In 1965, Jiang Wan arrived. According to the novel, the original braved the heavy rain to go to the army to divorce her husband. While she was away, her husband's nephews all had accidents and died one after another after the original left. When she came in, she saw three small carrot heads shrinking in the corner of the wall.

Jing Wan sighed, hugged the three little carrot heads and the four of them braved the heavy rain and went to the troops to find Gu Beichuan. The heavy rain caused the river to overflow. On the riverbank, Gu Beichuan saw his wife plunged into the rapids, he thought that she was unwilling to be with him and decided that he would agree to the divorce after he rescued her.

Jiang Wan rescued a fellow villager. She swam back to the shore and took the nearest flood fighter (Gu Beichuan) by the arm: "Comrade, help me..."

Gu Beichuan was surprised, his little wife didn't recognize him. "The flood is so big, what do you take your children to the army for?"

Jiang Wan frankly told him. "There is no food at home, go to the army and find my husband, Gu Beichuan."

After the flood fighting was over, Jiang Wan came to the army. She saw the officer who gave her a hand in saving people, saluting her. "Comrade Jiang Wan, I am Gu Beichuan."

Hmm.. I kind of wanted to drop this multiple times cos there are so many disgusting relatives XD, but since its only 30+ chaps, I decided to stick with it. It has sweet parts but also faceslapping/troublesome parts.

Our ML is really miserable. His 2 older brothers died, his wife divorced him, his nephews drowned, really miserable. Later, he meets our blind/deaf MC. MC used to be a nurse in the military, got hit by a stray bullet and became blind. They get together, ML goes in a mission, died and donated his eyes to MC, MC can only see his ashes.

Then MC was reborn to two years ago as ML's ex-wife before they divorced. She takes ML's nephews with her to the military compound to live with ML. She didn't inherit the original's memories so she claimed amnesia which is also good cos she has never seen ML so when they met, she didn't even recognize him XD Because of the "amnesia", ML was always worried that his wife would leave him after she regained his memories (cuuttee ML)

Life with the little buns (3 nephews) is good, ML is also very shy but loving ^^ Trouble comes from ML's family. ML has a fake white lotus stepmother, all her cousins/nieces from the maternal family are married to military men through her scheming, their whole family has "Military wife" as a career. She wants ML to get divorce so that her niece can marry him and ML's mother's dowry would fall into her hands. Of course, MC wouldn't divorce, she faceslaps her and ruins her reputation when all her scheming is revealed. Her cousins/nieces also make trouble with MC but MC outwits them all.

Then there is MC's family, she already has her parents (original's parents) and there is also her family from the past life. In this life, she was never born (her mother got miscarriage), everything is the same, except that there is an extra younger brother (took MC's place). His eldest brother married the same wife but her second brother married the daughter of ML's fake white lotus stepmom. MC cares for her family so when something happens (another incident of disgusting relatives), she also intervenes. Later, she confesses her identity/rebirth to ML also as an explanation why she cares so much, and for her amnesia.

Back in the military compound, MC takes a job, which is also a kind of mediator for disputes so she has to deal with disgusting/shameless people from time to time and battle with shrews. She also gets 'dreams' of the future so she knows that later she will have a daughter and ML will have an accident during the mission. She informs ML so ML is ready and well-guarded and he leaves for the mission. MC stays at the compound while pregnant, ML's relatives trouble her again, she solves them. ML comes home and she gives birth to the daughter. Didn't find the raws for the Extras, but its about MC & ML's past life.

Quite short. There are faceslapping of shameless people/relatives, its like a battle of who is more shrewish, which was kind of surprising if you look at MC's past-life family. They are all quite...mellow/more soft-tempered. There was an explanation for MC's rebirth which is just more confusing for me (I wish they just didn't explain it XD). #Spoiler This is a book. ML's ex wife was a transmigrator, she married ML and told him that his 'real wife' would come five years later, that's why the divorce, but since it was BE in the first life, she made MC rebirth to fix it and the price is that...it would be like MC never existed in the world. My question is...why didn't she just introduce MC & ML in the first life? Become a sort of matchmaker between the two instead of marrying ML herself??? I feel like there may be other ways to promote MC & ML's Happy Ending from behind-the-scenes. Lololol.

Overall, this is for readers who enjoy faceslapping, you get so many examples of shrewish wife. Possible reco is Get to Know about Wife Fan, a bit similar to the MC being reborn as another person in the same world, and everything about her would vanish (like she never existed)~
