The days go by quickly and it was time for my eighteenth birthday party. I was officially becoming the leader of my pack today.

But something with my wolf has been off. Ever since meeting Alpha Cabello the other day he's been impatient. He's done nothing but pace in my head and I feel like I'm always on edge.

The sun is on its way down and everyone's gathering around as we stand next to the giant bonfire. My father stands before me as I stand in front of him. Hansen's are here with their pack as they take sight of this monumental moment.

My father gives his speech and then recited the words he needed to say before passing it on to me. I kneel before him as he places his hands on my shoulders.

"Y/N its time." He says looking into my eyes.

"I, Y/N Y/MN Y/LN solemnly swear, to do right by my family, to protect this pack with every fiber in my body, to lead us ahead, to be their leader, to help prosper this pack, to make us great again. I am the Alpha of all Alphas. I am the Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack." I roar out the last part and everyone cowers down kneeling before me.

I feel my eyes glow and it's like everything is falling into place now. Everyone stands up and cheers as I am now the Alpha of my pack.

We finish celebrating my birthday along with me becoming the new Alpha. I talk with Dinah about tomorrow's plans and she said she was already on board with it all.

I make sure everybody's stopped the drinking because we need to be at our best tomorrow. We're letting the Hansen pack stay here for the night, that way they don't have to travel back home.

I lay wide awake in my bed as I can't sleep. I'm too anxious. This will be my first time leading our pack tomorrow when we go to war. And I won't have my mate by my side. I just hoped that somehow I would meet her before then. But the moon goddess has a different path for us.

I eventually fall asleep but not even an hour later my alarm goes off signaling it's time to leave.

The younger wolves and the females who aren't fighting are staying behind. I'm leaving some of my guards here to protect over them. We are having two pack members drive a vehicle to the Water Stone Pack so we will have clothes waiting there for us. I feel very anxious still like something is going to happen. Something unexpected. I strip my clothes off and shift into my wolf. My pack and the Hansen pack are all shifted and ready to go. We all then make our way through the woods with Dinah and I leading the way. It took us a few hours to get to their place.

As soon as we set foot onto their land, it's like a volt of electricity shocks through my body. My ears perked up and I couldn't calm myself down. I was freaking out as my eyes searched everywhere trying to figure out what I was looking for.

Soon enough Alpha Alejandro came from inside his home with his whole pack behind him.

I stopped all movements as I smelled a scent in the air that made me want to melt. It was sweet and all I knew was that it had to be her.

"Mate!" Is all my wolf screams.

I take off full speed towards the Cabello pack and Alejandro and to whom I assume is his wife along with mate look shocked because I haven't slowed my run down. It's when they move apart she comes into view. My heart beats the hardest it's ever beat in my life.

Her long brown hair cascading down her back, brown doe eyes looking straight into my own, her plump lips, she's so beautiful I think I stopped breathing. I come to a halt in front of her and she just stares straight into my eyes. Her eyes telling me everything I need to know.

I begin to walk around her in my wolf form. Taking every inch of her in and I let out a whine trying to get her to understand what I want. I think she gets the hint because she suddenly takes off running towards the woods. But I wait patiently as I wag my tail excitingly.

Then she appears from the woods in her wolf form. She's a pure white wolf and she's so beautiful. I trot towards her and she meets me halfway. We circle one another as we take in each others form. Everyone at this point is just watching the two of us and I think it finally clicked for them.

She suddenly takes a bold move nuzzling her snout into my neck and I feel a jolt of electricity pass through my body. I let out a growl and she cowers away but she must have misinterpreted that growl. I lay down in front of her and whine and I think she understands. She lays down beside me and rests her head on my paws. I lay my head on top of hers and I couldn't feel more whole. I pull my head back and lick her head and she looks back up at me. She suddenly jumps up and bolts towards the woods and I follow her. I ignore everyone trying to stop us as all I can think about is my mate.

I eventually catch up to her and we stop at a beautiful waterfall. She sits perched on her hind legs as she turns to look at me behind her. I slowly walk to her and sit beside her. She moves closer to me and I feel my body ignite at the touch of our bodies pressed together. It's taking everything in me to not mark her right here and now.

She then stands up walking away from me and I watch her trot behind a tree. A few minutes later she comes back from behind the tree in her human form and I revel at the sight of her. My eyes travel from her tan legs up her curvy body until we lock eyes. The smile on her face makes my heart beat erratically.

"Hi." She says and I shiver at the smoothness of her voice. She walks slowly up to me not breaking eye contact.

"Is it okay if I pet you?" She asks reaching her hand out and I let my tongue hang out wagging my tail happily. She giggles which makes me swoon even more.

Once her hand comes in contact with my fur I close my eyes and revel in her touch. The way my body reacts to her is something I never imagined happening to me.

"Can you change into your human form? I'd like to see you, and talk to you." She says and I open my eyes and nod my head. But I remember I don't have any clothes with me.

"Don't worry theres extra clothes behind the tree." She says and I stand up leaving her by herself. I go behind the tree and close my eyes as I imagine myself in my human form. Once I've shifted I find a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I pull them on and take a deep breath. I hope she doesn't reject me. I walk out from behind the tree with my head down, not wanting to meet her gaze.

I walk until I can feel her presence in front of me. I have my head still down as I look at my feet. But I feel a jolt of electricity run through my body as she places her hand on my chin. She lifts my head up and her breath catches at the sight of my face. Her eyes are wide and they shine with admiration, love, and lust.

"You are so beautiful." She says barely above a whisper and I feel the blush spread to my cheeks as I flick my eyes down but lock them with hers again.

"Not nearly as beautiful as you." I say with a sudden rasp in my voice and I watch her close her eyes and revel in the sound. I can tell it aroused her because I'm beginning to smell her. My wolf is clawing from the inside of me wanting to get out again and claim our mate. But it takes everything in me to keep him at bay.

I hold my hand out for her to shake and she takes it happily. "I'm Y/N Y/LN, Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack. Alpha of all Alphas." I say looking into her eyes and I watch her wolf shine through her eyes, she must be trying to control her wolf too.

"Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, daughter of Alejandro Cabello of the Water Stone Pack. But I prefer to be called Camila." She says licking her lips.

"It's taking everything in me to keep my wolf under control. He's impatient and wants to mark you now." I say giving her my charming smile as I laugh slightly.

"My wolf would follow right along, she's been impatient ever since I could smell you on my father." She says and it all makes sense now. Why I was drawn to Alejandro and how he was familiar to me.

"So how old are you?" I ask curious of her answer.

"I turned 18 two months ago." She says and I nod my head understanding.

"I just turned 18 last night." I say and she smiles at me batting her eyelashes.

"Would you object to me hugging you?" I ask wanting to be closer to the girl.

"No, I would love it." She says taking a step forward. I close the remaining space between us and she wraps her arms around my neck. Mine fit perfectly around her waist and I lean down into her reveling in her touch. We both sigh in content and I bury my face in her neck inhaling her addicting scent. My wolf starts to stir again due to the close proximity of her neck and my mouth. I grow bold and place a kiss where I will one day mark her and she lets out a whine. My wolf wants to claim her right here as I can smell her arousal growing stronger. My own arousal is beginning to show and she lets out another whine. I think she can sense me.

It takes all the strength in me to pull away from her neck. I rest my forehead against hers as I'm panting heavily. I try to control my breathing but it's no use because until I mark her I will always be like this. I feel her hands move to my cheeks as she holds my face in a loving embrace. I open my eyes to see her brown ones shining at me. I see her eyes flick down to my lips and I do the same with hers. I lean forward wanting to feel her lips against mine and it's as if my body grew weak and my heart exploded in my chest.

We both moan as our lips move in sync together. The feeling of her soft plump lips against my own is something out of this world. She licks my bottom lip catching me off guard and I allow her entrance causing us both to moan out again. Our tongues get familiar with one another and it's like they've done this dance before. I pull away once air becomes a problem as I try to calm myself down and Camila whines at the lost contact.

"We should get back, you father is probably worried." I say looking into her dilated pupils.

"Yeah, we should." She pants and I groan smelling her arousal stronger than ever. She walks behind a tree and I do the same as we strip off the clothing and shift into our wolves. I try and control my wolf because he can smell Camila strongly and it's driving him absolutely crazy. Camila emerges from behind her tree and she catches sight of me. Her wolf lifts her nose in the air as she can smell my arousal now and she tries to come to me so I can mount her. But Camila pulls her wolf away and toward her Pack house. I make my wolf follow but keep him in check.

I catch up with her and run along side of her as we exit the woods and see both of our packs waiting for us anxiously. Camila makes her way behind a tree to change and my Beta Cameron comes to my side and drops clothes behind a tree.

I shift and change my clothes quickly. I come out from behind the tree to see Camila waiting for me. I smile big at the sight of her causing her to smile just as big. I slowly walk up to her and hold my hand out for her to take and we walk towards our awaiting packs.

The closer we get to them I see the angry expression on her father's face. He probably thinks I marked his daughter without getting his approval or wedding her first.

"Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao!" Her father bellows angrily and she cowers at his tone and it enrages me. I take a protective step in front of her puffing my chest out. I stand taller than her father as I look down at him. He gulps and takes a step back, but his glare doesn't soften.

"Papi, it's not what you think." She pleads and he looks between his daughter and I.

"Alpha Alejandro, I am honorable and would not mark your daughter without asking you for her hand in marriage first." I say looking him in the eyes.

"Your daughter is my mate. She will become Luna of the Silver Moon Pack and the Luna of all Luna's." I say holding onto her hand and giving it a small squeeze for her reassurance.

"Mija, is this true?" Sinuhe asks looking between us.

Camila steps out from behind me as her eyes shine looking at me.

"Yes Mami, Y/N is my mate." She says and a smile spreads on her mother's lips. Camila and I then look to her father who has an unreadable expression. Then his eyes soften as a smile breaks out on his face.

"I wouldn't want my daughter mated to anyone else. I apologize for jumping to conclusions earlier, you two were gone for a long time so I thought." He said and I smile shaking my head. I extend my hand out to him and he grabs it happily as he pulls me into a hug. When we pull away I look to my mate and see her smiling so big at our interaction.

Then I realize I haven't met her mother yet. I turn towards her mother who is already smiling at me. I approach her and extend my hand.

"It's an honor to meet the mother of my mate." I say giving her a genuine smile.

"It's great to meet you too Alpha Y/N. I've heard many stories over the years about your power and presence. I also would like to send my apologies to what happened many years ago to your mother." She says sadly at the end and I swallow the small lump in my throat and meet her eyes.

"She was an amazing woman. So beautiful and so full of life. She was a great friend." She says catching me off guard. I didn't know she knew who my mother was.

"Thank you." I say giving her a small smile. I turn to look at my mate who is looking at me worriedly.

"Alpha Y/N." I hear Alpha Alejandro day and I turn my attention towards him.

"We should discuss things." He says and I nod my head understanding. I give Camila one last look before following her father to what I assume is his office.

We both take a seat as he sits across from me. He takes a deep breath causing me to look at him worriedly.

"The Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack declared this war." He says and I nod my head understanding because he had told me this before.

"He declared this war because he wants my daughter. I refused him because she told me that he was not her mate. I've never liked the guy and I've always felt leery around him." He says and I sit still.

"He wants to make Camila his mate. And he is going to try and take her by force."
