Set in the 70s. Our MC gets sent to the countryside as an educated youth. She lived there for 5 years until she died alone of sickness. Then MC rebirths back to 2 years before her death. In her deathbed during the last life, someone told her that she was only a cannonfodder in the novel. her role was to make trouble in their family to get the Female Lead (her half-sister) get sent to the countryside where she will meet the Male Lead.

MC goes back to the time when she almost drowned, she was rescued by a fellow educated youth (our ML ) and both of them were being gossiped in the village. In the last life, ML also proposed to her but MC listened to her mother's advice not to marry in the countryside, otherwise she will never be able to go back in the City. She refused ML in the last life, and what happened? She died alone. This time, she agreed to marry ML and they lived happily ^^

MC's rebirth almost has no advantages cos she stayed in the village for those 5 years. She was always sick. Her other friends left or already married, so really, no news/future knowledge whatsoever, she never even knew that the college examination would resume, or the other business opportunities like in other 70s novel. (Poor MC T_T) ML is a teacher in the village so he also urges our MC to study cos he wants her to improve herself. Reading more will always be helpful. So our MC & ML lived their married life happily, while ML tutors MC XD. MC didn't contact her family cos she felt that they had already 'abandoned' her. Like in the past life, she never received any food/money or even letter from her family until she died.

MC and ML came from the same City so they went there to meet ML's parents after their marriage. Then she happens to meet the Female Lead and her scheme got revealed. Turns out that all these years, she has been intercepting MC's mail, whether the letters or money, she takes it all for herself. MC Mom (and brothers) was so angry , she directly divorced her husband (Female Lead's Dad). Quick explanation: MC's family is a reorganized family. MC Mom already has 2 kids (Eldest bro and 2nd bro) with her ex-husband. And MC Dad also already has 2 kids (3rd bro and Female Lead) with his ex-wife. MC & the youngest brother are siblings from MC Mom & Dad, the rest are half-siblings. All of MC Mom's sons are on MC's side. After its all resolved, they continue their married life in the countryside. Then the college examination, then the University life, little buns! Anyways, happy family life ^^ When the Female Lead appears again, ML takes revenge for MC.

After graduation, both MC & ML have their own careers, another little bun~ MC builds her own business, other side CPs from their friends and families get married. Timeskip, many many years later, MC & ML decides to hold a wedding (they only held a simple 'wedding' in the countryside and neither of their families were there) to make up. Extras is...a what-if scenario, if it was MC's eldest brother who was reborn. He rescues MC from the countryside and takes her to live with him in the military area. He also revenges for MC. (Love Big Bro!!). MC & ML meet in University and they still end up together~~

I really like it, it has a different style from Back to the Sixties: Farm, Get Wealthy & Raise the Cubs, but its also a warm slice of life in the 70s. Like I said, MC's rebirth doesn't really bring future knowledge with her, the most useful thing is that she prevented ML's accident. #SPOILER ML died in the last life. The rest were all MC's hard work and ML's insight. I like that MC has many friends, whether its her fellow educated youths and or her college roommates~ And we also see them forming their own side CPs ^^ MC's family is also good (Eldest Bro is my fave character!!!!), their interactions are really funny. Same with ML's family, there are no bully in-laws or complicated family relationships. It's not completely smooth sailing, but the problems are mostly small and its usually resolve quietly, so no dramatic faceslapping~ A very nice 70s novel~
