Morning has come and Camila and I are headed off to the pack doctor. The whole way there she's been glued to my side and I'm starting to worry that something is wrong.

When we enter his office he escorts the two of us immediately into a examination room. We all enter and Camila has a seat on the table as I stand next to her.

"What seems to be the problem?"

"I've been having hot flashes, body aches, and the extreme need to be with my mate at all times. My heats over but my body acts like it's not."

I place a comforting hand on my mates lower back as she leans into my side.

"It's like she has to be near me at all times too. Her body has to be touching mine in some type of way."

I add and I can tell he's taking in all the information seriously. But his eyes light up like a lightbulb went off inside his head.

"I think I know what it is. But I'm going to have to draw some blood in order to run the test."

I growl lowly at the thought of my mate being harmed in the slightest. He lifts his hands in a non-threatening manner and leaves the room.

"Hopefully this will give us some answers."

Camila says as she turns her head towards me. She lays her head against me and I run my fingers through her long locks.

"I hope so." I whisper softly as I admire her beautiful face.

A knock sounds on the door and the doctor enters with everything he needs to draw her blood. He begins to get everything set up and I kiss the top of Camilas head.

"Once I have her blood I'll run the test immediately and we should get the results within a few minutes."

I nod my head as he turns towards us with the needle and test tube. Camila hides her face in my shirt as he begins to draw the blood from her arm. I watch the tube fill completely and he removes the needle. Her wound heals instantly and he heads out the door.

It's only been a couple of minutes and he comes back in with papers in his hand that read the test results. A smile forms on his face and he takes a seat across from the two of us.

"Congratulations Alpha and Luna. You're expecting."

My heart stops momentarily but begins to beat at a rapid pace. A smile forms on my lips and I look to Camila to see her supporting an even bigger smile.

"I'm pregnant?" She asks softly and the doctor nods his head.

"Yes and if I'm guessing right you will be due within a month." My eyes widen at that because Camilas stomach isn't even that big. I can hardly notice a bump.

"Considering you are the Alpha of all Alphas and she is the Luna of all Lunas your pregnancy will move a lot faster than a normal wolf's would."

My mind is moving at a rate I can hardly keep up with.

"This also explains your need of having to be near your mate." He explains further to Camila who is glowing at this point.

"Thank you doctor." I watch Camila shake his hand and I extend my hand to the man too.

He then leaves us in the room and I turn to my wife/mate/Luna and feel the tears begin to leave my eyes.

"I promise I'll do everything to protect and love you both."

Camila has tears of her own now, running down her cheeks. She cups my face and pulls me into a passionate kiss. I feel the sparks ignite between us as we share this intimate moment together.

When we pull apart we rest our foreheads against one another as we try to catch our breath. But I frown instantly remembering that I'm leaving today. I don't want to leave her here, but I don't want her traveling with me as a target either.

"Relax baby, everything is going to be okay. I'll be fine here, I promise."

I bury my face in the crock of her neck as I inhale her sweet scent. I brush my nose against her neck and my lips against my mark. She whimpers at the feeling but clings to me tightly.

I don't know why but I have this unsettling feeling about leaving her here. I will obviously leave my best here to protect her and I know her father will do the same. But my mind is uneasy.

"Come on, lets go tell our pack." She whispers after giving me another peck on the lips. She grabs my hand and begins to lead me out of the doctors office and to the house we have been staying in on her parents land.

By the time we get there it's like she already mind-linked everyone to meet us there. I stand with Camila at my side and I take in the amount of people who have come to join us. I spot Camila's parents along with her little sister who are patiently waiting, but eager to know the news.

"As you all know, a lot of things have been happening around here lately that a lot of us were not expecting."

I manage to say and Camila takes my hand within her own intertwining our fingers. Her hand gives me an encouraging squeeze and I lick my lips as I stand tall.

"I came here to help an ally in a time of need and ended up finding my mate." I say while looking down at Camila.

"Through my time here with you all I've fought and I've killed."

"But one of the most important things I've done, is that I've loved."

I turn to look at Camila and can't stop the smile from spreading across my lips.

"And now we are expecting our very first pup."

I say as I don't take my eyes off of hers. Her eyes are shining so brightly and I can hear the happiness from our pack members along with the helping packs.

"I love you." Camila says so breathlessly that I feel my heart grow twice in size.

"I love you too my queen."
