"Why you ain't watch it on the TV? And why is it so many niggas?" I mugged playfully and she laughed pausing it then put the phone in her lap.

"Because you were playi-Messiah what do you want?" she smiled at me "Where are we going?" I asked her "Right now?" she asked

"For our date." I asked her "Are you happy?" she chuckled and I nodded "Well it's a surprise."

"But what am I supposed to wear?"

"Whatever you want." she said "Babe." I stale faced her "What? I don't care what you wear." she mumbled

"But how should I dress?"

"Well where do you want to go out to eat?" she asked me "How you gone take me on a date whe-" "No I have somewhere to go but I still want to know"

"I wanna go to Bossa Nova." I said "Nah cause I was already finna take you there." she said and I dapped her up

"I have to make an appointment first."

She put in her other airpod and turned up the volume. "I'm gone beat yo ass. Act like you can't hear me just know deep down inside I'ma beat yo ass."

"I love you too." she said not looking up from her phone and I was sitting there with my hands on my hips

"I ain't even say that with yo bald ass. Them braids ain't foolin' nobody. And thats why when we go on our date you ain't paying for anything weather you li-" I got cut off by a knock

"Come in." I said and Milani walked in with Dj behind her and climbed on the bed laying on K'yonii's lap

Ni took out an airpod but kept her attention on the phone

"Ask them your question." Milani chuckled "Are you guys bestfriends?" he asked and I nodded "I guess."

"Can me and Milani be bestfriends forever without getting married?" he asked and she snickered

"Who told you, you had to get married to be bestfriends forever?" Ni chuckled

"Cause I asked my dad why he married my mom and he said so they can be bestfriends forever. So I told Milani and she told me you marry people when you love them."

"Well both of you guys are kind of right but y'all don't need to get married in order to bestfriends forever." K'yonii said

"Y'all love eachother?" he asked us "Mhm." "Yea."

She pulled her phone from her face and facetiming who ever she was on the phone with.

All of my cousins plus. Yonaa and Pookie. Then Man Man and all of them were all here. Dj ended up going home and Milani's with my mom and MeMe for the night until we come from our date.

"Yew." K'yonii mocked "Are you gay?" Donnie asked Nana. Nana looked at Phat but he wasn't paying attention

K'yonii somehow ended up on my lap and we were both rubbing her stomach. Although it's small it's still there and I love it.

"What time is it?" she mumbled "7:18." I said and she got up. "We're supposed to be getting ready right now." she said pulling me up

"I'm ready." I lied and she sized me then gave me a tight lipped smile and turned to walk away "You judging?" I asked and she shook her still smiling

"I hope y'all not finna go fuck while we in the house cause she's not quiet at all." Yonaa said "Bitch shut up its music to yo ears." Ni mugged

As we made our way upstairs we kept short conversations.

"Are you gonna tell me what to wear now?"

"Wear anything orange and black." she mumbled going into the closet and I squinted that's not what I meant but alright.

She came out a few minutes later with a black top and bottom set that had orange accents. Then went back into the closet.

"Should I wear a dress?" she asked "Hell yea." I said while taking my shirt off.

"Wait what is this for then?" I asked looking at the set on the bed. "It's for where we're going." she said coming out of the closet.

"Can you button this for me?" she asked turning around moving her braids out of the way "Do you own this dress?" I asked her buttoning my pants first

"Thank you." she smiled small and I nodded putting on my black and orange vlone shirt.

After we took a few pictures we made our way downstairs and she was holding the orange and black set in her hands

"You got to be kidding me." she chuckled walking to the passenger side "I'm opening the door for you." I said "Oh." she walked around

She got in the car and opened the door for me from the inside.

"Do you have everything?"

"Yea."

"What is this?" I looked around "This my friend is how I get paid."

"Like drugs, illegal boxing matches, street car races, motorcycle races then theres fun things like paintball, spray painting, parkour area, weeck area. Those are free unless you wanna rent them to yourself." she said

"How are you getting paid?"

"lI do all of the illegal things except selling drugs. And sometimes they have fights and races that go up to 30 million dollars. Then depending on what you place depends on how much money you get"

"He thought I stopped fighting completely but I just don't do it as much." she said waving at someone.

I did then I went to sit on the mini couch she had inside of there it was like a mini house. Literally.

"I'm confused."

"Well we got 30 minutes for you to ask me what you want in order for you to not be confused." she said

"I used to run away a lot as a kid and the same day I met Bhudda she bought me here to watch a few fights and do other things and after that I stayed a few nights here." she said

"How often do you come here?"

"I haven't been here in a hot minute but I used to be up here everyday that's why I wasn't at school alot. And that day we met I was gonna come here but you know..."

"How many kids are we having?"

"Yo is that Bhudda?" I chuckled and she nodded. She was naked within like 2 seconds and I was hard as hell.

She put on a sports bra then this vest like thingy. Then she put biker shorts on.

"Ni." I said "I know I should've told you to close your eyes or something." she said already knowing and I pulled her by her hips.

"I didn't think I was gonna be able to fit this." she mumbled zipping her top up and then buttoning it "You can't it's too big." I said

"Shut up." she mushed my head. I turned her around and pulled her shorts down. "What are you doing weirdo?"

"I didn't get to see yo ass." I said and she bent over slightly and shook it making me smack it and she giggled pulling her shorts back up.

"Luna get yo weird ass away from my door!" she said putting her pants on "You got 2 minutes and I'm kicking your door in!"

I zipped and buttoned her pants up. "I'm not your kid." she chuckled

"The race starts soon and you need to come get your car from my booth." Bhudda told her

"Are you racing?"

"Nah I put my money on you though. It's finna start in like 15 so hurry up." she says and leaves

"Say cheese." I said and when she looked at my phone I snapped a picture.

"Delete that." she said "No. Love you." I said making her laugh.

"Okay come on so I can show you around before Bhudda hefty ass come back." she said "Don't make eye contact with anyone cause they love talking."

"Nini!" someone yelled and she pulled me and started walking faster. "Just say hi." I said "No. Love you." she said

"Okay this is where they would announce who's racing if they know who you are or if it pops up on the screen over there they'll say it."

"And that's where we do the quater mile races. I don't want you to mess up to shoes cause I would take you over there but it's sticky as hell."

"What's that?" I pointed at this big billboard thing.

"Oh that has the fastest reaction time and fastest completion of the the quarter mile."

"Are you on there?"

"You know I'm on there." she mumbled walking over to it and I walked behind her "I don't like this board though cause I was off by .01 point. So look at that one." she said

She was the 2nd fastest with her completion time being 3.97 seconds. But for reaction time she was at 1st with 0.05 seconds.

"But 2nd isn't bad." I shrugged "Yes it is 1st loser." she mumbled. "I'm just playin'."

"Okay come on. I'll show you more after the race." she said "You look good."

"Thank you. Again."

"I'm sorry you look good that's all." I chuckled "It's okay. I'll take the compliments." she said

"You wanna watch baddies south with me when we go home?" she asked me and I started laughing "Sure."

"I'm serious. Chrisean be poppin' her shit. Toothless ass." she said making me buss out laughing

"You're funny as hell bruh."

"You wanna ride with me in the quarter mile?"

"No." I shook my head and she laughed "All we do is go straight it's not the race."

"Unt un. I'm rooting for you though." I said making a heart with my hands "It's fun though just one time please?"

"I'll think about it." I said knowing I was going to give in. "You see that ACT?"

It was a black ACT with orange highlights basically matching her outfit. "When you're done put your dress back on and take pictures in front it." I said

"You always want me to take pictures." she said "Cause you too fuckin' fine to be tryna keep this shit to yourself."

"Either way it stays to myself." she said "No I be postin' yo pictures. No caption. Just you." I said

"Boy bye" she waved me off

"You think I'm playing?" I asked pulling my phone out of my pocket. "Why do you like me so much?"

"I don't know yet. I'll write it in our vows." I said "Oh we're getting married?"

"We better get married the hell." I mugged "Okay Dj." she said making me laugh "Here." Bhudda walked up to us giving Ni her keys.

"Why you lookin' like you scared or somethin'?" she asked me "I'm terrified." I said and she laughed. "I'll be okay. You know how I drive." she said

"Yea but I don't know how they dri-" A horn blew cutting me off and she smiled "Okay bye bye."

She grabbed my face and stood on her tippie toes pecking my lips. "Be safe please." I sighed and she nodded

"Awe look where they got her." Bhudda smacked her lips. The lights started to flash and the girl in the middle spun her flag and dropped it then they took off

Since she was by the wall when the race started someone was driving on her car literally.

"Oh she's gonna be pissed." Kiara said putting her fist to her mouth

I don't like this. This making my nerves bad.

"Yo start the race over!" Bhudda yelled walking over to the people I guess in charge of the race.

"I'ma fuck Luna old ass watch." Kiara said as she walked away and I bussed out laughing.

"Bruh hell nah." I shook my head

"You wouldn't hit?" she asked "N-" "Bullshit. I'll strap her ass real quick." she cut me off

"She'll beat yo ass if she heard you talkin' like that." I said truthfully.

"You're crazy." I said watching Ni slow down allowing the car to go past her.

There was a lot of commentary but I wasn't really listening. She got up there quickly and somehow ended up overlapping and there were people cheering left and right for her

The same car that had her against the wall hit her from behind and I started to get up but Bhudda pulled me back down
