《Saeran x reader~ Clubs Equals Love》The One That Caught My Interest

Another day. Another same old day.
I don't know why, but each night I find myself at the same old club by myself.
As I looked around, all I saw were drunk guys and girls dancing, flirting and drunk.
Disgusting whores.
I hated everything about those slutty girls.
I wasn't in the mood to get drunk like last time.
I smirked as I remembered the last time I got drunk. Saeyoung was furious. I didn't get home til 3:00 am in morning and he didn't allow me to leave the house until I promised I would get home by midnight each day.
I looked down at my wine-filled glass and brought it up to my lips. As I began to sip the red liquid, my eyes trailed around the room until it landed on a familiar woman.
I sighed loudly and I frowned as I put my glass down.
"What do you want?" I say rather coldly to her and she smiled.
"Just thought you'd like some company Saeran."
"Leave me alone bitch, or I'll make sure you'll regret it"
She stood there before smiling again and sat down beside me.
Ugh. What's wrong with her?
I wasn't bothered to deal with her, so I ignored her as she began talking and flirting with me. I held up my wine glass and took another sip as I closed my eyes in an attempt to calm my anger as she leaned her body against mine.
When I opened one eye, I noticed another woman had walked into the club. She perked my interest and I opened both eyes to look at her.
She was quite pretty with (e/c) eyes, (h/c) hair and (s/c) skin.
I raised an eyebrow as she sat opposite where I sat. She gave me a glance before ordering her drink. When our eyes met, I couldn't help but look away immediately.

What the hell? Why is my heart beating so fast?
I looked to my side and remembered that the bitch was still beside me glaring at the woman opposite us.
I rolled my eyes and began taking more sips of my drink.
{hours has passed}
I rested my head on my hand as I continued to give the woman opposite me glances.
She looks tired
She looked around the room before she suddenly stood up. As she began to pay for her drink and walking out of the club, I immediately sat up straight.
I stood up as well and the bitch next to me questioned, "Saeran? Where are you going? It's still early. Stay a little longer"
"No. Keep your mouth fucking shut. Never come near me again bitch" I spat at her and she flinched and ran away.
Now... where did the girl go?
I began searching around the area for the girl.
It wasn't too hard to find her, she was sitting on the bench, her eyes closed as she breathed heavily.
I walked up to her, and her eyes immediately snapped open.
"H-huh? W-who are you?!"
I laughed as she slightly tilted her head questioningly.
"That's not important. I'm here to ask why someone like you would wander around this area by yourself. It's quite a dangerous world out here." I warned and she blinked in confusion
"I-I'm Sorry?! I can look after myself, thank you very much!"
She's a stubborn one.
I rolled my eyes and looked down at her.
"We'll see about that" I say as I grabbed onto her arm and yanked her towards me.
"Can you protect yourself from me?"
She struggled and pushed against me as I brought her to my chest
"Let me fucking go!"
I raised an eyebrow as she began cursing at me.

"Hey. You might want to keep that mouth of yours shut" I say warningly and she immediately shut her mouth.
"So... answer my question. Can you protect yourself from me?"
She shut her eyes closed and she began shaking her head.
"No. No, I can't. Please let me go!"
I laughed as I let her body go, but still kept my grip on her wrist In case she decided to run away.
"Let go of my wrist too!"
"No. Now listen up. It's a dangerous world out here. Now come on. Where's your home?"
Her eyes widen for a second before she frowned and yelled, "let go of me! I can get home myself!"
Obviously, she doesn't want me to know where she lives.
"What did I say about shutting that mouth of yours?"
I say harshly and she immediately stopped talking.
"Fine" she mumbled and I smiled
"Good. Now hurry up"
As we began walking side by side, I noticed she would glance at me from time to time.
I checked my watch and realized it was 1:00 am.
Shit. Saeyoung isn't going to like this
...
"_____..." she said after a while
I looked over at her confusingly, "What?!"
"Uh... that's... my name." She said and I nodded.
_____... that's a nice name.
I gave her a glance and noticed how red her face was.
I smirked as I looked down and continued walking.
"Can I get your name too?" _____ asked as she looked away in embarrassment.
I looked at her surprised, feeling a blush starting to form on my cheeks but immediately looked away so she wouldn't see it.
"Saeran"
"Saeran... nice to meet you Saeran" _____ say shyly and I nodded while saying, "yep. Nice to meet you too"
She abruptly stopped in the middle of the path and turned to look at me.
"Uh... I think I can get home from here."
"Are you sure?" I say and she gave me a smile while nodding.
"Fine" I muttered and she bowed her head.
"Thank you Saeran"
As she began to take steps away I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me.
"Eh?!" She says as I jerked her chin up to look at me in the eyes.
"But... I thought y-" I stopped her sentence as I brought a finger to her lips.
"Now listen up. Meet me at that park tomorrow at 12:00 pm. Got it?" I say as I pointed to the park to our left.
Her eyes widen and she didn't respond for a while.
I was about to force her words out, until she stutters, "s-sure. S-see you there Saeran"
I smirked as I let go of her hand.
She immediately put her hand to her chest as she mutters a 'goodbye' before turning around and making her way back home.
I stood there waiting for her to disappear behind the corners before turning to make my own way home.
Why did I care for her? What makes her any different from any other girls?"
I shook my head as I entered the house, only to find Saeyoung's worried expression.
I smirked as I ignored all of Saeyoung's yells and lectures.
As I placed my hands into my pocket, I couldn't help but think back to _____.
Well. This is about to get interesting.

Journeys in the Fairworld: The Gatekeeper
Lindsey Fluger was only slightly past eighteen. There was nothing particularly special about her, save that she happened to be the right person at the right time. When Lindsey is asked to join an expedition to another world she makes the mistake of saying yes, plunging herself into a sea of perilous adventure and dark intrigue. Journeys in the Fairworld is a fantasy anthology series set in The Fairworld, a magical realm existing in parallel with our own world which is governed by a group elfin beings known only as “The Good Folk”. These mysterious entities work in secret to keep the peace between the myriad of peoples and nations which dwell in The Fairworld. Complex relationships and bitter rivalries emerge against a backdrop of constrained resources and conflicting values to produce a world of high adventure and tangled mysteries. This novel is technically already completed, and I am currently in the final stages of proofing or editing. As such, there may be a few typos and errors here and there. The final version should be about 130,000 words long, which I will be releasing in stages as I continue editing. I'd love to hear your feedback and comments!
