Hmm... I dunno if I'm just not used to reading BG... or rather, modern BG, but I feel like its all the same routine.

So our manhua artist MC transmigrates into her own work, to the same name vicious supporting female lead that is the male lead's sickly half sister. Our author MC made her same name char​​acter revenge on society, climb beds, seek death and promote feelings between the male lead and female lead. Finally, she was defeated. HE.

After MC transmigrates, she realized just how sickly her same name character is, she vomits blood at every turn! She also gets a golden finger of seeing luck/getting her health nourished if she's surrounded by lucky people. MC also meets her 'children': The book male lead is a cute secret (at first) siscon, while the female lead is reborn and turned from a positive/hardworking small heroine to her mother-in-law version 2.0.

MC also gets caught by our ML who seems to be root of all evil XD, he is surrounded by misfortune that causes MC's health to deteriorate even more, but for some reason, ML thinks they are extremely compatible ^^; Next there is the book-female-lead-turn-into-vicious-supporting-female-lead jumping around being evil. And our overbearing ML whose name we must not speak of XD Our MC is loved and protected by all. She uses her 'seeing luck' golden finger twice to help people who later joined her protection squad.

Hmm... how to say, its extremely sketchy to me for an author-sama to write her same name character to death, and an ugly death at that. Also bad first impression when she first transmigrated and she was being scolded for fainting/vomiting blood. How cutthroat is the entertainment circle that they would force sick people to work ah! There is also the 'sickly' aesthetic that everyone seems to like. It's just weird for me~ Work onscreen as an actress is bad for her health, work offscreen as a secret manhua artist is also bad for her health. Anyway, the book heroine became a template vicious supporting female lead. The ML is NOT a CEO, but he reminds me of the overbearing CEO type where he can cause a company to bankrupt with a word. ALL of the 'big' families are also scared of him (reminds me of SYH from Perfect Secret Love).

Our MC is so sickly and fragile that everyone must protect her. Later, her golden finger 'seeing luck/badluck' setting was discarded/not used anymore and it feels like such a waste. And I still don't know how MC and ML manage to be compatible when one have heavy misfortune while the other needs luck in order to survive. It would make more sense to me if the ML is extremely lucky and the MC latched onto for him that.

Overall, its not bad, but there are no surprising points for me. I really liked her golden finger but it wasn't used that much :( I was actually hoping for something like My Weibo Page is Able to Tell Fortunes, a mix of entertainment circle/supernatural abilities(?). But here the focus is really more on entertainment circle/MC's actress/manhua artist secret identity. And the 'luck' setting that I like was not mentioned anymore. Would try to look for something like that~ Hopefully BL.
