So I heard that this was similar to Please Confess to Me. so decided to check it out. Hmm.. it is, a bit. In the sense that the female lead/wife is reborn and before that, she never knew how much her husband loved her.

So our MC married ML after a short blind date. They've been married for a few months, and its a cold marriage. Then they get into an accident and ML dies protecting MC. He also left all his property to MC after his death. Looking thru ML's relics, MC finds out that they were actually highschool classmates for a year, when MC was 'demoted' to ordinary class cos she was sick during final exam. Then MC was reborn at the start of that year.

She finds out that ML was actually poor and that he stutters so he was being bullied by his classmates. Of course, our MC defends her future husband and treats him kindly. ML already has a crush on MC so every little thing MC does makes him happy. Some highschool intrigues which are resolved quickly, MC & ML 'dating', with MC being the more active one in pursuing/finding ML, until there was a small misunderstanding and they finally confessed and officially became a couple. They were still a couple in college, but they were in a long distance relationship since MC went abroad as part of an exchange program. And then meeting the parents (MCs), the wedding etc. Extras is their life after marriage, and then the past life (when they met thru blind date) from ML POV and then MC was reborn after the accident but ML did not die but was just seriously injured, they also had their HE.

Hmm... its okay, but I still prefer Please Confess To Me. How to say, our ML is soo.. humble here, super low self-esteem, so it feels like MC is doing charity by being with him (sorry!). It was cute at first, I mean, they were just classmates, the bullied guy and the popular girl--teenagers overthinking everything--but even after they were 'dating' or when they were officially together, our ML is still very very insecure. He even cried and told MC not to leave him just because MC said "We need to talk" =_=;

There's also MC's rebirth just revolving around ML. In the previous life, MC's Big Bro died in a plane crash so she had to give up her music major and take up finance instead so she can inherit the family business. In this life, after preventing Big Bro from riding a plane for a month, our MC basically doesn't mention him again. She lives off-campus in a rented house so her family isn't with her, but considering that Big Bro is now alive and well, you'd think MC would cherish him a little more. Same with her music dream. There were instances when MC would make important decisions with ML as priority. Like going back to the key class/advanced class when her grades improved, she was thinking of staying at the ordinary class just to be with ML. Or that exchange program abroad which she almost gave up cos 'she can't bear ML'. What happened to your dreams girl? MC was so snarky to her Mom cos her mom made her give up her music major in the previous life but now, she is thinking of missing a great opportunity because of a man. I mean, she is sorry for ML, since ML loved her so much, he died for her BUT this is a second chance at her life, but MC only has ML in mind, its like all those regrets when she was just newly reborn vanished, MC only has love in the brains. Good thing ML didn't stop her from studying abroad/pursuing her dreams.

Overall, this is just okay for me, very sweet and ML is cute (and pitiful), with him cherishing every word/action/gift from MC. MC comes off as a bit Mary Sue-ish to me, which is not bad, she just feels a little too perfect in the descriptions. I never saw her do, like, ANY self-reflection on their previous marriage, why is it cold like that, why is ML so insecure unlike in Please Confess to Me, where the MC admitted that she was also at fault. ML and her both has part of the blame for their failed marriage. Uhmm.. but yes, its an okay read, the MC's personality just didn't click with me~
