: Been busy IRL so couldn't find the time to start a new novel so I just go rereading my favorite arcs. Lol. This one is pretty short and am starting to move on from my BL Cultivation Phase (Reread Legendary Master's Wife, I've Led the Villain Astray and I Have Medicine. Lol) so decided to try it~~

So our MC transmigrates into a mob character of a 70's novel. Life is hard in the countryside but the original was still spoiled cos she's the only daughter in the family. Before, the original fancied ML cos of his looks and forced an engagement. Laters, ML went back to their village cos he was injured and was discharged from the military so the original wanted to back out on the marriage. In the novel, the original eloped with a scum man and ML was alone for life~

MC transmigrates when ML just came back to the village and her parents are arguing whether to let her marry ML or not. MC also finds out she has a 'Matchmaker System' which would give her rewards if she finishes the tasks given (mostly money or food rewards). Our MC is a foodie so of course, she agrees. She also thinks its okay to marry ML cos if they really don't work out then they can always divorce. So she starts doing the tasks and also get closer to ML in the process.

ML is rebirth. He thought he would live a lonely life again this time but he finds out that his fiancee seems to have change. So he also starts to look forward to the married life~

Then they get married, more tasks, more loveydovey~ some in-laws problems (ML's side) and family problems on MC's side (Her brother's wife is dissatisfied cos she is still her parents favourite even after she married out), she also meets the villainess stepsister of the heroine and laters, the heroine of the novel; And then there's also ML's identity which is actually switched-at-birth which explains why his parents was so horrible to him. Laters, MC also told ML about her System and transmigration which caused ML to worry that she might also suddenly transmigrate back so he asked for all her life details. This is gonna be useful later.

Extras is life after ML 'recognized' his real parents and also MC becoming preggo and ML becomes even more hen-pecked XD then life with their little bun and little bun's POV of his parents loving relationship till they die.

Last Extra is MC going back to her world. She's sad cos No ML and No System but then she slowly loses her memories of it and just always felt that something was missing. ML also transmigrates in the body of a rich second generation, the System is with him this time and asked him to get 100% love/affection of MC and it will reward him a pill that can restore MC's memories. He slowly raises her affection by being a 'fan' online (MC is a writer) and then they get setup as blind dates. MC's affections rise for ML of course and at the end of the day, she's ready to marry him. Lol. When MC affection reached 100%, ML quickly exchanges for the pill and then give it to MC and then they get together again in this life~

It's pretty sweet, its cute how ML always blushes about little things with MC. And the System tasks also add a lot of sugar in their daily life. I guess what impressed me the most was the 70s time. Like wow, life is hard and you're not allowed to 'sell' things (No to capitalism?) MC's small business of selling snacks to friends was even reported. Even when making buns, they have to do it in the dead of the night and secretly sell things in the black market.

Aside from the switched at birth, MC and ML are really ordinary. After being recognized by his parents, ML joined his dad's factory and became an officeworker, MC became a writer and they live their lives together. Its just cute when MC acts spoiled to ML~ Its really mainly focused on the couple's life, so no getting rich schemes, business management etc. (No poor-to-rich tags).
