*Chapter 21*
"Come on get in the car and stop dawdling," I sighed as I was already sitting in the car and waiting for Quentin to hurry up. It took some time until he got in and closed the door beside him that we could finally leave. "The hell, what took you so long?" I grumbled after starting the engine.
"My hair," he huffed. "See, it looks like a murderous cat jumped on my head." I looked at it and frowned at his exaggeration.
I didn't pay any further attention before I started driving. My mind drove off, thinking about the place Quentin grew up in. Though I quickly snapped out of it to follow the directions he was telling me while he was busy fixing his hair in the tiny mirror.
"You should stop, it's not getting any better, you know," I pointed at his hair.
"Shut up," he whined and seemed to already have realized that there was no help in this. "Ugh, should've just let my hair down instead," he pursed his lips.
"Yup, you look way cuter that way," I agreed.
"Huh? So I don't look good with my hair styled?" He pouted.
"That's not what I said, you moron!"
"Don't call me moron, you idiot," he threw back at me and crossed his arms. And that was how the rest of the ride went on. Apart from the the few directions it was silence between us. "We're here," he mumbled.
I looked around, seeing the house that was not far ahead of us. My eyes nearly fell out of my face when I stopped in front of it and saw how huge it actually was in comparison to afar. "Don't tell me you are a prince or something," I gasped and got out at the same time he did.
"I'm not," he shook his head and grabbed my hand, guiding me to the gate which was already open, different from the entrance door. So Quentin pressed the button to ring the bell instead of just taking out his keys. But even after we waited some time there wasn't anyone to open the door.
"Are you sure there is someone inside?" I doubted.
"Don't worry, they're definitely inside. I bet they're just too lazy to stand up," he waved away and pulled out his keys to unlock the door himself and step in.
From inside it looked like every normal house would. Just that there was a lot of unnecessary space and that the rooms were really big. I assumed that the house was empty after no one was in sight, but Quentin seemed to know it better and pulled his shoes off.
"I'm home," he shouted to purposely let everyone know we were home. "And Zaron is there, too," he added before he turned to me. "You need too pull you shoes or Ramon will get mad," he mentioned. So I quickly did as he told me to avoid any stress before even getting to know anyone. Well if they are really here.
Quentin was getting impatient and pressed his lips together. "I'll have sex in the kitchen if you don't show up now," he threatened.
That's when a loud sound came from upstairs before a guy that looked slightly older than Quentin leaned half over the railing of the stairs and warned him. "I'll kill you if you dare," he barked.
"I told you, you should kick that stupid idiot out already," another older guy showed up and pulled the other away from the railing.

"Hey!" Quentin grinned and waved them as it was normal to associate like that.
"Ramon is taking a shower, he'll come soon," one of the brothers said and came down, his eyes fully focused on me.
"What about Jin?" Quentin wondered. Though the guy just shrugged while the other decided to join us, too. "Oh okay," he nodded slightly disappointed.
"Ah so you're the guy that has been keeping that nuisance away, huh?" The guy squinted his eyes. And even if he was younger than me, he acted like he was superior and looked down on me. I just looked straight back not knowing how to react.
"You're being the nuisance now," Quentin sighed. "Anyway, this is Myles, the annoying one and the type that is too proud to introduce himself." Myles shot him an angry look. "And that is Ace, the guy that can't put his thoughts to words," Quentin pointed at the other more quiet type.
In that moment a door opened as another, this time an older guy, maybe older than me, showed up only in a pair of sweatpants and dripping hair. On top of that, he was really muscular and looked like he was basically living in a gym.
"Why is it so noisy here?" The guy groaned until he spot me and had the same look like Myles. These eyes that were indirectly menacing me without an actual motive. "Zaron, am I right?" He raised an eyebrow and reached out his hand.
I accepted it shaking his hand and nodded. "Yeah, right."
That's when he set up a polite smile and introduced himself. "It's Ramon. Nice to finally meet you."
"Why are you so kind, he doesn't deserve it. After all he's the one fucking Quentin," Myles crossed his arms. Ramon didn't approve of his speech and pulled at his ear, causing him to cringe in pain. "Ow, ow, oww!"
Quentin giggled at the sight and stuck his tongue out to him. I think I can slowly get where his personality came from. "Sorry for his manners, he's always like that. Though, you should have been somewhat used to it, seeing as you can put up with Quentin," Ramon apologized.
"Indeed," I smirked.
"Hey! You act like I was an annoying bitch," Quentin complained.
"You are!" We all said at the same time which surprised not only him but me, too. Just that he was upset about it and turned away.
And all of the sudden the entrance door opened to reveal another guy that looked like an exact copy of Ramon. "JIN!" Quentin screamed and went to jump him with a hug. The guy, Jin, would've almost lost his balance if he hadn't spot Quentin in the last second.
"Jesus! Don't scare me like that," he chuckled as he let go of Quentin. "Sorry for being late, I tried to hurry up."
"It's fine, it's fine," he tugged on his arm and dragged him towards us. "So this is Zaron, my boyfriend," he introduced. "And Zaron, this is Jin." The guy that resembled Ramon had a critical look on his face as he checked me from top till bottom.
I couldn't tell what his problem was with me when he crossed his arms in a doubting gesture. "You are Zaron?" He cocked his eyebrows before shaking his head and disappearing behind a door. Everyone seemed really perplexed at that sudden reaction, but Quentin seemed to be the most affected by it and had the look of a lost puppy for moment before he ran after him.

It felt like hours where it was silence in the room and the atmosphere was everything but fine now. It was rather suffocating, so I tried to at least get rid of that. "Did I do something wrong?" I frowned.
Ramon narrowed his eyes at me and sighed. But Myles was the first to talk. "Who would have thought that he'd act like that?" Myles marveled. "I told you he's no good," he repeated and put a hand on Ramon's shoulder before leaving us, too. Ramon on the other side leaned against the wall and massaged his temple.
"Hey you, Zaron," he crossed his arms. "Come on sit down," he pointed a the couch next to him. I briefly hesitated but accepted his offer after making sure that he wasn't planning to harm me. "Ace," Ramon looked at his younger brother who had been observing me with a confused look. "Go to your room," he demanded.
"But-," he was ready to object but the moment he opened his mouth, something was thrown straight at him which he quickly dodged. I think it was a pen Ramon threw that could have easily hit Ace's eye if he hadn't moved away.
Ace didn't waste a second thought and disappeared as fast as the pen flew and left the two of us alone. Ramon rolled his eyes as I was still shocked at the moment.
Could someone tell me what was going on in this house?
"You don't have no bad intentions, do you?" Ramon started.
"Of course I don't," I shook my head and raised my arms in innocent.
"You don't? And I should believe that crap? You're probably just using him as a sex doll or your personal money bank, am I right?" I was about to decline but he didn't even let me start, so I had to keep shut. "Look." His eyes were not even focused at me but if they were then I'd probably be pierced to death. "I don't have time for all of your games. I have absolutely nothing to do with it. But the moment it has a the tiniest affect on Quentin, that's when I'm personally going to strangle you."
I gulped at his threat but tried to hide my worried expression, replacing it with a confident one. "You got it wrong, I'm neither using him as a sex doll, nor am I taking advantage of him. In fact, I didn't even know he came from a wealthy family nor have I slept with him. And I'm definitely not planning to harm him in anyway," I clarified.
"Wait what?" He widened his eyes, not believing me. "Then why the hell are you going out with him? Don't tell me you seriously like him," he cocked his eyebrows.
That's when I stood up and got him to look at me. "And what if I say I do?" I provoked.
"Don't be ridiculous! You barely know him. He's more than you think he is. There's no way I would happily entrust Quentin to someone like you. He's way too intelligent and promising to let his future be ruined by you!"
I stepped aback at his words as a hurting pressure stroke me. Ruining his future? Right. Someone with a successful family obviously had a plan for their life. How come I never thought about that? I bit my lips. "Still, as long Quentin doesn't refuse me, then I won't even think about giving up on him," I responded in a calm voice.
He looked like he wanted to say something but in the end he just laughed it away and shook his head. "You're crazy," he muttered when suddenly the door where Jin and Quentin disappeared to burst open. Jin all furious and hot tempered, approached me and abruptly grabbed my collar, pulling me closer to him.
"Jin, stop it!" Quentin hurried over trying to get a hold of him, but was stopped when Ramon stood in the way. "Ramon, get out the way!" He tried to pass him but it was hopeless.
I was more worried of the other twin though. "If you dare make him cry, then I'll rip you apart with my own bare hands, got it?" He threatened. I gulped and nodded before he let go of me and turned away, dragging his twin along until there was no sight of them anymore.
Quentin exhaled and looked tired as he leaned his forehead against me in exhaustion. "Are you alright?" I worried and wrapped an arm around him while the other drove through his hair several times. "I'm sorry, I'm only causing you problems," I apologized.
"Don't be stupid," he shook his head and pulled away from me. "They're just overreacting," he sighed. "Come on let's go to my room." He grabbed my arm and guided me towards his room. It was so huge here that it made it more difficult to believe that Quentin lived in a place like this.
He opened a red, green door which stood out the most since all of the other doors were plain white. Though once we stepped inside, my jar dropped. Not only was it super huge but it looked like... I don't know, maybe the pure definition of Quentin.
The walls were white except the wall behind the bed. Because that had red, yellow, pink and orange stripes from top till bottom. And he even had a balcony.
"Wow," I marvelled. Well compared to this room, mine was really boring as he mentioned. "Jesus, just look at your bed." It was not only king sized but it was also like in those princess movies where the bed had red curtains which were currently pushed back. "I don't understand why you would come to my place when you have such a bed," I indirectly questioned.
"Because you're not here." He didn't even hesitated to answer. "I want to be with you, even though you're never present when I wake up." He went to open the doors, leading to the balcony and let in some fresh air before stepping out and leaning against the railing. "It feels like I have been gone for a while," he chuckled.
The soft breeze hit my face and scattered my hair when I stepped outside to admire the view. "Are you really okay?" My eyes fell on Quentin who was a little too quiet for my liking. He didn't answer, so I gently wrapped my arms around him and rested my chin on his shoulder.
"I feel like crying, right now," he mumbled as he turned around to face me. "I would have never thought that Jin would react like that. To be honest, I had thought that Ramon would loose his calm and Jin would be more understanding."
"Maybe it's because he cares that much about you that he reacted like that," I stroked his cheeks. It was so rare for his lively and carefree nature. So it was the first time that I actually saw him this upset.
"Zaron?" He whispered and looked down. "You don't really plan to break up with me, right?"
"No," I shook my head. "Not even the slightest." His expression changed into his bright smile that I was used to see and that I thought suited him the most. "Stop doubting my feelings," I rolled my eyes.
"Okay, I won't," he giggled. "But then you have to give me a kiss." I raised my eyebrows at his request but did as he wanted and pecked his cheeks which he didn't approve at all. "Zaron!" He whined.
"Yeah yeah relax," I chuckled and placed my lips on his for a deep kiss as I automatically embraced him when he smiled in the kiss. I let go with a soft smile before letting my arms slide to his hand and pulled him back to the room. "Since we are already here, what about packing some clothes for my place since you technically seem to be half living there."
"But I don't have anything against wearing your clothes," he pursed his lips.
I gave him the 'you-should-better-do-what-I-said-while-I-am-still-friendly'-look which made him sigh as he went to his cupboard after pulling out a bag and stuffing some clothing inside.
"Hey Quentin, what do you think on going on a date?" I came up with that idea all of the sudden.
He stopped in his movements and looked up at me. "Date?"
I nodded. "Yes a date. And this time something fully planned out. Just you and me."
His eyes were almost glittering at my offer when he jumped me in surprise, causing us both to fell to the ground. "Oh my gosh yes! I would really love to go," he agreed and eagerly nodded.
I chuckled at his reaction and leaned back, not caring that he was holding me down. There was a second where we both kept silence as we were looking at each other.
"Keep it PG13 in there," we suddenly heard from outside as we both burst out in a laugh at that.
