"OUCH" I shouted as I stepped on one of Kaiser's Lego blocks.
I swear kids leave their toys EVERYWHERE.
"Kaiser, you need to clean these toys up."
He just looked at me and laughed with his bad ass. The terrible two stage is something else. Two year olds are the biggest savages known to man. They give ZERO fucks.
I chuckled, "you are so bad."
I spent about ten minutes cleaning Kaiser's toys up.
I'm not gonna lie, I definitely enjoy being home with my son. I don't miss work at all. I know I'll have to go back to work soon though. However, I won't be going back to the strip club. That club life is way too dangerous. Sammy's mom was able to get me a desk job at state farm. I'll be making good money, but it's nothing like that strip club money. My life is way more important than a couple hundred a night though.
"MOMMY" Kaiser shouted.
"Yes baby?"
"I see East?" Kaiser asked.
"Boy, you just seen that man. Spend some time with mommy."
Kaiser pouted then shook his head.
"Whew chile" I mumbled as I rolled my eyes.
East spoils Kaiser, which is why he always wants to go with him. I'm definitely a little jealous. My baby has always been a mama's boy. It's weird to see him prefer East over me.
"I come bearing gifts" Sammy said as she walked into my apartment.
Both Sammy and Kelis have a key to my apartment. Although they rarely do it, they can pop in anytime.
"I almost forgot about those spare keys."
Sammy laughed, "sorry sis. I would've called first, but I wanted to surprise you and congratulate you on your new job."
"Awwwww, my bestie is so sweet."

"I know right. I'm like the bestest BFF ever huh?" Sammy asked.
I laughed, "definitely."
Sammy smiled then pulled something out of a brown paper bag.
"This is a pink calcite stone" Sammy said as she handed me a stone.
"What is it for?"
"It'll bring you peace and serenity. I also booked a spa day for us. We'll be going to a sanctuary spa. You'll be extra relaxed and replenished when you start your new job" She said.
I smiled, "you are so sweet Sammy. I can't thank you enough for this."
"No need to thank me, you deserve this. You're the best mom and the hardest working woman that I know" She said.
"Bitch, not you trying to make me cry" I said as I fanned my eyes.
She laughed, "I forgot that you're a sensitive one."
I laughed then sat down on one of my bar stools.
"I seen Zander acting a fool with those bitches on live the other day. Wassup with that?"
"Chile, that man is SINGLE. We have an understanding though. Neither one of us are ready to be in a relationship. He's still recovering from his rough relationship with his baby mama, and I'm still recovering from my rough relationship with Travis. I still can't believe he's dead. I hated him for awhile after he got somebody else pregnant, but I didn't want the man to die" Sapphire said.
"Right, that situation was crazy. They said it was a drug deal gone bad."
"I should've known his crazy ass was on drugs" Sammy said.
I busted out laughing, "God forgive us please."

"Yasmine Wright, who is that?" I mumbled to myself.
I clicked on her page then scrolled down. I came across a picture of East and quickly realized that this was his mother. I scrolled down to a picture of a man that looked like an older version of East. I see where he gets his good looks from now. That man's father is FINE.
After lurking on her page, I followed his mother back. She seems like a nice lady.
Just as I was about to lock my phone, I got an Instagram DM.
There was a picture along with a paragraph about her and East. I laughed then locked my phone. I could NEVER be bothered by a chick that gets ignored. East literally turned his phone off when she was calling him in Miami. We're just friends anyways, so I'm not worried about what he does or who he's with. That's the difference between Lola and I, I know my place, she doesn't.
Yes, East and I kissed and cuddled in Miami. That doesn't mean we're in a relationship now. We were just vibing and having fun. He's DEFINITELY feeling ya girl, which makes this situation even funnier.
I was in my room working on an assignment when I heard a knock on my front door. It was fairly late, so I started getting nervous. I've been on edge ever since that night at the club. I never feel safe anymore unless I'm with somebody.
I looked through the peephole, but I didn't see anybody.
When I opened the door there was a sticky note attached to it.
My heart felt like it was about to jump out of my chest. I immediately closed my door then locked it. Never in a million years did I think he would find me. I know it's him. I recognize the handwriting.
I quickly packed a bag then woke Kaiser up. Right now, his safety is the only thing that matters. I have to get out of Los Angeles. Nobody understands just how dangerous Kaiser's father is. He will KILL me and take Kaiser without hesitation. He's a very evil, psychotic person.
"Come on baby" I picked Kaiser up then opened the front door.
I jumped when I seen East standing there.
"What are you doing here?"
"I was on this side of town, so I wanted to check on y'all. You going somewhere?" East asked as he looked at the duffle bag that I was holding.
I sighed, "I have to go. We're not safe here anymore."
East knitted his eyebrows, "what you mean?"
"Kaiser's father is out here. He knows that I live here" I said as I started to cry.
"Calm down Gen. How you know that?" East asked as he took Kaiser.
"He left a note on my door. I know his handwriting East. I know it's him. He'll kill me and take my baby" I cried out.
"Relax Gen" East said as he wrapped his free arm around me.
"I'm so scared East. You don't understand."
"I do understand. Come on" East said as he grabbed my hand.
"Where are we going?"
"To my crib" East said.
I shook my head, "I can't get you involved in this. It's not your problem."
"I wasn't asking Gen. Let's go" East demanded.
I locked my front door then followed East outside to his car.
This man has no idea what he's getting himself into.

Tautology
“Saying the same thing over and over again. For better or worse.” Aiden Lu awoke in a world that wasn’t his. There were familiarities, parallels, his old address, people he once knew, but people wielded superpowers, wondrous technology and magic beyond his age were used for the most mundane of tasks. Yet the world he awoke in was one dictated by constant conflict. Untold years ago, humanity crossed a line, a line that allowed integration to the wider Multiverse, an event that would later be known as The Apocalypse. Warp Gates to Otherworlds open completely at random, letting in alien things beyond comprehension or logic. Those who were blessed with power often give their lives to close these gates before the infections of alien realities become too great. The world is different in a way difficult for him to comprehend, yet there is a single difference that truly shook him, a sister dead in his old universe, alive but comatose here. The Archaic Ring
An original story inspired by xianxia and western fantasy. At sixteen years old, Nolan spent most of his time skipping class and playing video games, though he'd been getting into more fights lately than he cared to admit. His once record-high academics were nearing the end of a gradual decline, a byproduct of a growing indifference that had begun to fester after his parents' divorce. All of his worries dissipate like smoke in the wind when he inexplicably wakes up in another world, only to be replaced by a wider spectrum of vexing problems. BOOK ONE NOW ON AMAZON! Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. Road to Calamity
Life is not easy for a child in the Districts of Rhea where the worthless, a class of people considered to be beneath even slaves, try to live their life. Between the petty crimes and the mass beatings administrated by the cult of Order to keep the masses subdued, surviving is all one can do and nobody has time or money to spare for a starving girl. So when Nina is thrown out of the brothel in which her mother works by its displeased owner, she quickly comes to understand that simple truth: she's alone and no one will help her. And so, as hunger and necessity come knocking, she takes her first step on her road to Calamity. Cover image does not belong to me and I have no clue who made it, here is the source where I found it. One of these days I'll commision a more appropriate one but it's quite fine for now.
