Waking up I look at the ceiling for a few minutes before pushing the covers back standing up. Sliding my feet into my house shoes I walk out of my room quietly to the kitchen and begin to make breakfast for my dad.

In the middle of me pouring the eggs into the skillet my father walks in looking around before taking a seat.

"Hey dad". I said looking over at him as I stirred the eggs.

"Hi". He said before he started working on his sudoku puzzle.

My dad has mildly severe autism and some people around the neighborhood help him out which is good to know when I'm at school some days.

Sitting his plate in front of him I go to pick up his toast to put butter on it.

"I-I got it". He said and I shook my head.

"No I got it dad". I said moving my hands so he couldn't grab it.

"N-no I-I got it". He said taking it away from me and I nodded letting him do it.

"I have school today so I'm sending Linda over to check on you alright". I said taking a seat beside him and he didn't say anything.

After we finished eating he took his puzzle to the living room while I went to my room to get ready for class.

Getting dressed I walk out of my room making sure I grab my backpack on the way out.

"I'm leaving daddy". I said holding my hand out.

He looked at it before reaching out and shaking my hand. I give him a small smile before walking out and getting in my car.

Since it was a little cold out I cut the heater on low and pulled off.

Pulling into the parking lot I get out locking the door before making my way towards the school.

"Aye shorty". I heard someone say and I figured they were talking to someone else so I kept walking.

"Excuse me ma with the rugrats shirt". The person said and now I knew they were talking to me.

Stopping I turn around and see Krew. He ran the city but he's rarely out and about.

"You talking to me". I ask pointing to myself and he chuckled.

"Yeah I'm talking to you come here". He said and I started walking towards him.

Stopping in front of him I look up at him as he stared down at me.

"Can you do me a favor". He asked and I looked around seeing people were watching us talking to each other.

"Um I'm not sure". I said rubbing my arm as a force of habit.

"Alright cool I'll get somebody else to do it". He said looking to see if he could find someone else.

"No no no I'll do it". I said causing him to smile down at me.

"I need you to go up in there and tell my little brother T'jay to come here". He said folding his arms over his chest.

"Are you talking about T'jay Grant". I ask and he nods his head.

"Oh okay". I said and I turned around to start walking but was stopped by my backpack being pulled back.

"Let me get your number". He said and I shook my head.

"I'm sorry but I'm not trying to make friends or be in a relationship right now but I'll go get T'jay". I said giving him a small smile before turning back around and walking away.

Once I made it into class I see T'jay in the back with his earphones in. Walking towards him I tap his shoulder and he looks up taking his earphone out.

"Do I know you". He asked and I shook my head.

"U-um no sorry it's just that your brother is outside and he wanted you". I said and he nodded getting his things together standing up.

He walked out and I went to take a seat getting my things out of my backpack before class started.

The teacher walked in and started talking about the readings for today and paper she assigned a week ago.

Opening my notebook I began to take notes but my mind kept going back to Krew.

I didn't even tell him my name...
