jennie stretched her arms upwards and yawned. it was currently quarter to seven and she just woke up. she checked herself on the mirror and noticed a small sticky note attached to the mirror. she grinned as she saw the familiar handwriting of the one who probably wrote it. she detached it from the mirror and read it aloud.

"if you will ask me whom i love the most, look at the mirror." her smile widened and bit her lip. lisa's a really cheesy person but she really makes jennie's heart flutter so much that she might get hospitalized already.

"meet me at 8:30 outside later, princess. i love you."

from this, she knows what to do.

"holy shit jisoo. this is so nerve-wracking. i think i'm gonna die." jennie heaved a deep breath. she heard a chuckle from jisoo on the other line and the crunching of chips. "don't be afraid, nini. since when did you became so nervous as heck?"

jennie fidgets her fingers. "just now, idiot! this is harder than coming out, oh god." she bit her lip as she checked the time. 8:21

"damn, i don't know what i'll say. i might forget about it." jennie felt her heart beating so fast and loud she might just explode. maybe it is better like that.

"just be sincere. just love," jisoo shouted the latter and squealed. "oh god, can you like, go here right now? i don't know if i picked the right dress. lisa might not like it,"

"lisa is whipped. she'd still think you're beautiful even if you wear a garbage bag, so honey, you are beautiful today, tomorrow, and to lisa's eyes." and she heard jisoo squealing again.

"shit, four more minutes. gotta go check myself!" she exclaimed. "go girl! just be sincere and spread love!" jisoo exclaimed before ending the call.

"inhale. exhale. jennie don't be nervous. you're beautiful. you're jennie." she murmured random things as she calmed herself. she looked at the mirror and checked everything on her to see if there was something wrong but thankfully, there were none.

"holy fuck!" she cussed. her heart beat is so quick and maddening she really thinks she's going to die. "you can do this jennie!" she motivated herself. she paced around the room and lastly, took her purse and checked herself on the mirror one last time.

8:30

she's ready.

she walked out of the room and outside the apartment.

and there her woman was, leaning against the car door as she waits for her. jennie's eyes sparkled at the sight of lisa.

"lalisa," jennie called. lisa's head shot up abruptly and they gazed at each other. obviously, they were both speechless. too mesmerized to say anything right now. jennie's just so gorgeous and lisa's just so beautiful and they're both breathtaking to each other, like they can just spend the whole night looking at each other with so much love and passion.

lisa broke the eye contact first. "j-jennie, wow," lisa uttered. she's tongue-tied to even say anything. "you're beautiful, lis." jennie said with much confidence and walked closer to lisa. now lisa don't know what to do. they were nervous as heck, but still has the strength to keep things going.

lisa opened the car door and gestured jennie to come in while bowing. "shall we, mademoiselle?" she asked in an italian accent with a curt bow. jennie giggled and patted lisa's cheek. "we shall."

and they rode to their destination.

the chilly wind caressed their skins as they ventured their way to their table. lisa reserved a table for them to a fancy and expensive restaurant with a beautiful view that jennie did not know of.

lisa placed their possession on the table and followed jennie who was already near the railings, admiring the beauty of seoul. and lisa did the same but, she's admiring jennie instead. everything was mute and blurry except jennie and her mutters of awe.

she couldn't believe that she had met this girl, to all the girls in this big world, god gave jennie. and she wouldn't change anything nor trade anything, for she is so fucking blessed to have jennie in her life. jennie made her see the beauty in the world and did things she will never, ever regret. and she is very in love with her, and she would unhesitatingly spend her life and eternity with her.

"let me take a picture of you, love."

and to jennie, lisa is a blessing in disguise. after all the hardships life has brought to her, she managed to go on with life and found herself, and found lisa too. however she denied and ignored her feelings for lisa, she too wished that she was in lisa's embrace, as she is now. she's lisa's world and lisa is her world, and she wouldn't change anything about it, because lisa is her dream. as cheesy as it may sound and even if she says and acts like the opposite of it, she is in love with lisa. only lisa, only the love of her life.

"so beautiful,"

jennie heard it from lisa's lips and blushed. she's getting teary-eyed because of the happiness she is feeling right now, but she tells it's just because of the wind. lisa was slightly taken aback when jennie pulled her and hugged her, so tight but so comfortable and so warm.

jennie muttered something but lisa didn't hear it. the taller caressed jennie's back and kissed her forehead. everything is just filled with so much love and affection that some people swung their heads towards them and smiled at them. everything felt surreal but it was all so real.

and they would not change anything for it. 'cause they have each other.

"remember the first day we met?" lisa asked as she took a sip from her juice. jennie giggled and nodded. "you looked like a lost puppy and i hate to admit it but you were cute." the gaze from jennie's eyes are too much, lisa's melting.

"and when we met again at the dorm you were so grumpy and rude at me," lisa said and pouted. "i have reasons, but you were still cute." lisa chewed the portion of food she ate before speaking. "like what?" she asked. jennie just smiled. "it's a story for another time, babe. you are cute."

jennie giggled while lisa made a face. "jennie you're making my heart flutter so much! stop it but i love it!" lisa squealed. jennie laughed and shook her head. everything is happy. everything is great.

and jennie almost forgot—

"pranpriya manoban," jennie muttered. she held lisa's hand who was resting on the table and squeezed it. 'my eyes are getting wet what will i do?' jennie asked herself and took a deep breath. her heart is beating so fast once again. a tunnel of brown that leads to all the good sensations and jennie would gladly drown in them. "lalisa.."

lisa's feeling it too. she sniffled and gave her a warm smile. "i'm so happy to have you, lisa. i'm so lucky to have you..." she squeezed jennie's hand and smiled again.

"lisa...i'm so in love with you." jennie took a deep breath as a tear rolled down her cheek. she giggled. "i love you. will you be my girlfriend?"

there. she said it. she finally said it.

tears started trailing down lisa's eyes as she bit her lip, and nodded her head. she squeezed jennie's hand tightly and nodded her head once again. "yes, yes, yes jennie. i'm your girlfriend now."

jennie's eyes glistened with tears of joy as she got up and hugged lisa. tears were flowing against their cheeks as they sniffed. everything feels so happy. everything feels great.

"jennie..." lisa is speechless. she tightened her embrace on jennie and jennie kissed her neck. "i'm so in love with you." lisa muttered. "i think i can die happily now," said jennie.

"no no no," lisa disapproved. "we'll graduate and be successful in life and get married, okay?"

jennie laughed. "married? lisa, are you planning on marrying me?" jennie asked with a huge grin on her face.

"who wouldn't want to marry the only kim jennie in this beautiful world?" she teased. "let's say everyone would want to, but you are the only one i would gladly spend my whole life with."

lisa snaked her hands towards jennie's waist and kissed her forehead for a long time whilst closing her eyes. everything is real, jennie's hers and she's jennie's.

"to the love of my life," lisa said softly. doe met cat. jennie snaked her arms around lisa's neck and smiled at her. "i love you."

and there, their lips collided alike their worlds, together in the arms of each other.

and they are finally home.

"you know, i was going to ask you to be my girlfriend but you are just too quick, ruby jane." lisa revealed.

"really?" jennie asked surprised. "why don't you ask me then? i'll act like i know nothing about it,"

"you should be because i spent a lot of time and effort doing this." lisa said. she motioned jennie to sit down and wait. she followed lisa's every move as she suppressed a smile on her face.

"close your eyes, love," lisa whispered in jennie's ear and she obediently followed. she closed her eyes and waited for something to happen.

she hears a background song playing and hummed to it, eyes still closed. her hands were fidgeting as she feels lisa's presence getting closer and closer, the perfume she wore was too strong and her favorite. she loves lisa's scent, smells like home.

"jennie,"

her heart skipped a beat. "open your eyes," lisa whispered.

they are both getting teary-eyed again. jennie just kept on smiling at lisa to prolong the tears that's about to fall again. "lisa..."

"jennie." lisa offered her hand and jennie place it on top of hers, then laced it together. she pulled jennie at the center and jennie just noticed no one was there except for them and some of the workers in the restaurant.

people approached them and each gave roses to jennie. jennie willingly took them in her hands to her arms as she received more and more roses until her arms were filled with it. she gave lisa a questioning look and lisa teasingly shrugged her shoulders. "they're a lot," she remarked.

"roses are the symbol of true love. giving a red rose to someone is lowkey saying you love that person." lisa explained. "there are ninety-nine flowers. and–"

"–i'm the hundredth." jennie cuts her off. lisa grinned. "you're so smart, love."

"be my girlfriend?"

jennie just dropped the roses in her arms and hugged lisa. "yeah, i'm your girlfriend now." lisa hugged her back and kissed her forehead again. "i love you, nini."

jennie kissed lisa's neck. "i love you too, lili."
