《Letting Go | Masahiro Yanagida》Chapter 7

After the party, we're heading back to LA since we planned to celebrate Christmas there. Early morning, we start to pack our things as Haruka, her aide, takes care of the things here.
Mika: "I'll head out first"
Me: "Yeah... ah Mika, you sure you don't ha- Yuki?"
Seeing her frozen in her position as her eyes were on verge of crying and I know all of us here were surprised. No one was expecting this scene.
Yuki: "No... no... I don't know her okay. She may be mistaken me for someone"
Woman: "What are you saying? How could I have mistaken you if we had a great time last night"
Me: "Yuki?"
Mika: "We're going to be late for our flight Masa." - her tone gives me a chill on my spine.
Yuki: "Mika! Wait ... please let me explain"
Mika: "It's nice seeing you again, Yuki" - she smiles before she walks away.
Woman: "Babe? Come on-"
Yuki: "SHUT UP AND LEAVE. I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU AND DON'T EVER COME OR TOUCH ME. I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU OR ELSE I'LL KILL YOU."
Me: "I thought you were going to take her back... Yuki."
Yuki: "Masa... It's not what you think!"
Me: "Nice meeting you again Yuki"
I immediately chase Mika who has already gotten inside the car.
Me: "Mika? Are you-" - When she looked at me, her tears is non-stop falling from her eyes.
Mika: "It's all my fault and it's just the consequences of what I have done Masa"
Me: "Mika... that's not your fault okay." - I pull her into a hug as I caress her back to calm her.
For the next 13 hours, she was just quiet. We don't exchange too much conversation and once we arrived in our apartment in LA, she just head straight to her room. Well, I guess I should give her space cause I think that's what she needs now.

A day will almost end and she was still not getting out of her room. Probably she was hungry right now. I know there's only one food she can't resist. It was chocolate, so I head downtown and bought her a truffle cake and our dinner as well.
After half hour...
Me: "Mika... I bought you a chocolate truffle cake. Can I come in?"
The door wasn't locked and I know she was awake by now.
Me: "Mika, I'm going inside" - as I head inside, she was still under her blankets, curtains still closed, luggage still untouched and I bet she really jump into her bed after we arrived here.
Me: "Mika?" - she looks at me as I seats beside her.
Me: "Let's eat first. I have already brought here the food"
Mika: "I-I'll just take a bath first I guess." - She gets up and start to pull her luggage to her closet.
Me: "Okay, just take your time..." *smiles*
Once she starts grooming herself, I start to prepare the foods I bought. I open the curtains since her room has the best spot of the sun setting beneath the city. I decided to lay on her bed as I browse my phone and just wait for her.
Mika: "I'm done. Sorry for the wait."
Me: "It's okay. Now let's eat" *smiles*
Mika: "Thank you for the cake"
Me: "We'll know you will not resist it"
Mika: *chuckles* "It's just you know" *chuckles*
Me: "Are you okay now?"
She looks at the view of her room, the hue of the sky was reflected in her eyes before she answers me.
Mika: "There's nothing I can do right now. I was the one who decided to get involved with him even though I know the fact that I cannot stay longer with him. It's just the consequence of my actions and decisions"

I didn't dare to speak now since I don't want to make things more complicated.
Mika: "But still thank you Masa."
Me: "It's okay Mika. Btw Taka said that they will arrive tomorrow evening here"
Mika: "AH yeah.. It almost slips my mind about that. I guess I should fix my room for their stay here"
Me: "I'll help you with that"
Mika: "Nah... I can do it since it just need a little magic though" *chuckles*
Me: "Okay okay just don't overdo it. Your wounds remember." *smile*
Mika: "Yes sire, that was noted" *chuckles*
Me: "Just take a good rest now and your medicine don't forget"
Mika: "Yes sir"
Me: "Good night" - I give her a peck on her forehead before I head back to my room.
Mika: "You too" *smiles*
I guess tomorrow will be a hectic day for both of us.
