𝙄𝙏 𝙒𝘼𝙎 𝙎𝙉𝙊𝙒𝙄𝙉𝙂. Not like a light snow, it was heavy. There was a gigantic storm coming from the middle of the farm. We all got out of the car. "Boy, am I glad I brought a coat," I muttered, tightening the black fabric around my shoulders. "You think whatever's going on inside is causing the cold front?" Diego shouted over the weather. "Well, the correlation is high," Five responded. Suddenly, a blonde woman with a brown jacket walked out the farm. She held a gun.
"Sissy! Sissy!" Vanya yelled at her. The lady, Sissy, loaded the gun. "Get back! All of you, just get the hell back!"
"Hey! Hey! What's wrong?" Vanya asked. "Carl," Sissy muttered. "What did he do to you?" Vanya questioned. "He's...He's dead," She replied. "Harlan tossed him aside like a rag doll, same way you sent those policemen flyin'. What did you do to him?"
"No-"
"Vanya, what the hell did you do to my son?"
"We don't have time for this," Diego stated and tried to walk towards the farm. "Where do you think you're going?" Sissy pointed the rifle at him. "To help your son," Diego reasoned. "Look, Sissy, I found my family. These are my brothers and my sisters," Vanya told her.
Luther waved at her. "Ma'am." Sissy looked at us in disbelief. "Were you lyin' to me the whole time?" She asked. "Of course not. Look, I didn't know who I was. But I do now. And we are not the monsters that they say we are. We did not kill the president. We are not terrorists. We're not here to hurt anyone," Vanya said.
"Then...who are you?"
"The only one who can help Harlan."
Hearing this, Sissy nodded and decided to let us into the farm. Vanya threw open the door and stumbled inside. "Harlan! Harlan, it's Vanya!" Right in the eye of the hurricane, there was a little boy. He was suspended in midair, struggling to keep whatever was happening under control. "Look, Harlan, I know you're really scared, but I can help you. I need you to listen to me, okay? Can you do that?" Vanya tried. He was still writhing around but Sissy nodded at her.
Vanya activated her powers and walked in. "Careful," Five shouted after her. "Harlan, I don't know if you can hear me..."
"Uh, guys!" Klaus shouted at us. "What?" Diego responded, walking to the door. The rest of us followed. "Ah, shit," Diego exclaimed. "What, who are they?" Klaus asked. "One's the Handler-"
"-the other's Diego's girlfriend," I completed for Five. "Lila, that's my ex-girlfriend," Diego interrupted. "You know what? Doesn't matter. They both look angry," Luther said.
"Yeah, well, our brother has that effect on people," Allison remarked. "Alright, I'm gonna go find out what they want. You guys stay here with Vanya and the kid," Five tried. "I'm coming with you too, come on," Diego added. Five looked to me. "Alright, let's go," I said, following them out.
The Handler chuckled as we approached her. "I love the smell of that fresh country air, don't you, darling?"
"Makes me want to vomit."
"What do you want?" Five asked. "To watch you suffer," Lila responded. "What about me?"
Lila turned to Diego. "You're not even worth my wrath." We were all shocked at the answer. "Easy," The Handler commanded. "We're here on official business," She told us. "And what business is that?" I asked her.

"As the head of the Commission, I've decided to eliminate the criminals responsible for the assassination of the former board directors," she stated. Five and I looked at each other nervously. "Yeah, right. We didn't kill the board," Diego scoffed.
"Uh. actually, Diego, that's not entirely accurate," Five interrupted. Diego looked at us in disbelief. "You two didn't tell them," The Handler observed. "Oh, Five and (Y/N)."
"What the hell did you two do?" Diego leaned over and asked. "What we had to, to get our family home," I replied. "Until somebody reneged on our deal," Five completed looking at the Handler. "Somebody wouldn't have reneged if somebody could've met a simple deadline. Alas."
"You set us up to fail," I pointed out. "You set yourself up to fail, friends," She responded. "You and your brothers and sisters. Kinda the running theme of your little life, isn't it?" She chuckled.
"Dude, I can't believe you guys killed the board of directors. You have no idea how messed up the Commission is right now," Diego whisper-shouted. "Messed up? Who's saying that?" The Handler asked, suddenly interested in the conversation after hearing a critique.
"Everybody. Christ, even the janitors think it's going to shit."
"That's not all he killed," Lila interrupted, looking at Five. "What are you talking about?" He asked. "Don't play dumb, you prepubescent piece of shit."
"Enough. The point is, all of you are going to die today. Hmm?"
"Oh. Well, I don't like your chances. Eight of us, two of you," Diego stated.
"You know, you're right. Let's change that."
She snapped her fingers and suddenly hundreds, maybe even thousands of agents appeared behind her. They all cocked their guns.
"Holy shit."
"So what do we do now?"
"Well, we got two choices: fight and die now or run and die later. Either way we're food for worms," Five explained. "Preference?" Diego questioned. "Wouldn't mind a few more minutes breathing air through the old windbags."
"All right. Let's get this over with, shall we?" The Handler butted in, raising a red handkerchief.
"Run!"
I started sprinting. At least this time I had better shoes. Guns were firing everywhere, yet we somehow managed to dodge the hellfire of bullets. "We're not gonna make it!" Diego shouted. Five grabbed his shoulder and shouted, "(Y/N), you know what to do!"
"What are you doing!"
Both of us teleported and landed further away. We continued to sprint. "Five, I think I'm gonna puke."
"No time!"
We managed to make it behind a big red tractor. There were so many bullets. "What now?" Five asked. "We blink into the house, man!" Diego shouted back. Five tried to grab both of us, but nothing happened. "What?" Diego questioned. "Shit, I'm out of fuel. I'm too tired."
"(Y/N)?"
"Five saw what happened the last time I tried to travel with someone else. I don't think it'll be any better with two people!" I yelled. "Go! I'll...I'll cover for you two," Diego said, getting up from behind the tractor. "Diego, what are you-"
"Go!" He told us. We started to run. I looked behind and saw him redirecting the bullets. That's my Diego.
Five and I made it to the house. We threw open the door as Five directed me to hide under a table. He huddled together and covered our heads.
"I love you!"

"What?"
"(Y/N), if we die, I want you to know I love you! I know we've had a disagreement these last few hours but I had to tell you!" Five yelled. "I love you too!"
The gunfire raged on, the noise unbearably loud, when something broke through it. A low ringing, a sound I felt resonate deep within my soul. Vanya.
There was a bright light and I felt the ground shake.
The bullets ceased.
Five and I got up from our spot under the table and looked out the window to see what was happening. So many people lay dead on the floor. Except for two. Encased in a blue shield was Lila and The Handler.
The Handler told her something and she started to raise off the ground. What? Her eyes were white. She looked...like Vanya. "Get cover!" Five said, pulling me back under the table.
Lila released her own blast, knocking the rest of us back. I watched Luther fall through the roof. "Luther, you all right?" Five asked. "Ohh, I think I swallowed my tongue," He groaned.
"Luther, if you swallowed your tongue, you wouldn't be talking, you big moron. Come on, on your feet," Five instructed, helping him stand. "Hey, what the hell happened? What was that?" Luther asked.
"She must've redirected Vanya's energy wave," I tried to explain. "Yeah, I know, but how?"
"Luther, (Y/N), watch out!" Suddenly Five was pushing both of us away. I watched as a pile of bricks landed on top of him. "Five!" Luther and I began to dig away. I heard a blink noise. Lila was here. I quickly hid behind the door, I feel like I had an advantage I needed to keep secret. "What are you?" Luther asked.
"Someone who wants to kill your brother."
"Well, that's understandable. Diego can be a lot to handle," Luther said. "Yeah, I was talking about Five," Lila responded.
"Him, too."
"But unfortunately, they're family, so you're shit out of luck." Luther tried to throw a punch at her but was stopped. He grunted. "How is this possible?" He kept trying to push. "Gotta believe in yourself big boy," she pushed him and he was launched out the side of the house.
I snuck out the door, standing to the side and trying to figure out what to do. She could copy our powers. It seemed like she couldn't hold too many at once, because she would've used Vanya's again. They're strong. So, if I were to come at her with my weaker power, I could bring out my shadows and surprise her. Sounds like a plan. I walked out from the side.
"Hey!"
Lila turned to me. Allison was on the floor, choking on nothing. Luther was helping. But I was more focused on the woman in front of me. "Ah, (Y/N). I really liked you, y'know?"
"I did too. So, do you wanna tell me what Five did?" I asked, approaching her carefully. "You might wanna ask him yourself." She quickly threw a punch at me, which I dodged. I need to bring out the mediumship first. I'm not sure how much she'll be able to control those powers. I focused as well as I could while giving and receiving kicks, and summoned one dead soldier.
Lila scoffed. "How basic." I watched her hands turn blue as three other soldiers appeared behind her. "Well, you see, that's where we're different. I can actually maintain two powers." I traveled behind her.
"Come and get me."
I raised three more soldiers. "Attack," I commanded. And suddenly I was next to Lila again. I punched her in the face. She turned and tried to catch me, but I was too fast. I delivered a kick to her gut and called a soldier over to hold her down. She struggled to summon more but couldn't do it. "Yeah, that power is a bit of tricky one without much practice," I chuckled. "Okay, time to say goodnight."
I tried draining her, but something was slowing me down. I was tired. This was going to take awhile. Time to make conversation.
"So, since when were you The Handler's daughter?" I asked. "Since I was young. She found me after...your little friend killed my parents."
I stopped. "He did what?"
"You looking for me?"
I turned my head to the hole in the wall. "Five?" Lila took my moment of shock to break free and launch a soldier at me. "Shit!" He knocked me to the ground, and then faded away, along with the one holding her down. My head hit the floor pretty hard. My vision and hearing started fading in and out. "You little turd."
"Let's dance."
I heard Five and Lila poof away. Allison was still struggling with Luther next to me. What if I just lay here? I think I deserve a little nap after all of that.
"Oh, shit. Come on. (Y/N)! Get up!" Luther's voice brought me out of my daze. He helped me up and grabbed my hand, running towards the sound of Diego's cries. "Hey! What took you so long?"
"Well, we're here now. Do you wanna stop complaining?" Luther quipped. "Or, if you prefer, we could just leave you here," Klaus interjected. "What he said," Allison agreed.
"Does everything in this family have to be a discussion?" Vanya asked, looking worriedly into the farm. "Yeah, it probably does," I replied.
Luther and Klaus lifted the tractor. "Go, go, go, go," Allison told Diego, helping him move. "Are you out?" Luther asked. "Yeah!" Diego shouted back. Luther grunted and dropped the tractor back down. "Team Zero! Unstoppable!" He yelled. "All right."
"Has anyone seen Five?" Allison asked. "I don't know, I think he's around here somewhere," Luther replied. "I think he might be inside, I'm not sure," I responded.
"By the way, your ex-girlfriend can blink like Five," Luther told Diego. "Yeah, that bitch rumored me so I couldn't breathe," Allison added.
"And destroyed, like, half the farm with a shock wave. So unoriginal."
"If she can do everything we can do, she might as well just be one of us," Vanya noted. "Yeah," Luther chuckled in agreement and then realized. "No. No, there's no way. It can't be."
"It's a reasonable conclusion," Allison shrugged. "Eh, but there were only eight of us," Klaus tried. "Maybe we need to consider that there's more of us out there," Vanya stated. "Are we surprised? I mean Dad never told us the whole truth about anything."
"But she's not our biological sister...right?"
We all stared at Diego. "Of course not, dipshit. None of us are biological siblings either."
"Okay, so, if she can mirror our powers, that means anything we throw at her, she can match, right?" Luther asked. "Yeah, but she can only mirror one of our powers at a time," Klaus said. "You sure about that?" Allison asked.
"I mean, I came at her with both my shadows and Klaus's abilities. I don't know if it was the shock or her abilities that limited her from mirroring them," I told them.
"But that isn't the issue right now. We need to find Five, he could still be fighting Lila. Let's go to the barn." I led everyone to the door. We heard the end of Five and Lila's conversation.
"Never cared about your parents. She was looking for you."
"Why?" Lila whispered.
"'Cause you're one of us."
