《Infected [killugon/killuaxgon]》Runaway

I sat up from the hard floor, stretching and yawning briefly. I took a look around the room, unimpressed by the fact that no one else was awake. I stood up and left the room, closing the door behind me. I stumbled down the hall and into the living room, collapsing onto the couch and falling asleep once more.
I was shaken awake by leorio and found myself confused a split second later. "How did I get out here?" I grumbled as I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
I looked around, and everyone was in front of me besides Hisoka, Gittarackur, and... "Where's Killua?" I Inquired. They all exchanged a brief glance before returning to me. "We assumed you were aware?" Ikalgo claimed, and everyone was now dumbfounded. "He had to have left somewhere for some reason. I'm certain he'll return shortly." Bisky reassured by extending her thumb in the air.
A moment later, Gittarackur and Hisoka emerged from their shared bedroom, which none of us had seen beforehand, and I promptly mentioned, "Have you seen where Killua had gone? He kind of disappeared."
Hisoka grinned, and I had no idea what Gittarackur was thinking under that mask. "No, I have no idea where he could be right now. He left shortly after midnight yesterday night, and I'm sorry to tell you that we are to blame." Gittarackur confessed as he crossed his arms across his chest.
What were they sending Killua to do? Why at such a late hour? For what objective? Why are you sorry to tell us this? My mind was racing with questions, but I only managed to utter one. "When will he be back?" I was now standing, waiting for them to tell me where he was so I could go find or help him.

Hisoka chuckled faintly and nudged Gittarackur on the arm. "Killua, you see, told us last night that he was substantially stronger than all of you combined, and that he was too good for all of you. He laughed about it as if he were mocking all of you. He undoubtedly packed his belongings and left soon after." Gittarackur sighed, as if he, too, was saddened.
No way, Killua would do something like that. He liked me, didn't he? He would never have abandoned us in such a way. I refuse to believe either of these guys considering they are both lying. I know Killua...
"Wow, did he actually say that about us?" Ikalgo mumbled, a crease growing across his brow. "After all the time spent with him, and this is how he treats us?" He raised his voice slightly, his tone tinged with rage and disbelief. "Perhaps all that time we spent trying to get to know one other was for nothing."
"Hey, Ikalgo and Bisky? Do you think Gon and Leorio would behave similarly since Killua had behaved this way after everything we've gone through? They were all together when we met, after all. They must share common views." Zushi said, now glaring at me and Leorio.
"Hey, you all know Killua would never do something like that, right? We wouldn't either. We can get this figured out-" "No, perhaps we don't know if he'd do something like that. After this, I'm not sure I can trust either of you." Bisky cut in, frowning.
"Come on, we can't tolerate traitors here." Bisky hissed as she stomped out of the house, dragging the two boys with her. I looked across at Leorio, who returned my gaze and placed a hand on my shoulder. "We don't need them. If they can't trust us, perhaps we shouldn't trust them either. Killua, no matter how much of a brat he is, would never do such a thing." I could only frown as Leorio smiled.

Hisoka's eyes were big and he was grinning from ear to ear, cackling and covering his face with his hands on the other side of the room. "Oh, this is fantastic." He exhaled, returning to his usual smirking demeanor.
I scowled and stepped towards them, gently nudging Leorio's hand off my shoulder. "I'm convinced this isn't the truth. Why did you lie to us?" They practically towered above me, their emotions unreadable.
"Ah, I believe his partner should be aware, shouldn't he?" Hisoka inquired, his gaze fixed on Gittarackur. "It's only logical that the two who had kept him unharmed are aware of the situation." They spoke, relishing my angry expression.
"Well? What's the truth then?"
"Killua has never said anything like that about any of you. Actually, I informed him that you had said that about him." I could hear his grin from behind the mask, which increased my rage by the second. "Was that the reason he left?" I inquired, my eyes narrowed. Surely he wouldn't believe I'd say that about him, right?
"No, not in the slightest. Tell me, has he ever told you anything about his family relations?" Gittarackur asked, prompting me to reflect and pause. "No, nothing very noteworthy. Why are you asking me this question?"
"Why, because I am well acquainted with his domestic background. Why he left, was his choice. I assume it's because I am part of the reason he loathes his family. I am his eldest brother, you see." Gittarackur then proceeded to remove his mask, innocently smiling down at me as I stared at his face for the first time in shock. "My birth-given name is Illumi."
I clenched my jaw and my fists. This creature has absolutely nothing in common with Killua. For one thing, except for their pale complexion, they share nearly no other features. Killua was far more likable than Illumi. What could he have done to have Killua fear him so much?
"I hid behind the mask because I didn't want Killua to recognize me and leave at first. Why can't he see that all I've ever done has been for him? I strengthened him and taught him everything he knows today. Why was he so afraid of me?" Illumi frowned, clearly troubled and slightly sad.
I was stunned; there was nothing I could say at the time. So I grabbed Leorio's hand and started heading through the door before pausing midway. "You will be sorry for whatever you did to Killua. Illumi, I hope you die a horrible death. You are a pathetic excuse for a brother." And walked out the door, my feet stomping.
I let go of Leorio's hand and groaned weakly when I realized the car had gone vanished, along with all of our weapons. "What exactly has he done, Leorio? What should we do now that Killua is missing?" I began to walk down the road, quivering.
"Don't be worried, Gon. Everything will be back to normal soon. Killua will be OK, I'm sure. We'll figure things out."
"I sincerely hope you're right, Leorio. Let's find somewhere to stay for the night."
