《Sᴛʀᴇssғᴜʟ Sʜᴏᴡ - RᴜɪKᴀsᴀ - EN》CHAPTER 1

I heard my alarm clock go off. I opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling. I don't feel like going to class, I'd rather stay under my comforter.
But I have to get up anyway! It's not worthy of a future star to be depressed in his room! Come on, get up!
I got up from my precious bed and opened the curtains. I was surprised to see snow, it's only the beginning of December.
I heard Saki knocking on the door:
"Big brother! You'll be late, hurry up!"
I looked at the time on my phone. I spent all this time to revise? Nooo! I just remembered that Rui and Nene were supposed to wait for me in front of Kamiyama Street! And I have a test first thing in the morning!
I quickly put on my uniform, checked to make sure I had my classes, grabbed my bentō and thanked my sister before running to the meeting point.
I arrived on time. Rui waved at me.
"Hi!" I said with a big smile.
"Hey."
We walked to the school together. I would be lying if I said I wasn't tired of my own self-centeredness. I force myself anyway, this wouldn't be the Tsukasa they know so well. A me who loses his big smile without even a clear reason is not me.
We arrived at class on time and I headed to my classroom. The groups of students had already formed to whisper incomprehensible things into my ears. I would have been sure to hear a ruckus coming from the classroom before I got there, though. Anyway, I didn't really care.
I sat down in my seat and the bell rang. The teacher arrived shortly after and handed out the topics before telling us to start. I didn't understand a thing. Aren't they tired of always looking for something more complicated? We don't give a damn about equations with multiple unknowns, it's useless. Especially to become a big star!

I wish I had the intelligence of Rui! And he knows all about science! No formula or program escapes him! I envy him!
The test ended, I had only filled a quarter of the sheet. Too bad, I'll do better next time.
The other classes of the morning went on normally. Then came the lunch break, where I took my things and went to join my friends.
We ate quietly, laughing about Rui's bullshit in his old school, while he took the opportunity to give us his vegetables. We were desperate and laughing at the same time.
"At what point do you say to yourself, I'm going to build a drone and send it into the teachers' lounge to photograph the subjects for the next tests-"
"Too bad my plan was screwed up!"
"Irredeemable."
"Gotta do it again!!!" I tossed.
"Are you suicidal?"
Rui is unusually cheerful today.
And it was time to go back to class. The same routine. And a few hours later, class was over. I quickly put away the stuff and ran to the amusement park. Rui and Nene had finished early, so I didn't have to wait for them.
I arrived at the Wonder Stage and we all started to rehearse for our next show. Rui has his head in the clouds, I wonder what he is thinking about. This one ends up taking me by the shoulders.
"Tsukasa, what's wrong with you today?"
"What? What do you mean?"
"You are not in your normal state.
"You're wrong! I'm fine! Why wouldn't I be? Everything is smiling on me!"
I admit that it hurts me to lie. But maybe if I just say that I'll get better, and all without them worrying. Especially since I don't think there's a specific reason.

"Tsukasa, I'm serious, stop acting tough."
I have a sudden urge to vomit. What should I do? I started to panic inside and ended up running to the nearest trash can to throw up. What's wrong with me?
I watched in the distance as Rui talked with Emu and Nene. They don't seem to be smiling. It's my fault they are not happy right now. It's my fault that Rui is so worried. It seems to me that he finally told them to go home, because he waved his hand and they left afterwards. He then started walking towards me. Damn, I feel like crying now. Well, I'll hold it in as best I can.
"Tsukasa. I know you're not well. We'll talk about it at my place."
"No need, I'm fine I tell you!"
He took me by the arm anyway to take me to his house. At first, I struggled like a child, but I ended up following him gently to his house.

Heya!
I know, the anxiety comes quickly! And this is just the beginning!
I also plan to write a chapter from Saki's point of view. And I have some pretty dramatic events planned!
On that note, byyye!

Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.

The Virtue of a Starless Sky
Days have turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into long years without a single sign from the Heavens above. The mythical immortals that once protected the world of Oseo have seemingly vanished in the wake of a mysterious phenomenon that occurred only recently — the startling disappearance of a large portion of the night sky and, with it, the gradual decline of Spiritual Qi.In a steadily decaying era where cultivation is becoming increasingly difficult to practice, vast empires, ancient Societies, and powerful organizations have all begun to fight to secure the last remaining Spirit Stone mines and Spiritual Qi leylines across the world. There is little hope for peace now that the final century of cultivation has dawned on Oseo, but to Laude Tellstar, a simple mortal farmer, none of that mattered. As an ordinary mortal who had no interest in the world of cultivation, Laude had considered him exempt from the fearsome conflict raging across Oseo until he was forcibly drawn into the fray one fateful day… by a single, stray bolt of lightning. After that, his life was never the same again. Dragged into a dying world of cultivation, Laude’s journey to expunge his cultivation base and return to mortalhood will take him across Oseo and into the shadow of a heavenly conspiracy so monumental that it could endanger all of Oseo and beyond…

Neophyte: Common Route
A story about self-discovery, interpersonal relationships, magic and magical creatures-- and a silent war. Marsha is about seven years past adulthood and still feels like a scared child in her parents' home. This is exacerbated when she discovers her father has apparently keyed up his destructive, sadistic habits-- leading to a mad dash out of the house with precious cargo in tow and only one idea where to go. This begins her journey, leading to a discovery that will change her life forever. And she never wants to go back. (Warnings: Lots of descriptions of abusive, sadistic and otherwise traumatizing and triggering behavior that a parent perpetuated toward a child or multiple children. Descriptions of violence, a main character with emotional issues that will be dealt with, and a whole lot of the 'aftermath' of battles in a war. Even a few descriptions of some of those battles. Things of that nature. If you can't handle one of those, please do not read.) {I had this idea to write a 'common route' and then 'romance routes' like they do in otomes? Book 1 is the common route, and then at book 2, you choose your love interest. Each of which is encased in their own book.}
