••
Sitting on the table as she laid on the couch I just stared at her.
How is this shit possible her moms told me that she died giving birth to Tyrese and I wasn't there for her because I had an away game at the time.
The last thing she told me was how proud she was of me and how good of a dad I'd be.
Seeing her start to move around I straighten up. Opening her eyes she looked around before looking at me with that same smile I fell in love with years ago.
"I'm so sorry this is not a great first impression me passing out". She said as she sat up and I didn't say anything for a while I just wanted to hear her voice.
"Hello did you hear what I said". She asked waving her hand in my face.
"Nah what did you say". I ask looking up at her as she stood up.
"I said I'm just going to leave I've embarrassed myself enough". She said walking away causing me to stand up.
"You got the job". I said and she stopped before turning around and pushing her purse up on her shoulder.
"What". She asked with a confused look.
"I said you got the job be here tomorrow at noon". I said and she shook her head.
"I didn't even do an interview I could be a kidnapper or something". She said causing us both to laugh.
"Nah I trust you and I believe you gone figure out why the more time you spend with our I mean my son". I said correcting myself.
"Okay...". She said dragging it out with her eyebrows scrunched up.
"I really should get going though I'll see you tomorrow ". She said waving before walking out of the door.

"You can't believe that shit either can you". Antonio said behind be causing me to flinch a little.
"Her moms told me she was dead you was right there with me when I was on the phone with her". I said and he nodded walking over to me.
"Somethings not right cause she don't remember us". He said and I nod falling backwards on the couch.
No matter how hard it is I'm gone make her remember...
••
Getting in the car I look at the house one more time before starting it up and backing out.
On the way to the house I try to think about where I would know these two guys from but nothing rings a bell.
Pulling up outside the house I grab my purse and get out of the car closing the door. Locking it I make my way towards the house and up the steps before unlocking the door and stepping in.
"BABY GIRL THAT YOU". I heard my dad call out as I locked the door back.
"YEA DADDY ITS ME". I call back making my way towards the back.
"Come tell me how the interview went". He said and I could tell he was in his office because the light was shining through the hallway.
Pushing the door open some more I walk in and take a seat in the chair in front of his desk.
"So how did it go". He asked looking up from the paper he was looking at.
"I passed out you know the usual but I got the job". I said with a shrug.
"Babygirl have you been taking the medicine your mom prescribed to you". He asked with a look of concern.
"Yes I just forget to take it sometimes and it causes me to pass out".I said and he shook his head.

"What did she say it was for anyway". He asked looking at me.
"She said to help with my headaches". I said with a shrug.
"When did you start having those". He asked as I tried to remember.
"I really don't remember she just told me I passed out one day and prescribed me some medicine". I said crossing my legs.
"How come I never knew about this". He asked and I shrugged.
"You and mom got into that really big fight remember and you moved out for 2 years". I said and realization came across his face.
"I remember". He said nodding.
"Well I'm going to let you finish doing your work I have to pack so that I can make it to work on time". I said standing up to walk out.
"Um where you going". He asked causing me to turn around with a smile on my face before walking over to him and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you babygirl". He said smiling at me.
"I love you too". I said before walking out and to my room.
Tossing my purse on the bed I walk into my closet and grab two suitcases and a bag and begin to pack.

After packing and taking a shower I lay in the bed and turn on criminal minds but then my mind drifts off to the man from today.
Something is strange about that man but at least I got the job...
