《Baki the grappler(various) X reader》Hanayama Kaoru (2)

It was a slow afternoon and you were in geography class, paying little to no attention to whatever the teacher was explaining on the board. Looking out of the class windows in a daze you had a flashback to yesterday night's encounter with The Hanayama Kaoru of the Hanayama gang. Just by remembering how tall he was and the man being thrown across the street was enough to make you shudder, but at the same time you felt really grateful that he was there that night of not you wouldn't have imagined how you were getting out of that mess.
“(Y/N)!” you snapped out of your thoughts at the sound of your name. As you looked up you saw your geography teacher with a frown, glaring down at your seated form. “(Y/N) (L/N). You better pay close attention to what I'm jotting down on the board right now or I'm going to have to make you stand outside at the hallway, young lady.” you quickly apologized, feeling the rest of the class's eyes on you. You let out a sigh as the teacher continued to drone on and the class turned back to the front, you secretly hoped you could see him again.
After the last bell for the day rang, you packed up your things and slowly made your way downstairs to the main door of the school. Walking out of the school gates and wondering what to cook for your own dinner, since you lived alone it wasn't a problem to make your own decisions. Passing by a liquor store, the door to the shop suddenly opened and out stepped lo and behold, Hanayama walked straight out of the store with a bottle in hand. You felt a blush creeping up your face when he turned his head to your direction, “Oh hey its you.” he greeted stoically, eyes not moving from your smaller form. “Hello! Haha didn't think we'd meet so soon.” you quickly replied, praying he didn't see your blush. “So uhm... Whatcha up to?” trying to make this encounter less awkward than the first by starting a conversation with him. The two of you walked down the streets, the evening sun beating down on the roads and buildings as you and Hanayama exchanged words.

Too caught up in the conversation the two of you were having about martial arts, you didn't realize that you had arrived at the front door of your house. “Well its nice getting to know you and uhm thanks for kind of accompanying me to my house. Uh hope we meet again!” you smiled. His face seemingly remaining emotionless, but you swore you saw a slight smile formed on his lips. “Of course we will, only if you want to...” he trailed off quietly on the last part, glancing to his side. “Yeah! Of course I want to! You're a cool guy! Wanna meet at the park this weekend?” you said that almost to enthusiastically, your eyes gleaming like a little puppy. Well, at least that's what Hanayama thought you looked like at the moment. “Sure thing.” he chuckled at your enthusiasm. Bidding each other goodbye as he went on his way and you finally stepping into your house. Closing the door behind you and sliding down against it, you still couldn't believe that you just “kinda” asked him out.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
