《Infected [killugon/killuaxgon]》Meet up

After getting out of bed, I sigh, ready to embark on the day. I groaned as I walked over to my closet, stubbing my toe in the process. "Frick!" I yell as I jump up and down, holding my foot in my hands. As soon as my foot felt better, I changed into my everyday clothes.
Getting stuff done today is my goal.
____________
I was sprawled out on the couch, trying not to fall asleep again. I reach out to my phone which laid on the coffee table, slightly on the edge, as if tempting me to grab it. I reach out, only to realize it was just out of my reach, and I was much too comfy to get up. I reached out a bit more, only grazing the phone with my fingertip. I scoffed and reached out swiftly, knocking me off the couch in the process. I now lay on the floor, but could easily reach my phone. I angrily grabbed the device, noticing on the lock screen that it has only been around 10 minutes since I had gotten up that morning. I groan loudly and place the phone back on top of the table, getting up and heading back to my bedroom.
After I grabbed my belt which had already been stuffed with throwing knives, I threw my bat over my shoulder and left the building. 'I remember a trailer park that used to be over this way, quite an open area. There must have been a few walkers there.'
The trailer park wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. After closer examination, I saw a trailer that was completely surrounded and quickly realized that I had been mistaken.
It was unclear why they were circling the trailer. 'There couldn't have been anyone in there, couldn't there? Who would survive in a trailer of all places?-' Just then something had bumped into me.

One morning, as I was still half asleep, I heard a bunch of screeching, moaning, and grunting. I yelled, "Five more minutes!" But it didn't seem to suppress whatever was making the sounds.
As my eyes grew wide in realization, I jumped up out of bed and peered out of the window.
The thought of fighting all of them at once made me dizzy, and I developed a severe headache. While gathering my things, I heard a loud banging coming from the entrance, as if someone was desperate to get in. The only problem was that the door was as thin as the walls. Paper-thin.
My pace quickened as I swung my backpack around my shoulders and grabbed my crowbar. 'The door is an obvious no-go, But the next best thing would be... the sunroof!' I thought, as I quickly climbed into the countertops and reached up to the sunroof door to open the latch. Upon pushing open the latch, The door was as good as gone and had fallen onto the floor in front of it, and the crowd of walkers came right after.
Suddenly my heartbeat quickened and I widened my eyes; my complexion became paler by the second. I lifted myself up through the roof door when a walker clutched my leg forcefully and bared its teeth. I thrashed my leg rapidly around, forcing the walker to loosen its grip on my calf as I pulled myself onto the roof completely, and secured the latch closed after me.
I couldn't stand here as the place was shaking from underneath me, so I did what I thought would be best.
I jumped.
Fortunately, there was a nearby tree that I could land on. Having been on the branch and seeing walkers in front of my house, what else could I have done but jump? My feet hit the ground this time, and I made a run for it. Since I was not hurt, the walkers would not likely smell me.

I was far enough away from them by now, so I could silently celebrate.
'They were stupider than I thought-' As I bumped into something, my thoughts were interrupted. Neither of us fell over, so I looked over to see a boy who looked about my age but was a bit shorter than me. At first, he looked at me, then back at my trailer before audibly gasping and grabbing hold of my arm.
"Follow me!" He said while leading me somewhere. He seemed to have noticed that he was still holding my arm, so he let go to give me more space to move around. He ran ahead, assuming I could keep up. 'I guess he is pretty fast. It would almost be a tie if we raced one on one.' Maybe this is what I need.
Finally, we slow down and stop in front of what appears to be a cafe. He opened the door, and as soon as we were inside, he closed and locked it. With my hands resting on my knees, I panted while he slid to the floor, his hands holding him up for support, panting as well.
As we both caught our breath, he asked, "Where you bit at all?" I recalled when a walker grabbed my leg, however, failed to lay even a scratch. "Nah, ill be fine." I smiled, standing up straighter. His lips slightly curled, "Great. What happened back there, by the way?" He asked, in reference to my trailer.
I explained how I had woken up to the noise, and how I had escaped through the sunroof after they had gotten inside, and made a leap of faith from the roof to the tree. "I'm glad you're alright. Hey, if you need a place to stay, this place is always an option." He smiled as he spoke.
My eyes widen as I consider the offer. 'Is it really smart? What if I become attached and something happens to him? I won't have the strength to go on. Though he must have some talent to have survived this long.' I argued in my head. 'Although, I am getting slightly lonely.'
"Sure. Could be fun." His smile only grew wider. "Okay, do you want anything? How about some food?" He asked with a mixture of politeness and excitement. "Yeah, sure. I'm starving, do you know how to cook?'"
In response, his eyes sparkled. "Of course! I know how to make almost everything on the menu." He said with pride. His smile was contagious, so I smiled as I told him that bacon and eggs would be just fine.
Having asked him if he wanted anything to eat, so right now I am cooking bacon and eggs for him. Now that I think about it, I don't even know his name.
When I finished making his food, I walked out of the large downstairs kitchen to see him sitting on one of the chairs with his feet propped up on a table.
"Here you go," I said, hoping he would tell me his name afterward. He kicked his legs off of the table and sat up straight. "Killua. and you?" He asked, holding his hand out for me to shake it. "Gon. nice to be of acquaintance." I placed his plate down beside him and shook his hand.
