Their life was hard in the City but compared to the countryside, of course, they are more well-off. MC had bloodsucking relatives, ML has some as well. Both of them let their families leech off them so they became more and more greedy.

In the first life, MC was the typical submissive housewife, she never told ML the problems she encountered or her own opinions. Gradually, ML stopped asking her and just made all the decisions for their family. Since MC never told her about the troubles of their family (since she did not want to add to his worries), ML felt that MC's life as a housewife is very easy. Laters, MC had a second daughter but she let ML's colleague adopt it so they can try again to have a son. They did have a son, and MC doted on him more, causing him to be more...delicate/sensitive and ML disliked him. The second daughter was also 'returned' to their family after her adoptive parents divorced. Because of the family environment, the eldest daughter grew up and did not want to get married, the second daughter hated them for giving her away and the sensitive son also did not grew up happily.

When MC was reborn, she was already pregnant with the second daughter. She did not want to be a housewife again. So she signed up for college, and opened a small company then began to have a career. She became more involved in the education of her daughter. Slowly, she changed her husband's impression of her. Of course, ML underestimated her at first but as MC's company grow step by step, they began to have discussions before deciding things and he would sometimes listen to her. He felt proud for having such a capable wife and daughter and would show them off to others XD

On their bloodsucking relatives, MC took care of hers. Instead of giving them more money cos their family is the richest (which is what they did in the last life), she would just give them the same amount that her other siblings gave them. Everything is fair and equal. She learned to say 'no' to their requests if it was unreasonable or taking advantage of their family. She just gave enough, not less or more. And surprisingly, their family became more harmonious.

On ML's relatives, if ML helped them, MC would not stop him but she would tell him her opinion, for example, ML's nephew can't stand hardships and would surely ran away. or hiring ML's brother-in-law in ML's company is just asking for trouble. After ML is slapped in the face again and again. He also learned to say 'no'. Of course, he is still softhearted (ML is the only son in the family so he takes care of his sisters) and if they are worth helping, MC would also help them by teaching them to be more self-reliant, giving advise and not just money.

Extras is (1) side CP of the eldest daughter's rich classmate (lololol), the guy thought her family went bankrupt cos she was working as a receptionist (she was looking for easy work) and eating in his restaurant where the food is cheap (she was just trying the money-saving way she heard from her colleagues XD) (2) There was also the eldest daughter's side CP who was a classmate since elementary school or junior high who has been waiting for her all these years (Daughter is still a little afraid of marriage) and (3) then the second daughter getting a job as a live broadcast anchor and then MC and family going to the countryside to avoid the COVID breakout plus having a minor surgery and becoming nervous (MC died in a minor surgery in the last life)

This is nice. MC is a career woman but she's not really 'sharp' or aggressive. Aside from changing herself, she also slowly changed ML thru it. In the last life, she never told ML her troubles cos she did not want to 'burden' him. After getting home from work, she would serve ML wholeheartedly cos 'he's working hard outside for the family'. Some people would always appreciate it and cherish their wives. While some people, as time goes on, would gradually take it for granted and think that "it should be.". Unfortunately, our ML happens to fall into the second category. So in this life, since they are both working, MC would also ask ML to take care of the child if she's busy so ML can know that taking care of children is not as easy as he thinks. This also gave him more participation in the children's education and childhood. When she's unhappy, she would also go on 'strike' and not cook for ML and stuff XD. Except for being conceited and a bit of a show-off, ML is actually quite good, he has his own moral bottom line despite being surrounded by other rich Bosses all year round. And he is also willing to bear the reputation of "being afraid of his wife" XD to get out of messy stuff like being invited to night clubs etc. by the other Bosses.

MC & ML never really had a big fight, at most, they would tease each other like ML disbelieving that MC can still go to college/start a company; or MC mocking ML for his bad investments XD XD XD so ML learned to listen more to his wife. If there's anything missing, I guess its the romance between husband and wife? Cos MC is more focused on her children (cos they weren't close to her in the last life) and her own company so there are few romantic moments between MC & ML (Its funny that ML would sometimes get jealous though)
