《Leading Love [boyxboy]》Chapter 2

I was watching Myles and Ramon practicing fighting in the hall. Myles still needed to improve on his flexibility in fighting as Ramon said. And I knew what he meant once I saw them fighting. He was a bit to stiff which effected his speed during the time between his offence and defence.
Well I didn't actually care that much, I was just sitting here because I was bored out of my mind and didn't have anything better to do than to watch them. And maybe I could learn a few things by watching. Who knows.
As I already mentioned, Ramon was quite skilled in martial arts. Well he was also the one who practiced and also trained us the most. I think he was seeing it as some kind of responsibility since he is the oldest.
If I'd rate us then I would say Ramon is first and Jin the second. Though I think that Jin could easily catch up to him if he wanted to because they are physically on the same level. Then I would add Myles next to the list and last but not least, Ace.
Maybe he could be stronger than Myles, I wasn't too sure since I never see him fight. I never see him that much in general.
I can't say where I'd put myself since my way of fighting is a bit different. I don't fight with punches or kicks. Ramon wasn't wrong when he said that I was weak. I am physically just not on anyones height.
Let's just say if Ramon would punch me in the face then my nose would definitely be broken. If I in return would try that out, I would probably only cause a good bruise in the best case. And I'm not talking about his face, I'm talking about my hand.
I didn't mind it since my reflexes and speed were on his level and my senses were even better than his. The reason why I couldn't rank myself was simply that Ramon and Jin were the only ones that are used to my technics. If I'd fight with Myles more often I even think that he could catch up, too.
Anyway, you probably wonder what was up with our family and why we are so popular, right?
It's simple. It's because of Dad. He's a professional assassin and also in vandalism.
Yup, that's right. Every one who hasn't heard of us before will never believe us.
But it is true. Other people are willing to pay every coin of their worthy money to harm someone. And he often takes one of us along which is why we practice. It's dangerous to follow him unexpierenced. Who he decides to take along mostly depends on the case.
When it has to do with strength, of course he would pick the twins. And Ace is an absolute specialist in sneaking into every and any kind of buildings without leaving a trace. Well Myles was the best in searching and detecting which I will never believe. He still seems like a complete airhead to me.
Since I am still young, I only went a couple of times for cases like blackmail and torturing. I may not look like it, but I'm somehow good when it comes to these traits. Don't get me wrong, I don't have some kind of fetish for that or anything.

Well whatever. You probably think that Dad should easily been caught by the cops. Truth is, that they were not that innocent either. I already realized that they sometimes hired him too when the cases got too difficult for them to handle.
But still, even though this was his house, he was never here. I even think that he doesn't have a place where he actually stayed for longer than a week. He's probably wandering around like some kind of nomad.
And on top of that, people don't really know us. What I mean is that the most people have obviously heard about us but mostly don't know how we look like. I'm pretty sure that it couldn't be too hard, making some deep research about us to know where we live. It wasn't a secret.
But it would be really stupid to mess with five of us. Because obviously when someone really manage to kill a Collister then Dad is definitely going to kill them with his own flesh and blood. I'm really fond of my old man even though I barely get to see him.
It once happened that someone wanted revenge and tried to kill one of us, just because they assumed that we had something to do with his wife that was suddenly killed which is also why we try not to give out our identity when it was not necessary.
If you ask me, I think that man was just crazy and wanted to blame anyone for his loss because Dad would never in his life leave such an easy trace that an average salary man could come after him. Besides why would Dad deal with such a little case like that. I think he's more active in the business world.
But however. There wasn't a proof. There was never a proof. It was bit complicated. People new that Dad is a famous assassin but at the end of the day they couldn't verify it with an actual proof.
Anyway.
I snapped back to reality when I noticed that Myles and Ramon were already at their end.
"So what about you?" He raised his eyebrows, hoping for me to give in. Though I shook my head and stood up to leave.
"I already have other plans," I declined and went to my room. To put on a normal pair of denim jeans with colorful patches which I had glued on to make them look less boring. If you couldn't tell, I absolutely hate tedious stuff.
I pared it with black and white striped long sleeves that had some funny looking red heart with eyes on it before I put on some pink socks with green dots as I was pulling my phone out to text Zaron.
'Hey,' I started and waited until I got the same as a response back. 'Where do you live?' I wanted to know.
'You can't come right now, I'm busy,' he replied. I pursed my lips and sulked. No one asked wether he was busy or not, I rolled my eyes.
'I don't care, tell me where I can find you!' I tried again but he didn't answered. That idiot.

"Jin!" I called and hurried over to him. He seemed concentrated with something on his laptop but I didn't pay attention to it when I showed him my phone. "I want you to locate him," I demanded.
He took my phone out my hands and didn't ask any questions as he did. As soon as I returned after leaving to drink something and to get myself some candy, he was already finished and wrote down the address for me.
I grinned at that and took it out of his grasp once I pressed a brief kiss on his cheek. "You're amazing," I released and left to put my red worn out converse on.
I grabbed my keys and stormed out the house to get in my yellow VW beetle GSR and started driving while I was following the router that leaded me to Zaron's place.
When I reached his house, I got out and parked the car, making my way to the door. I pressed my lips together and pushed the button next to the name tag 'Mendal' as I waited for someone to open up when I put a cherry flavoured sucker in my mouth.
The door opened a few seconds later, revealing the blond haired guy I also saw yesterday. "The fuck are you doing here?" He frowned and looked a bit pissed. I just passed him, not paying him attention again and followed the voices I could hear from inside.
I went in which looked like a living room where I spotted everyone and also the leader. I grinned and skipped over to him. "Zaron!" He stood up and pushed me away before I could throw myself at him.
"How do you know where I live?" He frowned at me in suspicion.
I huffed after I pulled the lolly out of my mouth and crossed my arms. "That's not a nice way to greet someone after ignoring them in the middle of texting." He didn't find it funny at all and I didn't either. It's rude just to ignore me.
"Don't joke with me, how did you know where I live?" He repeated, steadier than before.
I nibbled on the sucker and sighed. "Fine relax, I just asked my brother to locate your phone," I shrugged which made him calm down a bit as he sat back down.
"I told you I was busy. You shouldn't have come," he sighed and rubbed his temple in stress. I pursed my lips and tilted my head.
"I won't disturb, pinky promise, just keep on going wherever you stopped at," I waved away. He looked at everyone else like he was seeking for permission and then back at me. He sighed and didn't say anything against it which I took as a yes. "Yay," I cheered, taking a seat next to him and wrapped my arms around his torso.
"You're so clingy," he muttered when he tried to pull my hands off but I just put it back in place. "So comfortable?" He raised an eyebrow. I smiled and nodded.
"Such an ignorant bitch," I heard from the side. I turned around and frowned.
"Did you say something," I couldn't tell from whom it actually came from. Probably the one who just opened the door for me. Zaron pulled me away and let out a sigh.
"Maybe you should introduce yourself to my mates first," he suggested. I looked at them and skewed my face.
"Why?" I complained. "I don't care about them though," I said.
"You're being rude. Show at least some respect if you want to stay here," he rolled his eyes. I turned to them, pulled the sucker out and was about to say something when I suddenly realized something.
I frowned and turned to Zaron when I whispered in his ear for no one to hear. "And how do I show respect?" He raised his eyebrows and leaned away, hesitantly checking me from top till bottom.
"Who the hell raised you?" He tilted his head.
I furrowed at his answer and seriously thought about it. Who raised me? Huh, that's a good question, I never thought about it. Well Ace and Myles never cared that much. Besides they were probably to young to care anyway. Dad was never home and Raven, well when he was still living with us he was never present either. Do Jin and Ramon count?
"Do you need people to raise you?" I wondered.
He narrowed his eyes at me. "You don't have no parents?" He asked cautiously.
"Oh of course I do. I barely see my Dad though and I don't know much about my Mom. They got divorced too early," I shrugged.
"So who took care of you? Like made you food or something like that?" He questioned. Why did he care so much? Was it really that interesting?
"I have many older brothers. Um I guess when I was younger I just did everything myself. Like I just snatched some food from somewhere when I was hungry," I shrugged. "I don't know anymore, is it that important?" I whined.
"I'm sorry," he apologized and stopped bugging me any further. I wrapped my arms around him again and closed my eyes in comfort.
He was really warm. Just like a walking heater. And I couldn't tell why but it somehow helped me to relax even more.
I noticed when he started talking again, but I wasn't actually that much interested to listen. I just stayed silence as I felt the vibrations of his voice that spread through his body which made me more sleepy from time too time.
Until I fell asleep.

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

Far beneath the surface of a planet wrapped in a toxic atmosphere, competing political ideologies stare each other down over a heavily militarised line that cuts through the city on their border.
