" lisa asks, more like a statement as she gives another kiss on the brunette's delicate hand and before she can even react, the blond already disappeared.

"and the team who ranked first place is..." there was a dramatic drum roll and everyone murmurs and cheers for anticipation. chaeyoung's hands fidgets while praying in her mind and jisoo bites her lip in nervousness. jennie on the other hand waves the cardboard on the air, the words written in black and pink glitters.

"damn, this is taking so long," she muttered under her breath as she sees lisa eying her from afar and giving her a smile. "go babe!"

"starstruck!"

defeating claps and cheers echoed throughout the room as the five members of the team jumped in joy and hugged each other. they waved their hands around the whole crowd and bowed down as lisa took the trophy for the team.

jennie looked beside her to see her friends hugging in joy as they cheered for lisa. wait what? that was lisa's group who won? jennie asked herself, stupidly staring around the crowd to see them all looking towards lisa's team. ooh, their group name is called starstruck. jennie notes and started to cheer for her girl. "babe i know you did amazing!" she shouts through the crowd and lisa looks at her with a big smile.

the emcee gave her the microphone to do her speech. she and her group went to the podium and waved their hands one last time before speaking. jennie rolls her eyes slightly, hoping it ended soon but her girl was there, doing her speech in front of the crowd. who couldn't be more proud?

"uhm, annyeonghaseyo. starstruck ibmida!" and the crowd cheers once again. "i'm not really good at speaking but here i am!" she pauses and gives the crowd a warm smile before continuing. "thank you all so much for supporting and believing in us, it means a lot! we practiced for this non-stop but we know it's all worth it." the other volunteering members gave their speech too, each giving smiles and waving at the sea of people.

the members descended out of the podium but the thai stayed, grasping the microphone again. "and shout out to the beautiful brunette holding a banner with my name on it, i'm expecting your kisses, hmm?" the whole crowd bursted in shouts and squeals and the mentioned brunette blushed madly, covering her face as the people around her stared at her. she looked beside her friends and they gave her a teasing look which made her blush even more.

"what is she doing?" she muttered in complaint but her face betrayed her, hiding her smile with her hands.

"congratulations baby!" chaeyoung shouted and welcomed lisa with a big hug, followed by jisoo who pinched her cheeks and whispered something, making lisa blush lightly. they even took pictures together that made the brunette sigh in exasperation.

"i should be the one who's doing those to her." she huffed.

"jeninininini!" lisa called with aegyo and jennie stared at her with a familiar look—love. she opened her arms and lisa practically threw herself at the small brunette's body, making them lose balance a little. lisa snuggled her head in the crook of jennie's neck. she pulled away seconds after then kissing her cheeks like she promised too.

smooch. smooch. smooch.

chaesoo's getting disgusted by it. jisoo even made puking sounds to disturb them but to no avail.

"yah!" jennie exclaimed and laughed at lisa's filled with kiss mark face and took her phone out to take a picture of it.

lisa pouts playfully and pecked jennie's lips which made jenchuchaeng surprised. lisa smirked and give a long kiss on the brunette's right cheek before intertwining their hands together.

"we're going on a date today!" lisa says enthusiastically at chaesoo. chaeyoung smirks and said: "we'll have a date too. right jichu?" jisoo intertwined their hands together and stuck out her tongue. "you aren't the only couple here, jenlisa!"

"jenlisa what?" jennie asked and furrowed her brows. lisa smiled again. "jennie–lisa equal to jenlisa!" lisa said.

"oh."

"let's go eat chickin!" jisoo exclaimed and made chicken noises while dancing to it. chaennie laughed at her antic while lisa corrected her. "it's chicken, not chickin." but to no avail.

"chickin, chickin, chickin," jisoo chanted till they got inside the car.

since it's chaeyoung's car, jisoo sat at the shotgun seat while jenlisa sat on the backseat. not that they are complaining though.

"hey chaeng," jisoo called out. chaeyoung hummed in response as she focused her gaze at the front. "give me ten bucks if jenlisa ends up making out in the car." she smirked and glanced at the back where jennie and lisa was, unaware of the bet going on in front of them. they were busily playing with each other's hands and whispering sweet nothings to each other.

"i bet they'll just cuddle till we get to the restaurant." chaeyoung's bet wasn't even convincing, it was more like a question. they smirked at each other as they glanced at the back. jennie noticed this thus she stopped caressing lisa's hair and looked at them, perplexed. "what is it?"

they just shrugged it off.

the brunette clicked her tongue and went back to caressing lisa's hair, and the latter snuggled close to jennie, burying her head inside her neck.

"i'm so tired," lisa yawned. "we can just go home and sleep you know," jennie suggests but lisa shook her head. "where's the fun in that?"

lisa broke their hug and looked at the brunette's eyes, seeing the familiar shade of brown in her eyes. she smiled smugly at her, then bringing their faces closer...

"give me the damn money later, we have to deal with these two," jisoo said and sighed, getting uncomfortable with the fact that her best friend is making out in the backseat. it's okay with her, she can just look away but the fact that she can hear their moans, even though their keeping it low as possible she can still hear them, and the dirty whispers their saying to each other. she is at the verge of throwing then out of the window.

"uhm, remind me later," chaeyoung responds with uneasiness in her voice as she parked the car, already at their destination.

chaeyoung and jisoo was already outside but jennie and lisa pays no mind, too engrossed with each other's lips against each other. they only stopped once chaeyoung and jisoo pulled them away. not exactly since they were still doing it, jisoo had to threat lisa to cutting her bangs off.

"phew,"

jennie gives them an apologetic smile and hides her burning red face, too embarrassed of what she has done. "it was lisa's fault," she started. the mentioned girl cocks her eyebrows and points at jennie. "i am not! you were giving me that look and–"

"in the name of god will you guys just shut up!"

"geez jennie, i didn't know you were this aggressive," jisoo remarks with a smug grin on her face.

"she makes me," jennie thinks.

"s-shut up!"

the blond placed her hand on top of jennie's lying on the table as they wait for their order.

"they are back at it again," jisoo announces as she slurped her banana juice. jennie gives her an eye-roll. "what the fuck? we have separate tables snd you are still looking at us?!"

"we don't want to get embarrassed again," chaeyoung whispers and winks, causing lisa to groan.

"c'mon babe, don't mind them. they are just jealous because they can't make out like we do. so much for vanilla sex park chaeyoung!"

chaeyoung widened her eyes, too speechless to say anything. "excuse me, we don't have to get rough just to be pleasured. chaeyoung's hair flips while stripping is enough to make me wet!" jisoo retorts, unaware of how inappropriate her words were. chaeyoung slaps her arms, making her realize what she said. "oh shit!"

"exposed," lisa said dramatically and jennie bursted out laughing.

they were about to bicker more but the food arrived, making them hella hungry.

they minded their own businesses as they munch the food right in front of them. they took pictures as well, to capture the happy memories they shared. it was an amazing night, just the four of them with the love of their lives.

"see you at nayeon's party!" chaeyoung waved her hand at jennie and lisa who waved back with wide smiles, clearly in joy at the bonding they shared just a while ago. "nyeongan!" jisoo shouts and waves as well.

once jennie and lisa disappeared inside their dorm, jisoo reminded her girlfriend,"my twenty bucks!"

once jennie and lisa finished showering separately, they readied themselves for slumber, wearing their pajamas on.

lisa jumps on the bed and jennie groans, already half-asleep. "why are you here again? your bed misses you already," jennie mumbles, her eyes closed as she hugs her pillow tighter.

"but babe, i will miss you if i do," lisa insists. she waited for a retort but when she didn't, she smiled widely, hugging the brunette gently like a delicate glass.

"and because no matter how thick my blankets are, their warmth got nothing compare to when you hug me through the night."

jennie smiles at this. even if it's so cheesy it still makes her heart feel things.

"so baby, hug me till i fell asleep, hug me like you desire."

jennie shifts and faces lisa, admiring her beauty before putting her arms around her waist, kissing her forehead, her nose, and lastly, her lips.

these are the nights she dreamed of. and it's coming true.

"oh darling i will hug you even if the sun is awake."
