"Jeb?" I call out for him before he leaves thought the Portal. Thomas and Jessica told me all that happen to him. I never saw it coming that my boyfriend could hurt anyone, but then Thomas and Jessica explain more and now I know he was forced. That makes more sense because he could never hurt anyone.

" Lucas?" Jeb calls out to me. Jeb is about to leave the school with all of his belongings. I had a feeling that he won't be saying here long so I decided to wait by portals for a bit. Behind him is some guy with a star on his shirt. I think that has something to do with the council. I watch as Jeb comes running full speed at me and hugs me. We hug so tight that I lift him off the ground.

" Am going to miss you" I tell him as I feel like I grab him tighter. I know it will be a while before I could hug him again. " Am going to miss you too" he says as he snuggles his head into my shoulder. I kiss him on the cheek as he shoves farther into my shoulder.

"Ugh" The guy behind him makes a sound to us. I can tell he wants us to stop so he can take Jeb away. " Lucas, I love you," He tells me as I kiss him on the lips. He gives in fast to it. " I love you to Jeb," I tell him as I let him go. His feet touch the ground softly.

I watch as he steps away and the portal opens up. Then I watch him step into the Portal and disappeared from my life.

I running from witchcraft 101 with Beth hot on my toes. We left Samuel and Lucas in the dust in class. We heading straight towards our dorm lobby. When we got the text message from Mark asking us to meet him at the dorm building lobby in five minutes we both jolt out of our seats. I am not sure who else got a message. I don't think Samuel and Lucas got a text message cause there were still in their seats. When we left the class. Lucas and Samuel, we're never really friends with him since Mark didn't trust them.

This is the first time since January, the last time we have heard from Mark was when he said to just leave him alone after class. It's now May and Mark just now text us. He must have now wanted to talk to us.

Wonder what he wants to tell us beCause if he hasn't spoken to us in like four months it must be important. Maybe he is ready to tell us what happened.

Beth and I run into the dorm building to see that it's mostly empty since most people are still in class. I look over to our normal spot to see everyone sitting down. I also see Mark sitting in the seat he normally sits in. Beth and I sprite over to the seats to see the whole gang. Jessica, Liam, Ned, Charlotte, and now Mark.

I and Beth take it as a cue to seat down. We both go sit in our normal seats. " Hey, guys, as you all know I have called all of you guys here for a reason. It's time that you guys know the truth about why I separate myself from all of you." He says as he looks down to not make eye contact. No one says anything to this. Am just not sure what it could be.

" As all of you know am a Merman. But what most of you guys don't know is Merpeople VS Siren war." He says as everyone looks confused. Half don't know why this anything to with him and the other half doesn't know what the Merpeople VS Siren war was. But u know what the war was because Mark had told me about it when we were doing our project at being of the year. " Yeah, the war between the Merpeople and Siren that result in the Siren to be extinct. " I Say to clarify what he is saying. "Yeah but over Christmas break, I found out that the war didn't kill everyone," He says as we all look at each other. What does have to deal with anything?

" Well, it turns out that there were a couple of Sirens left after the battle. That group has stuck close together into the late 1970s where all the Siren died except for two." He says after he takes a break. I think I know where this is going now. " Those two were my parents," He says to us as I think it clicks in all of our heads. " Which makes you a Siren?" Jessica says to him to clarify this time. " Yeah" Is all he says.

" How does this have to deal with you not talking to us?" Liam asks him. Yeah, Liam how's a point but this still doesn't explain why he stop talking to us. " Well, my dad is afraid after everyone was getting kidnapped that I could be Kidnapped too. Then and if I get hurt that's one less Siren. So my dad made me promise that I didn't talk and hang out with anyone so our secret won't get out. That's why I haven't been talking to you guys." He says as he keeps looking down at the ground. It isn't the perfect reason but I can understand where is family is coming from. Being the last of your kind you want to keep that living.

" So why are you hanging out with us now?" I hear Ned ask him. " Well... When I was at home during the kidnappings. He saw that I wasn't holding up well after citing my friends out of... Life, so he said when I came back to school I could tell my friends my secret as long as I can trust them." He says to us taking small breaks to stop himself from crying. he trusts us this much to tell us a family secret.

" Can you guys ever forgive me?" he says to us as we all smile. I guess everyone was right. When he is ready to talk about it. He will. " Of course," I say to him as I hug him. Then everyone gets up and hugs him.

"Maybe we should all go out and go party to celebrate" I hear Beth say to everyone sarcastically. We all look at each other. " Lasted we went to a party it starts a whole line of kidnapped. " Jessica repairs to Beth's comment. " Yeah no," Everyone says in response to Beth including Beth herself. Show that it was a joke. "How about we all get dinner." I hear Mark suggest to everyone. " Yeah, I like that idea better," I say to him. Everyone starts to laugh out loud.

" Let's go," Ned says as he grabs his backpack. I guess we are heading to dinner. Everyone starts to head to the door. " Hey Thomas, I can talk to you for a second." I hear Mark say to me as me and Jessica stop walking. " I'll give you guys a minute. We wait for you guys outside.

" Yeah?" I ask him as I walk over to him. " I want to say sorry sorry for leading you on. I hope I didn't make you feel like the reason I stop talking to you guys was because of you. " He tells me as he puts his hand on my shoulder. It's been such a long time since he had laid his hand on me and I have missed it. But it doesn't feel the same anymore. It just feels like a friend is touching me not someone I liked touching.

" Mark it's all good. I understand why you did it. " I tell him as he tries to give me a kiss on the cheek, But before he could kiss me I back up. Oh wow, he did just try to kiss me." Umm, Mark, I have a boyfriend." I tell him trying to not make the situation as awkward as possible. " Oh am sorry, I didn't know you are dating someone now." He says to me as I see something in him breaks. " I guess we should get going then." he says to me as he walks towards our group of friends. I feel really bad now. I didn't that Mark even still like it after he stopped being friends with us.

I can feel eyes on us. The gang and I walk into Supernature 101 to see people staring at us. But we all know why everyone is watch us it's because of me. Jonah and I decided to walk into class holding hands. I and Jonah hold hands the whole way down to our seats. I can feel people's eyes on us. It's not like people weren't already staring at me.

When we sit down I look around to see Dylan on another side of the class pushing someone out of their seat. I guess he is up to his old ways. I guess he was done being helpful.

" Okay class, Quite down" I hear Mr. Cain shout as everyone stops talking almost immediately. " Get your books out to page number 801." He says very much in his normal mean monotone voice he has. " Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." I hear Jonah whisper into my ear. This makes me laugh but I have to keep it quiet or else Mr. Cain would call us out real fast. " Just like everyday" I hear Jessica tell me to. I guess she heard what Jonah said because she adds on to it. Jonah is sitting to my left of me and then Jessica to the right of me. Next to her is Mark.

" First things first, as a lot of you guys know about the supernatural plan that's coming to the school." Mr. Cain says to us as you can hear a couple of rude noises come from the crowd. One of the rude noise comes from Jonah. When I hear this I give him a small shove. I know Jonah has been raised completely different than what I have. I was raised to know that everyone is the same and no one is better than anyone else. Jonah was raised to know that wolves are better and superior then any other species.

" Okay Quiet, I didn't ask for opinions. As you know the school is going to look a bit different in the next couple of years. By the end of your last year, you should be expecting to go to school with Poltergeist, Vampires, Angels, Demons, and Wendigos. Listen I have heard that most of you don't like the fact of bloodsuckers come to school here. It's time for us to get over ourselves and let people come into this same school. If anyone says anything about this plan in front of me I will give you a lesson on selfishness and how to care for other people besides yourself." He says to everyone. Well, dame. I guess we know how he feels about this.
