《Leading Love [boyxboy]》Chapter 17

*Chapter 17*
It was like the most cutest thing I've ever seen when I saw Quentin talking to Ruby who was by the way my niece. I didn't know that he could talk to kids like that. He seemed more like the harsh and ruthless one. But I guess the way he looked at her, spoke against it. Like he had never seen a little child before.
I smirked as I leaned against the door frame with crossed arms. "See, he is really good with seducing people. If it was me, that girl would rather slap me than give me a kiss," I sighed.
Liz chuckled at that. "Was it similar when he was trying to seduce you?"
"Nah not at all," I shook my head. "He was super persistent and clingy. He just decided on its own to go on a date with me and later on dragged me through the mall. And I had to prove for myself that he doesn't have even the slightest feeling of shame which is probably the most annoying and most difficult thing to deal with."
"What do you mean by that?" She searched for more details. "Would he dance half naked on the street if I told him to," she joked.
"He would," I nodded with a half smile. "Not that I would let him do that. He's probably wearing some pair of cheeky Victoria's secret underwear."
She laughed. "I wouldn't have guessed that you knew that brand."
"I haven't. So that tells a lot," I mumbled. "Besides he's super tempting. If he doesn't tempt me with his body than he does with his words. And me having average braincells of a man, you probably know what comes out of it."
"A nice boyfriend you picked out," she patted me on the shoulder before breaking out in a laugh. "Maybe I should go get some tips if you say he's that good," she chuckled.
I rolled my eyes as we returned to the dining table. "Did anything happen?" Mom assured. We both shook our heads and smiled. Despite having a confused expression they didn't question us about it and let it go.
"Anyway," Dad started. "That boy, I don't think he is a good choice. He's too young, is it even legal?" He exaggerated.
"He's eighteen, so it's fine. I wouldn't say it is easy dealing with him. Nor would I say that I completely understand him, because I don't, not at all. He does whatever he pleases without consideration. Though, I love being with him so it is definitely worth it," I smiled.
"I knew it, he really fucked up your mind," Henry commented. "Have you already done it now?"
"Henry! Work on your Language!" Mom warned him.
"What? You can't say that you are not the slightest curious, can you?" He said and turned to me. "Now have you or have you not?"
I shook my head. "No, I haven't. It's cause we have an agreement going on and till then it's not going to change."
"I can't believe all that is going on is serious. And I thought today was supposed to be about me but I guess you gave us all quite a shock, too. Showing up with someone who's wearing some pink jeans. Even I think it's too much," Liz sighed.

"At least you didn't have to meet him running around Zaron's house almost completely naked and all by himself," he rolled his eyes. "Don't you have any trust issues leaving him alone at your place? I mean he could possibly break or steal something, you could never know."
I shook my head. I honestly never once spent a thought about it. "He mostly only sleeps when I leave him at home. Besides I believe he's quite wealthy so there wouldn't be a reason to steal anything," I shrugged.
"He seems like a spoiled brat to me," Mom mumbled. I snorted at that. I would lie if I say that he wasn't. "Can he even live off by himself like cleaning or cooking?"
"Probably not," I shook my head.
"Even though I hate to say it, but his cooking is not bad at all. I mean, he can at least cook for himself," Henry confessed which made me immediately stopped eating as I threw him an unbelieving glance.
"No way! He can cook?" And I thought he was begging me to cook his meal because he was incapable of doing that himself. "That brat was taking advantage of me the whole time? I'm so going to screw him." Liz chuckled at my reaction, but I didn't find it funny at all.
"Well when I came to visit you, he was actually preparing some food for you but since you weren't there," he shrugged. And I thought he hated getting spoiled but when it comes to food it is no problem or what? I guess he just had a problem when it comes to our sex life which had recently improved a tiny bit.
"Just refuse to do everything for him, what's the big deal?" Liz suggested like it was as easy as she claimed.
"You should just shut up, you have no idea. As if it's that easy," I shook my head.
"Okay, okay, let's stop talking about it for now. Today was actually meant for something else, wasn't it," Dad forced us to change the subject once his eyes landed on Liz. "What did you even want to tell all of us?"
"Well." She rubbed her palms together and let them go when she continued talking. "I don't think that it's necessary to talk around, so I'll just come to the point," she said. "So yeah, I'm pregnant," she confessed out of the blue.
"No way," Henry was the first to break the silence that had spread around the room.
"Again?" I coincidently said the same thing as my father at the same time. Liz just grinned and nodded.
Mom just chuckled and shook her head. "Congratulations, honey," she smiled. "You love packing yourself with more work, do you?" She went ahead to give her a good hug.
"See Zaron, you yourself should also start looking for a decent partner. Just take a look at your sister. She was already engaged at you age," he shook his head in disappointment and also congratulated Liz. I rolled my eyes at his words. It was none of his business whether I lived happy ever after with someone or whether I ended up as an old grumpy and lonely man.

"I don't care as long as you don't ever come home crying because of another pregnancy hyperventilation," Henry muttered. Liz scowled and gave him a solid punch, causing him to cry in pain. "Owww! What? It is true though!"
"If it was you carrying a baby then you wouldn't come at me with such a big mouth," she countered.
Henry didn't reply to that and kept silence for a while. Mom on the other side was head over heels in that moment. "You should have taken your time like I did with you and your brothers. It'll be hard taking care of Ruby and the baby at once."
"Well it's fine, Damien promised to help out a lot more. Apart from that I am going to take a break from work anyway," Liz assured.
"Do you already have a name for him or her?" I was curious.
"It's a he and his name should be Felix," she said with a hint of provocation in her voice for whatever reason she did that.
"What a nice name you have chosen," Dad smiled. "So hard to believe that I'm already a grandpa at my age and now I'm even going to get a grandson. I'm so proud of you," he patted my sister.
"You exaggerating now," my sister grinned.
"Let's praise it," Mom said and brought out a bottle of wine which Dad opened and tilted in all our glasses. I didn't even like wine that much. "So," Dad started with a sign for all of us to raise our glasses. "Let's wish the child all the best, glory, success and of course, the most important, happiness."
And with that we clinked our glasses and took a good sip. And just in that moment, like it had been already planned, we hear Ruby crying. Liz abruptly got up in worry to make sure nothing happened.
But a minute after she left, she called me with major panic in her voice. "Zaron!"
I stood up in suspicion and followed her voice to her former bedroom that used to be hers when she lived here. When I opened the half closed door the first thing I saw was Quentin laying on the floor. I was quick to be next to him after spotting Ruby sitting beside with tears running down her face while Liz tried calming her down and checking on Quentin at the same time.
"What happened?" I widened my eyes as I kneed down to look for anything appealing. But there didn't seem to be.
"I don't know the moment I came here, he was already like this." Liz explained. I grabbed his hand with the intention on checking his pulse but the moment I raised it up, I could feel him tightening his grip and slightly pulling me down. I let out a released sigh once I realized that there wasn't anything seriously wrong with him. Well, you know what I mean.
I silently smiled when I noticed that he wasn't planning on letting me go. Like he could somehow sense that it was me.
"What is with him?" I felt Ruby tugging my sleeve. "Is he okay?" I looked up to her and smiled, gently caressing his cheek.
"Don't worry he's fine. He's just a little tired," I assured her before looking back at Quentin. I stroked his bangs out of his face and sighed. "You should have told me, you idiot," I mumbled. I slowly raised him up and placed him on the bed that he wouldn't have to lay on the uncomfortable floor anymore.
"Come Ruby, let's leave them alone, okay?" Liz wanted to give us some time but the little girl clearly refused.
"Noo, I want to stay till he wakes up. I want to look after him, too!" She demanded.
"He's not going to wake up anymore at least not today, so it's fine if you go ahead," I let her know which caused her to pout in sadness.
"Come on baby. It won't be the last time that you can get to meet him, okay?" Liz said and convinced her daughter to follow her out. I heard their steps quickly fading the moment they left before I turned back to Quentin.
"I should have known it since he didn't get to sleep enough," I spoke to myself. I was ready to leave to let him sleep so I bend down and pressed my lips on his forehead when I suddenly felt his arms wrapped around me which gave me a slight shock there. "Why are you awake?"
He smiled and weakly opened his eyes. "You're too cute," he chuckled and yawned.
"Look who's talking," I smirked. "You and Ruby, a perfect combo. I was even a little jealous."
"How useless," he giggled. "I can't get my dick up for girls anyway." I rolled my eyes. Let's just leave out the fact that she was only a four years old child.
"Next time you should tell me in advance if you're feeling tired, seriously. You gave her quite a shock, you know?" He didn't seem to care and thus he didn't respond, instead he just avoided my gaze.
I leaned down and pecked his lips before I wanted to stand up but he prevented me from moving as he pulled me down. "Don't give me such a lousy kiss," he grumbled. So he wasn't too tired for a kiss, huh? Oh boy, I chuckled, connected our lips and adjusted myself to his gentle movements. My hand was automatically on his cheek when he all of the sudden stopped moving.
I sat up and saw how he was already asleep. "I can't believe you fell asleep while kissing," I gasped and shook my head. "I'll remember that," I shook my head and kind of felt a bit offended about it. So I got up and left him back to return.
