"It's finally here," the man with the sword said in an echoing whisper.
"The Tower of Choice, the last floor!" the band of five exclaimed together in response.
Angelica came down from the altar, her expression drowsy as if she found it very annoying. Then, she looked us over.
"I'll tell you again, but you've been working hard so far. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to go up to the hundredth floor by myself"
[Dominating Touch (Rank: SSS, Active)] "All of you die."
Thud!
One by one, they fall to the floor.
Angelica's dagger pierced my neck, and I felt a roaring pain and darkness well up in front of my eyes. I was drifting away from my senses and from everything else. After that, I was engulfed by deep darkness.
I was reading Never Die Extra but put it on-hold since I was losing interest so I looked for a shorter KOR novel and found this!
It's the usual setting, dungeons emerged, people get skills, there's a Tower to climb. MC gets this super awesome skill that allows him to see Mana/Skills of other people BUT his body is F-Class, his Mana is like 10 points, but nevertheless, his skill is really useful so he climbs the Tower with his really strong companions (with 50K+ mana) along with the 'Prophet' (Angelica in the synopsis) but when they get there, the Prophet betrays all of them and controls them to kill themselves. Then MC rebirths but in a different body. He still has his Unique Skill in the previous life (Successor's Eye) plus the Unique Skill of the body (Mana Drain) so now, he can put to use all those skills he saw in his last life and he would never have to worry about not having enough Mana to perform it. (OG has 70K+ when he first Awakened).

Although this all seems good and well but there seems to be a conspiracy against OG and someone planted a Curse on him to drive him crazy. MC can suppress it due to his all-purpose Successor's Eye skills, but he wants to remove it for good. Aside from fighting OG's enemies, MC also uses his future knowledge to get good items for cheap while the market still doesn't know how valuable they are, he also tries to find his future companions in climbing the Tower before they experience their tragic backstories. Of course, he is also hunting for the Prophet that will betray them all. Our MC is a busy man~
Hmm... like I said, MC has future knowledge and an all-purpose Successor's Eyes so he also takes the Best Prizes the System could give upon quest completion. Our MC has the best skill, best companions, best weapons/equipment. Not to mention, there are all these evil enemies coming after him and MC loots them of their treasures after killing them. Hmm... more and more OPness. MC practically monopolized all the Quests suppose to be for their whole dimension so who else could be the Chosen One to climb the Tower? Of course, it could only be him.
MC and co. climbed the 'perilous' Tower in their last life in 2 months in this life and successfully connected the Earth to higher civilizations/other planets. Meanwhile, our MC is so perfect, almost all the gods wants his body~~ So aside from being OP because of his skills, our MC also has a 'Divine' title attached to him now. He then saves/helps the exiled gods become 'whole' again and #SPOOOIIILLLEERRRR even became one of the new gods after he defeated one of the previous god which has become evil (MC replaced him). Ending is... MC's previous teammates becoming his followers (MC's a god now) instead and of course, hunting the remaining minions of the enemy MC defeated.

Hmmm.... well, I liked it at first for the usual development. After being a weakling in the last life, MC can finally be OP now etc... BUT I was caught off guard when MC defeated the prophet, like 1/4 into the story. I was thinking, what next??? You've already defeated the supposed nemesis in the story. I thought it would be like a Tower Climb Arc next but MC cleared it sooo fasssttt, what arc? It was a little more than 10 chaps and more about the gods than the Tower. Next, it was just MC being the most awesome Earthling there ever was, and he's hardly even on Earth anymore... The OPness is cool but it's a little too much for me. Helping the previous companions avoid future trauma and nurturing them is good. But MC basically took up the role of one of his companions (the swordsman) and we never hear anything about him ever again. Then there's...monopolizing all the Quest (it can be shared) which should've been the easiest way to gain experience points for novice Awakened of planet Earth. I guess, I was under the idea that MC would make everyone stronger, you know, we all advance together, but it was really more on MC and his friends (but mainly MC) becoming stronger and stronger to the point where the aliens think only MC is good but the rest of the Earthlings are just meh.
Anyways, the MC didn't really clicked with me ^^;
Read this for OP MC and how he becomes a god.
