《Leading Love [boyxboy]》Chapter 1

I was finally done with school and I had nothing else to do besides rotting at home. I was dead on the couch, loudly chewing on my favorite cherry flavored hubba bubba gum when Myles stormed in my direction.
"Quentin! Where are all the- You idiot they are supposed to be mine," he bitched and snatched the pink round package out of my hand and opened it to check how much I already took from it. "You fat ass ate everything," he groaned.
"I just put everything in my mouth," I shrugged. "It's so hard to chew though," I skewed my face and took the huge chewing gum ball out of my mouth to show him. "My jar will get a cramp. You want some?" I offered.
"Disgusting! Just throw it away," he turned around and left. I looked at the slimy ball and did as he said. I threw it in the trash and washed my hands afterwards. It kinda left a sticky feeling, so I wanted to get rid of it.
This time I decided to steal a couple of lollipops from the cupboard and let it disappear inside my pocket after I stuck one inside my mouth. Although I must say that biting on the hubba bubba gum tape or whatever you want to call it, was really satisfying.
I was about to leave the kitchen when Jin stopped me and roughly plugged the candy out my mouth which caused a shallow 'plopping' sound. "You'll get cavities, if you continue eating that much sweets. At least reduce it to one a day or something."
I frowned at him and shook my head. "Am I on some kind of diet or what?" I rolled my eyes and just grabbed another lolly out of my pocket and put it in my mouth as soon as I unwrapped it. I left to head, looking for Ramon when I unconsciously bumped against Ace.
He looked at me with a boring face and passed me. But since I had good ears, I could perfectly hear him muttering something like "Sucker," in my direction. Well I didn't mind because I love suckers. Especially cherry or apple flavored ones.
"Ugh," I sighed. "Ramon, where the fuck are you?" I shouted basically through the entire house.
"What is it?" An answer came back. I followed the voice that lead me to the fitness room as I stormed in, seeing him working out on the cross trainer. He was panting with exhaust when I stood there, my arms crossed with a demanding expression.
"When am I going to get my credit card?" I pursed my lips and scowled.
"Maybe when you start to pay more attention into something that has nothing to do with sweets," he said and stopped as he dried his sweat with a towel. "Eating too much sweets will make your body weak. Start working out instead," he recommended.
"I'm not weak," I said. "I can very well afford to eat as much sweets as I want to."

"Right, I forgot" he rolled his eyes and grabbed my arm. "I really wonder how you can be this thin while eating so much shit every day. Get some proteins in your body. You won't gain no muscles like that."
I huffed at him. "Just give me my credit card!" I referred back to what I was actually doing here.
He sighed and went out of the fitness room as I followed him. "Fine then. I guess you are already an adult. You can decide for yourself. But stop wasting hundreds of dollars every month just for candy, got that?" He pulled out my card out of his safe that was too well hidden in his room and passed it on to me. I wanted to take it when he pulled away. "Got that?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Yes! Fine!" I agreed and pulled it out of his grasp before I turned away.
Guys! I'm not even lying when I say that it is super difficult living with five brothers and it doesn't matter how far our rooms are apart. Especially when you are the youngest like I am. Because I'm never going to be as highly respected as Ramon and Jin who are by the way twins.
Maybe I should start of explaining a bit about my family. Because we are all weird in a stupid kind of way.
Let's start with myself. If you didn't catch that up, I turned eighteen for about a couple of weeks now and well, I'm kinda addicted to candy but that's fine because I'm pretty sure that my body is immune to sweets or rather needs it.
So, then there is my older brother Myles, even though he's only twenty-one an the age gap between us is not that big, we still don't get along at all. He's a total annoying bitch and a total meanie. It's okay for him to take my belongings but as soon as I take a few of his sweets then he starts to nag.
Ace on the other hand who is six years older than me is really quiet. He doesn't talk a lot and when he does, it's just to let out some dumb remarks. I really wonder what is going through his head sometimes.
Jin and Ramon are twins and already reached their middle twenties. Still since Ramon was born first, he rules the house and what he says goes, which I don't actually mind since he is mostly kind and also skilled. Though I wouldn't trust him too much. He kinda gives off that sneaky vibe if you know what I mean.
Jin though is the really responsible one and he cares for me a lot which is why I like to hang out with him the most. He seems quite unreliable when it comes to using his skills but you should never underestimate him because he always knows his way around stuff. Besides, he knows how to cook and sometimes teaches me a few things so I could soon stop with my addiction.
Yeah... we all know that it's never going to happen.

Anyway, I have another brother, Raven. He's twenty-seven, so he is basically the oldest. Though I haven't seen him for a long time since he doesn't live with us anymore. I don't mind, it's not like we shared a lot of good memories. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate him or anything and he's also not a bad person. Well that's what I think. Who knows whether he changed.
Now that I'm thinking about him, I really wonder how he was doing. He hasn't visited us since the day he left.
Well anyway, I decided to go out even though the clock already passed eleven. It was dark outside as I could see from the window but the moon was bright enough to lighten the streets. I styled my dyed white grayish hair where the roots were clearly growing out, almost reaching the half of my hair and put on my ear and lip piercings.
If you wonder, I do have a lot of piercings. Five on my right ear and three on the other. I also have an eyebrow and nose piercing which I barely use and a lip piercing. But my favorite ones are on my tongue and belly button.
Yeah, I surely love them all, except for my eyebrow piercing. I think I'm going to let it grow close. Maybe I'll do some nipple piercings instead. We'll see.
I changed my comfy pants into a pair of purple jeans, a white shirt that has the big typical pink donut with colorful sprinkles on it and also matching socks before I went out.
And as soon as I was out, I noticed that I left my sweets in the pockets of my sweatpants. So, I went to the closest playground after I quickly made a stop at the 24/7 convenience store to get some new ones. I had actually nothing to do. I just wanted to get some fresh air.
I was currently hanging upside down from the bar of the climbing frame and enjoyed the peaceful silence with a coke flavored lollipop stuck in my mouth. That was when I noticed a couple of people hanging around in the dim street light which helped me to see everything clear.
And because the light was not focused on my side, there was no chance of them spotting me. I was observing every one of the guys and also a girl until one of them especially caught my attention. It was not his looks that gave me goosebumps. Even though I must confess that he was really outstandingly handsome.
But if that could easily get through me then I wouldn't be single. No, when I'm looking for someone, then I don't want them because of their looks. Definitely not, even though it's still a bonus point. If I'm looking for someone then I want them to be a leader.
And that guy over there gave the perfect vibe of a leader's and I could sense that miles apart. I bit off the rest of the lolly and threw the stick away before I did a little flip and jumped off the bar.
I made my way to the gang, that seemed to be in some kind of conversation, with my mind fully wrapped around in determination on targeting that guy. Only when I was a couple meters away from them, they seemed to notice me.
"Are you looking for something?" Some other guy questioned as I walked straight pass him, not even giving him a glance. I stopped in front of the leader, looking up at him. He was taller than I thought he would be.
Everyone was quiet when I stood there looking at him, waiting for him to give me some attention. But he wasn't even looking at me when the guy asked. "What do you want?" He was looking away his hands tugged inside his pants when he sighed.
I sulked when he was still not looking at me. So, I simply grabbed his collar and pulled him down that he had no choice but to focus his eyes on nothing but me. "I want you!" I said bluntly.
That was when he changed his expression to a frown. We were staring at each other for a few seconds when he suddenly started laughing. "Yeah in your dreams." I huffed and let go of him. "I'm not going out with some kid I don't even know," he claimed.
"Then get to know me!" I insisted and crossed my arms. He chuckled at me. He wasn't taking me seriously which was annoying me so much. "Come on, give me your number," I demanded and pulled my phone out.
"And what if I say no?" He was still looking at me like I was just some kid who has no idea what he was talking about. Of course, I did. I'm not stupid.
"Then I'm going to stalk and haunt you till I can finally get through you," I claimed without a hint of a joke in my voice. He cocked his eyebrows and looked at me again for a few seconds before he hesitantly took my phone and typed in his number. At least he knew that I wasn't joking with what I said.
He gave it back to me as I looked down on it, seeing his name also written on the spot above his number. Zaron? What a weird name. I called him just in case he wasn't fooling me which he luckily didn't.
I smirked and looked back at him, pointing my finger on his chest. "I'll text you tomorrow," I licked my lips and turned back, ready to head back home.
"Hey!" He stopped me. "I still didn't get your name," he pointed out.
Oh yeah right, he didn't. But it's not like he should. "There is no need to," I waved away without turning back and kept going. He should better not know my identity for now. It will only lead to misjudgment.
Believe me, I already experienced it several times.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
