"Alarm, Alarm! Prisoner thirteen have escaped! I repeat, prisoner thirteen have escaped!"
Alarms went off in every corner, gates slammed shut, every door there is locked themselves because of the alarm.
Guards and prisoners turned their heads to see what is going on, they all exchanged a terrified look, they all know who escaped, which is no good news.
G.U.N forces ran inside the building, armed with weapons.
The prisoner can not escape this prison. They have to catch the person before it is too late.
"Update, prisoner thirteen is in corridor six! I repeat, prisoner thirteen is in corridor six!" The radio went crazy.
All G.U.N forces ran towards corridor six, hoping to catch the prisoner there.
The soldiers caught something orange moving in the corridor, they all aimed their weapons to the target, shouting; "You are surrounded by G.U.N! Hands up and surrender, or else we will open fire!"
The prisoner stopped in his tracks and slightly moved his head to look at the soldiers behind him. He have ran into a trap, the only way out is where the soldiers stand.
"So nice of you to drop by"
The prisoner talked back at them, avoiding their commands.
"Hands in the air, I repeat, hands in the air!" A soldier shouted.
Which caused a smile on the muzzle of this prisoner. "Do I have to?"
He turned around, revealing having a gas mask on, but obeyed, raising his hands in the air, but the soldiers weren't that easily fooled once they saw an object the prisoner's right hand.
That looks like a small bottle filled with something...
"Drop what you have in your hand!" Another soldier shouted, the others slowly approaching him.
His smile widened. "Alright, I hope you like clean Nitrogen"
The soldiers gasped is fright as he dropped the bottle, the glass breaking on impact, causing clean Nitrogen to fill the room.
"Toodles idiots!" The prisoner flied over them and ran towards the exit.
"Alarm, alarm! Turning on air cleaning!" The air conditioners turned on around the base, slowly cleaning the air, but most of the G.U.N soldiers were already dead by breathing in too much Nitrogen.

A few minutes went by, prison cops is running their feet off by trying to find the escaped prisoner. Even the other prisoners hoped they would find him.
The speakers turned slowly on, a painful noise scratching everyones ears before a voice spoke;
"Update, Miles Prower has escaped... I repeat, Miles Prower has escaped..."
X
"I, Sally Acorn speak live on Mobious news as it now appears that prisoner Miles Prower has escaped from Angel Island prison, this afternoon. Throughout his escape it also appears that twenty-four G.U.N soldiers were killed with a powerful amount of clean Nitrogen gas-"
The news reportef kept on talking as a blue hedgehog listened and watching the screen in visible confusion.
"Who is Miles Prower?"
He asked his friends who watched in disbelief from the news. When no one answered, the hedgehog looked behind and around himself.
He faked a cough, catching their attention.
"Who is Miles?" He asked again.
"Wait, you don't know?" A young cream and orange colored rabbit asked.
"Miles Prower is like the most dangerous, clever and insane person on Mobious. He is a world known criminal and was put in prison because he caused the death of more than one thousand people" A pink hedgehog with shoulder long quills spoke, also known as Amy Rose.
"Well, shit" Sonic mumbled. "So the whole world is in danger now?"
"Didn't you hear it? He just killed twenty-four soldiers he escaped prison!" Amy said terrified, hands up in the air.
Sonic's six spikes shot a little up in the air from getting the chills. "Twenty-four G.U.N soldiers! Awh man..."
"Looks like G.U.N haven't given up completely though" A red echidna pointed at the television screen, as everyone looked and saw a live interview of a soldier.
"We will not give up our search on Miles Prower before he is found, but we will also make sure the citizens of Mobious are safe as well. Therefore we will place multible G.U.N soldiers around the city-"

"Well seeing multiple armed soldiers around the city looking suspiciously at every single citizen sure must feel safe..." A silver colored hedgehog slurped on his slushie, commenting what the soldier said.
"I agree with Silver, it must be a little frightening to know that a criminal is on the loose, but placing armed soldiers around the city?" Blaze, a purple female cat agreed with Silver. Leaning against the wall beside him.
"The soldiers just wants what is best for us. It's not like they are there to harm the citizens... right?" Cream, the rabbit commenting Silver and Blaze.
Who walked in the living room with a bowl of newbaked cookies and placed them on the table in front of the couch. Sonic didn't hesitate in eating one straight ahead, earning a burned tongue from the remaining heat.
"Let's just hope that they will find Miles soon.."
Everyone nodded at Cream's statement, but Sonic have a weird feeling that capturing Miles is going to be harder than people think...
X
"W-Wait! W-What are you- AAAAH!!" A male cat screamed in pain as an orange colored fox injected a liquid in his arm.
"Don't worry, it'll be over soon~" He smiled, watching the male twist and turn in pain, his face wide with that one expression. Fright.
He screamed for a few minutes, before he went completely silent. Everything in the room was nothing but a silent hush.
Miles smiled, looking at the shriveled body in front of him.
"Hm, good enough for a first try... but there is something missing!" He shouted as he threw the syringe to the ground, hearing the satisfying sound of glass breaking on impact.
"What can I possibly add to this liquid that will make the body... dissolve. Dissolve! That's it!" He shouted in realization.
"How can I be so dumb! It's so simple!"
He smiled and started to write down ideas on a piece of paper. Acid, snake poison, alcohol with a question mark, but that was the furthest of ideas he have at the moment.
His ears flickered to the sound of sirens, he looked behind him and saw blue and red lights outside of the window.
"Why must they always ruin my fun..?" He mumbled under his breath, grabbing his paper and started making his way towards his planned escape route.
"Oh! I can't forget my signature~" He smiled as he slid on his glove, looking back at the corpse with a smirk.
"Freeze!" The police kicked the door open, several men ran inside with flashlights and guns pointing in all directions.
"No one is here sir, but we found something else, come" One of the policemen took the leader through a broken door and into what looks like a bedroom. The main police officer sighed and picked up his communicator.
"This is police officer Espio speaking, we have found what looks like a crime scene, is this detective Vector I am speaking to? Over"
Espio, a purple chameleon, walked over to the dead body lying on the bed with a frightening look. Looking carefully at everything around him.
"Don't move or pick up anything before the detectives have arrived" He told the other officers who nodded, walking out of the house to surround the area so no one else would come in.
"This is detective Vector speaking, please specify the location and time you found the crime scene and we will be on our way, over"
Espio heard the communicator reply to his message and immediatly walked towards the other officers to deliver as much information as possible to the detectives.
He retrieved the information he got from the officers and passed it over to Vector. He said the following;
"The location is the following, deep within Mystic ruins, a house not so far away from a big lake formed as a circle. The person who has been killed appears to be a purple cat with the name, Big"

Fates Parallel is my first serious attempt at writing a story, and a personal love letter to Eastern fantasy and xianxia stories. It's heavily inspired by East Asian culture, folklore, and mythology, with what is likely going to be a decidedly Western artistic license. I try to write every day, with a goal of about 45,000 words per month (~1500 per day). Chapter lengths are around 3000 words on average, releasing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Cover art drawn by the incredibly talented Tsuu (TsurotArtistry).

Our Chaoz; Our Reality (Completed)
Everyone has their own reasons, be it past events, personality or simply company. But most at some point divulge themselves into videogaming, be it for entertainment or more compettitive reasons. In this year and age there are many genres of gaming, one specific genre though still holds on tight to the ledge it was pushed to trying to pull itself back up. MMORPGs were once the top of everybody's list, adventure, combat, storytelling and endless grind in one single game. It was a different life for most, as if a parallel world to our own. You could be a knight indulging yourself in combat, a mage expertly crafting spells of mass destruction or creation. A ranger exploring the land and hunting down prey, an assassin completing contracts and hording the spoils. A troll scamming children out of their hard earned 10 gold and making more hardcore players rage quit for the day. Or something else. Kyle was a simple player, he always picked the strangest classes or jobs and his characters almost looked the same. He played for the combat, he played for the grind and he played for his guild but above all he played for the story. Kyle is a roleplayer, one who enjoys the simple parts of this virtual life. Whether his guild was starting a war or ending one he'd always have his drammatic entrence or exit, his decleration of annihalition or demand of surrender. After all that? He divulged himself in the game's story, the interaction with NPCS (Non Player Characters) and their advanced AI. He went through many questlines, many tales of heroics and many more adventurers of legend but one thing always remained true with his character. Kyle absolutely loved to the play the villain. But when game turns reality, what will he and his guild of twisted personalities do?
