I stared at my reflection in the water in front of me. I looked a total mess. My hair was all over the place and I had ugly scratches all over my face. Sakura said I had passed out after I calmed Sasuke down. I moved my bang out of my face.

"Shadow clone fishing jutsu! Bombs away!!"

I gasped as I felt a whole bunch of water splash onto me. I looked in front of me to see a whole bunch of Naruto's. He was wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and Sasuke was just standing on the edge of the water.

"Nana! You got me wet!" I whined, squeezing the water out of my hair.

"Hehe! Sorry Kitsune!" Naruto said. I watched four fish fly out of the water and Sasuke pinned them to a tree. Naruto resurfaces, gasping for air.

"Well, come on is that it? I only got four, so do it again" commanded Ducky. Naruto glared at Sasuke.

"WHAT!" Naruto exclaimed, letting out some growling noise.

"I could eat four fish myself" smirked Sasuke. I thought I saw Naruto's face turn red and smoke flying out of his nose.

" WELL IF YOU THINK IT'S SO EASY! YOU GET WET AND I STAND ON THE SHORE!!" Naruto yelled, smashing his fist in the water.

"Sasuke! The fire's ready to light! I could use one of your fireballs!" exclaimed Sakura.

Sasuke let out a grunt, "I have to do everything around here"

I watched him walk away and I walked over to where he was once standing. Naruto was throwing a small fit, I laughed.

"Alright blondey, how about I help" I suggested.

"No Kitsune! You just woke up not so long ago" Naruto said

I rolled my eyes, and pulled off my boots. Naruto climbed out of the water and grabbed my boots.

"No you're putting these boots back on" Naruto commanded.

"When did you become my father?" I asked crossing my arms.

"KITSUNE I AM TELLING YOU! PUT THESE BOOTS BACK ON!" Naruto playfully yelled at me. I grew an irk mark!

"NO! I'M A REBEL!!" I exclaimed. I grabbed Naruto's hand and jumped back into the water.

"Now let's do some fishing!"

I stared at the fire in front of me. I listened to the cracking of the flames as my squad and I sat around it. My eyes were glazing on the fish cooking.

"It's already been four days since the second exam started." Sasuke said.

"That's right" Sakura agreed.

"We're sure not going to break any records. We only have 24hrs left" Sasuke stated.

"I wonder how many other teams already have their scrolls and finished" Sakura said.

We each got a cooked fish kabob and started eating. I smiled at the taste of the fish. I haven't had fish like this in ages.

"We have to face it. There may not be any Heaven scroll left" Sakura said. I glanced over at her.

"That's a cheerful thought" Sasuke scarcity stated.

"Maybe so, but it's true." Sakura began, "Look you said it yourself Sasuke. This is the four day that we have been out here. So that means we've already used up 80% of the total exam time. Only thirteen teams can pass can pass since there are only thirteen pairs of-"

I began to doze off. She was talking way too much for my liking. I took another bite out of my fish when I thought she was done talking.

"Yeah, I remember" Sasuke nodded. I tilted my head, what did she say?

"The number of complete pairs was reduced by one right there. Not to mention the other scrolls which have been collected since then" said Sakura.

"Maybe we gave ourselves a little bit too much time to relax and heal. From our last fight. I don't know, but what I do know, is that we got to get serious now and make up for lost time" Sasuke said.

I watched Sasuke slowly stand up, "The next enemy that we see maybe our last chance."

"Ducky where you goin?" I asked.

"I'm going to get water" With that Sasuke walked away. I watched him disappear.

"Hey guys!" Naruto said. Sakura and I looked at him, "I know how to do this without fighting anyone"

Naruto held the scroll in his hand. He turned his pouch over and three other scrolls fell out.

"Look at what?" I asked.

"What do you mean look at what. I have a lot of scrolls, manual of ninjutsu

and stuff like that. If we tweak this a little and change it into exactly like a Heaven scroll!" Naruto explained.

"Stop! Don't even" Sakura said, with her palm raised.

"Why not, it is actually a smart plan" I stated.

"Even if you did such a thing, you don't know what's written on the inside! You couldn't know because reading the scroll is against the rules. Idiot!" Sakura said.

"I've got it all figured out! I think these scrolls have a secret code written on them which makes sense to put them both together!" Naruto grinned at his calculations. "Yeah! To pass at the tower all we need is the secret code! Believe it!"

"All i get is you're a nimrod. We've never had a Heaven scroll so how are we going to fake what's inside!" Sakura yelled. I bonked her on the head.

"No need to yell at him. He's the only one coming up with ideas" I said. Sakura glared at me.

The Naruto said that he was going to open the scroll. Sakura hit him in the head and yelled at him because it was a dumb idea. But soon enough Sakura was into the idea of opening the scroll.

Naruto looked back at us, and we nodded. Naruto slowly began to peal back the scroll. Until a hand grabbed him. I looked to see it was the ninja stalker Kabuto. -_- was written on my face at the sight of him.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Kabuto said. Sakura and Naruto gasped. I looked to see Sasuke coming around the corner.

I had my arms crossed over my chest, with Sakura and Naruto standing next to me. With their head hanging down.

"I can't believe you guys" Sasuke scolded

"If I hadn't come when I did" Kabuto said.

"Sorry Sasuke" Naruto and Sakura apologized. I wasn't saying 'Sorry'

"There have been those who have ignored the rules and tried reading the scroll. The scrolls are protected by a powerful hypnotic jutsu. A booby-trap for those unwise to open it" Kabuto said.

"Kabuto right? We met at the registration. What are you doing here wandering all by yourself?" Sasuke questioned.

"Don't worry I'm not after your Earth scroll"Kabuto answered.

"I guess not, you would have taken it from Naruto when you had the chance." Sasuke said.

"Not really I already have both of them *takes out both scrolls* I had a run of luck. I was just on my way to the tower to wait for my companions." Kabuto said.

I watched him walk away. Thank gosh, I don't trust him one bit. II was filled with so much joy I could sing!

"Hold it" Sasuke ordered.

I narrowed my eyes at him, Sasuke what are you thinking! You're turning into Sakura! First she had to talk to the sand nin now he's stopping Kabuto. UGH!

"I'll fight you for it" Sasuke said.

"You'll fight me for it?" questioned Kabuto

"Sasuke..." muttered Sakura.

"Hold up! Is this a joke!" exclaimed Naruto.

"Are you serious?" questioned Kabuto.

"Perfectly. Sorry but I don't have time to play nice" Sasuke said.

"Baka! Don't you remember he saved us" I said.

"Kitsune's right. We don't want to be ungrateful or anything" Sakura smiled. Naruto nodded in agreement.

"Shut up! It's either him or us out here. It's all about surviving and winning nothing else matters." Sasuke said.

"Hmm... you're lying" hummed Kabuto. "Under all the tough talk you're heart isn't into it.

"Sasuke lied, gasp!" I giggled to myself.

"If winning was really the opening matter, then why challenge me to my fight" Kabuto questioned Sasuke.

Kabuto started talking, and I didn't care. He then told us that he would show us the path to take. Then he said that we must move now or else we could get attacked by a wild beast.

After a couple minutes, we were ninja jumping in the trees. I sighed as we continued on our way.

I glanced up, I could see the tower insight. I jumped down from the trees followed by everyone else.

"There's the tower. That means the end is in sight" Kabuto stated. "Now come the hard part"

"All right, let's go!" Naruto exclaimed. We all then heard a noise. Naruto pulled out a kunai and threw it.

Instead of it being a person, it was the world's largest centipede! I shivered at the sight of it.

"That's a big bug!" I whimpered like a child. I hugged Naruto as a shield

"That creepy things as big as a bus!" Sakura agreed. I nodded my head.

"Hey Naruto" Kabuto began, "do us a favor and take it down to a dull roar"

"Huh?" Naruto gave Kabuto a dull look.

"See the whole idea is to not let anyone know were here. If you go crashing through the forest like an elephant then we are sure to get caught" Kabuto explained.

Kabuto then came up with a plan for all of us to spit up and hide. For a great chance at an ambush. I transformed into a fox and ran through the grass. I looked up in the trees above me to see Naruto suck. I laughed slightly.

We all met up again and Kabuto said that we were getting closer. We continued to walked when something deadly smelling was in the air. I stopped by Naruto and tapped his shoulder. We looked up to see dead corpses.

"A trap"Sasuke said.

"Yeah, and it only get's worse from here on out" stated Kabuto. I stared at the corpses. I sighed

Kabuto and Naruto began to lead the way. Sakura and I followed with Naruto a little behind me.

"Hey!" Naruto exclaimed. I gasped when I saw him set of a trap. Kunai came flying out of the trees. I went to save him, but Kabuto saved him instead.

He got hit in the back by so many kunai. I ran over to them, but Kabuto was no longer there he was a log. I looked up to see he was perfectly fine. My patience with this guy is wearing thin.

I yawned rubbing the nasty bruise on my cheek. You see we had a run in with another group of ninja. One of them landed a punch on my face and I ended up making him pay. We were now that tower. I walked up the stairs and Sakura was helping Sasuke walk. Then Kabuto team members came.

"There you are Kabuto" said one of the teammates.

"Where were you" asked one with glasses.

"Sorry I got a little side tracked" Kabuto replied.

"Thank gosh you did! Without you we wouldn't have gotten the scroll!" said grinning Naruto. Kabuto turned and smiled.

"Not really, it was you guys that did most of the work. Especially you Naruto, you were amazing!" Kabuto complemented

Naruto grinned even more with a slight blush on his cheeks. I poked his blushing cheek and he looked at me. I squealed as he wrapped his arm around my neck pulling me into his side.

"Well this is the door we go into. Good Luck to you all" Kabuto said.

"Yeah!"

I watched Kabuto go through his door. Naruto did the honor of opening the door ripping the piece of paper that was on it. We walked into the room and it was empty.

"What's the deal, nobody's here" said Naruto

"It's okay Sakura, I can manage" Ducky said, as he pulled away from Sakura. She was a blushing mess, but smiled a lot.

"What do we do now, Kitsune any ideas" asked Naruto.

"Nope! My mind is blank" I replied.

"Hey! Look at that!" Sakura exclaimed. We looked to see a poster of some sort hanging on the wall in front of us.

"Great! What is it" Naruto asked.

Sakura began reading what was on the poster. I tilted my head and looked at it closely. I tilted my head making a face. I then gasped.

"We're suppose to open the scroll together!" I exclaimed.

Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura looked at me. I jumped with joy and grabbed the Heaven scroll from Naruto. He looked at me.

"Ready Nana?" I asked.

"Yup, Believe it" Naruto answered.

I slightly gulped and began to peel open the scroll. Sweat slight dripped down my face I was so nervous. Naruto and I opened the scroll and looked at this strange symbol.

"What does this mean" questioned Naruto.

"Beats me, never seen anything like it." I said staring down at the scroll/

"A man... A person " Sakura said sweat dropping. I watched a small bubble appear from the scroll, then it started to smoke.

"Naruto! Kitsune! Let go of the scroll" Sasuke exclaimed. I gladly threw mine and ran behind Naruto. I peeked over his shoulder.

I gasped and my tail began to wag happily. "Iruka!!!!"

I ran from behind Naruto and pounced on him. He laughed and hugged me back. I looked at Naruto and pointed at Iruka.

"Naruto it's Iruka!" I exclaimed with joy. Naruto shook his head at me, still with a shocked expression

"Long time no see" smiled Iruka with his arms now crossed over his chest. I calmed down and stood next to Naruto again.

"Iruka-sensei?" Sakura said questionly.

"It appears you've gone through a lot" Iruka said.

"What's the deal with the surprise entrance. Why did you appear with the summoning?" Naruto asked.

"At the end of the second exam, we Chunin are to welcome the test-takers. It was out of luck that I got to be the messanger for you guys" Iruka began making his way towards us.

"Messenger?" I asked.

Iruka pulled out a small watch, "Just in time too and now... Congratulations you passed the second exam! You celebrate your passing I'd like to treat you to some Ichiraku ramen, but-"

"RAMEN ALRIGHT!" Naruto and I had hearts in our eyes that word. Oh man Iruka is buying us RAMEN!!

Naruto and I both ran hugged him. Iruka pushed us off. Naruto and I were still cheering over the fact that we were getting ramen!!

"Ramen! Ramen! Believe it! I am so tired of eating just plants and bugs! Kitsune and I are going to eat until we're fat!!" Naruto cheered. I fist pumped the air.

"Heh, I can see that you're still as hyperactive as ever, you to" Iruka chuckled.

"I see. So if we were to have opened the scroll in the middle of the exam what would you have done Iruka-sensei" asked Ducky.

I stopped my cheering and looked at my uncle. Iruka leaned down picking up the scrolls..

"Sasuke, as usual you're sharp. This exam was to test how well you can follow through with a difficult mission" Iruka began, "As you knew, opening the scrolls was against the rules, but you tried to open one. We were ordered to knocked out anyone who did that."

"Well it's a good thing you didn't open up you're right Naruto" Sasuke smirked. Naruto paled along with Sakura.

"Oh yeah sensei?" questioned Sakura.

"Yeah"

"What's that writing on the wall mean?"

"It doesn't matter! All we need to know is that we passed!" I cheered.

"Acutall Kitsune, that's was one of my orders"

I narrowed my eyes at Iruka and sat on the ground with my arms crossed. My eyebrow twitch every once in awhile. Oji you're lucky I love you, cause I really don't wanna hear any of this. I already heard it!

Now, squad 7 and I were standing in front of Ojichan. Along with a whole bunch of jounin and the prospector. I looked around at all the other genin who passed. I notice that Gaara was here. Great! Note my sarcasm. I then took notice to the giant hand sealing statue in the room. I wonder how I didn't notice that.

"First of all, congratulations on finishing the second exam." Anko announced.

I crossed my arms over my chest, and yawned. I looked over at Ojichan and he has a blank expression on his face. He smiled softly at me. I placed my arms behind my head. I let out a very loud yawn earning me a smack on the head. I pouted.

"Hey look, all the leaf rookies are here" Sakura said. I glanced at her holding my head.

"Woah everyone's here. Old man Hokage and Iruka sensei and bushy brow are here. It looks like nobody got left out" stated Naruto.

"I don't have a very good feeling about this" Sasuke said. I let out another loud yawn and rubbed my ear.

"Alright now pay attention! Lord Hokage is going to explain the third exam to you. Better pay attention maggots" Anko commanded.

I scoffed, who is she calling a bug!

"First before I tell you what the third exam, I want to explain to you something about the test itself. Listen closely this is something you need to understand."

Ojichan then went on with his speech about the allied Nations and how they were tied with the exams. I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest. Ojichan was talking away to much. I think I see a little red on his face.

"Lord Hokage, as awesome as your speech is... umm that does this have to do with the exam" I asked. Ojichan looked over at me.

"Hmm, Listen Closely as I explain the third exam!"Ojichan said, then he coughed a little. Suddenly a brown haired ninja kneeled down in front of Ojichan.

"Lord Hokage, please allow me, Hayate Gekko, who was given the task of judge to speak first" he said.

"So be it" Ojichan replied. Hayate stood up from his original position.

"Nice to meet all of you. There is something I would like all of you to do before the third exam" Hayate coughed. Soo he wanted to talk but he's coughing after five seconds. 0.0 weird.

"... We have to have a perimetry exam before we move on to the real one" Hayate said. Everyone gasped.

"Preliminary?! Just what do you mean by that?!" yelled Shikamaru.

"Sensei, I don't understand the point of that preliminary. Why can't we just move on to the third exam" asked Sakura.

"Uhh... well you see. The first and second exams might have been too easy. The fact is that we didn't exam so many of you to be here. According to the rules of the exams, the preliminary can be held at anytime to reduce the amount of genin remaining" Hayate stated. "Therefore, those of you not in the top physical condition...now is the time for you to drop out"

He then started coughing like a madman. I heard a gasp from behind me. I turned to see Sasuke holding his shoulder.

"Sasuke, listen to me. You gotta quit" Sakura whispered, "You've been like this ever since you tangled with Orochimaru."

I suddenly remembered that snake biting Sasuke. My face softened at Sasuke. "Sasuke, we have to tell someone about what happen. Oji- I mean Lord Hokage will understand"

"Please Sasuke, quit now before... I don't know..... I'm scared" Sakura softly cried. I looked at Naruto, I forgot he doesn't know what happen.

I glanced over at Ojichan, he was looking at us. So he knows already. I looked at Sasuke. I started to make my way over to Ojichan when Sasuke grabbed my arm.

"S-sasuke"

"I told you before. What I am is an avenger, and for me this is far more than an exam. Whether I become a Chunin or not means less than nothing to me. 'Am I as strong as I can be', all I want is the answer to that. I can only find out by fighting the strongest... the best. And the best they're here. This is the path I walk, and you nor anyone can change that!" Sasuke snapped at me.

I whimpered, and pulled my arm away from him. I glared at him.

"You don't know when to quit do you?! What do you keep biting your head off for. It's just cause Kitsune cares about you!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Naruto! You're one of those people I wanna fight the most. Kitsune from here on, your my rival" Sasuke smirked.

I smirked, "Fine by me Uchiha"
