Ordinary youth Tao Ran was forcefully bound by a 'system' to save the vicious villainess in a novel world. His original idea was to complete the task and bring home the reward money. Later, during the mission, he slowly came into contact with the villainess. He (Tao Ran) began to realise that no one was born vicious, and that the so-called vicious villainess also had a distressing side...

Mixed feelings. The arcs are okay/interesting, its MC's attitude/change of attitude that sometimes lower(?) my impression.

So our MC is this ordinary office GIRL who gets bound to a System to save various vicious supporting female leads from blackening. She gets turned into a guy (genderbend) and then goes into mission worlds.

- ​MC becomes a cannonfodder small star who used to be highschool classmates with the heroine. The vicious FL (domineering female President of their entertainment company) asks him to seduce the heroine. Becomes BFF with the male lead instead and assisted him in taking down the heroine. HE.

- ​MC becomes a rich second generation abstinent male god. Lol. Took the male lead's place and was 'bullied' by the supporting FL in his stead. Seduced the vicious FL with his beauty XD HE.

- ​Cultivation world. MC becomes the unfeeling Sword Sovereign, master of the heroine. When the heroine is kidnapped by the Demon Emperor, he also kidnaps the Demon's Emperor's Left Arm, the vicious FL in exchange. They become Daoist companions. BE.

- ​School setting. MC and ML are twins who both liked the heroine. Vicious FL is the ML's seatmate. MC debunks the vicious FL's misunderstanding early so she won't blacken. He also interfered with her life so she can escape from her abusive mother, which resulted to the vicious FL almost dying. MC starts to wonder if he is being a little too...caring/intervening too much on the vicious FL's life (outside of the mission). Belated HE.

- Ancient times with female and male switching roles. The females are more superior...and the males are like the little 'wives'. MC transmigrates into a male pet of the vicious FL, one of the female Emperor's royal sisters. HE for them. BE for the main couple.

- ​Cultivation in modern world. MC is an old ancestor who just left closed cultivation. Heroine, male lead and vicious female lead are friends. Both girls like the male lead, male lead chooses the heroine. In order to prevent the vicious FL from blackening, MC pretends to be her System, giving her task to be a good person in exchange for items. HE.

- ​Modern world. Story of a rich male lead and poor heroine who wanted to be together. Heroine was raeped and ML Mom uses that as reason to disagree and they break up. Vicious FL becomes ML's GF and when they're about to get married, the heroine shows up again and the ML comes running to her. MC is the heroine's supposed 'raepist' #spoiler He's not. He was framed. HE. BE for the main couple.

- ​Science and Religion are separated. ML is in religion side. Vicious FL is on the science side and wants to pursue ML. ML hires the world's #1 killer as bodyguard. MC is the #1 killer. BE :(

- Rebirth heroine steals ML from the vicious FL. (They were already engaged) MC is the ML's younger brother and gets together with his almost-sister-in-law XD. HE. BE for the main couple.

​- Interesting setting. People suddenly gain abilities but they lose their fertility/can't give birth to offsprings. Ordinary people also gain abilities if they get into contact with them too much so ordinary people began to wage war/eliminate those with abilities. ML is the leader of the ability people, heroine is an ordinary person from the government. Vicious FL is the ML's right arm. MC is a newly awakened ability person, pretends to be vicious FL's younger cousin. BE. (Urggh. Hate the ML)

- ​MC returns to reality and has already become somewhat bent/can't interact with girls normally anymore. Gets recruited by the System to work part-time and be a temporary System. She then gets sent to the previous worlds she used to have missions in, and meets the previous vicious FLs. Finally, when she became a regular employee, she went back to the cultivation world again (Arc 3).

​It's okay. MC's usual routine is to let the Male Lead and Female lead get together early and then be together with the vicious FL so she won't blacken. It was a lot of fun at first. MC is very cheerful, sunshiny, she also gets a lot of little wolfdog/younger love interests roles. It's just that after cleansing her feeling again and again after each mission, MC is affected. In a funny way, you can say that she is becoming more and more of a straight man/dense, but actually, she is also becoming more and more...unfeeling. Rather than the happiness of the vicious FL, it became more about completing her own mission. It's okay as long as the vicious FL don't blacken. #spoiler Like with the religion/science arc. MC obviously can be saved but she chose not to cos anyway, since the mission is already completed, no longer caring how the vicious FL would feel.

I don't usually read yuri/lily/shoujo-ai so the genderbend threw me off. I guess its similar to BL when the Host accidentally becomes bent during mission, only here, our MC became bent because the System put her in a male body. And she lived so many lifetimes in one that when she gets back to her own body, she's unaccustomed and confused about her own sexuality. So yeah, why not just be yuri? or why not let the MC be male from the start? Cos aside from the first few arcs, our MC's heart has become more and more...male so the genderbend lost its function as the comedic point. If anything, I guess it makes it easier (?) to ​gloss over the rape. I mean, reverse raep is common, (vicious FL 'attacks' MC) and its frequently brushed off since 'MC is a girl inside anyways'.

Still, it was fun to read in itself (if I ignore the genderbend tag) especially the HEs. Fave arc is Arc 4 (school setting) & Arc 9 (ex-sister-in-law). Read this for (female inside) male god worldhopping to various novels~~
