《Laughing Jack X Reader》Chapter 25

Quite some time passes and I was still alone in the room with LJ still unconscious. I began to shiver at how cold the room was and being inside a metal cage just made it worse.
I couldn't stop thinking about what link said. Sitting up onto my knees, I pull down my trousers exposing my thighs, looking at the carving of LJs name.
Was this his intention all along? To pretend to care so I'll lower my guard and he can kill me that way?...
I take a deep breath and sigh. Pulling my trousers back up and sitting back down.
Sure is cramped...
I pulled my trousers up at just the right time, as soon as I sat down I hear the door rattling and someone is trying to get in. I couldn't help but gulp and shake. Shaking now not only with the coldness, but with fear.
Opening the door, the one known as EJ enters, two others that I hadn't seen before following in behind him, closing the door after then. They both wore yellow hoodies one had brown hair with a white mask and black eye sockets. The other had a pitch black mask with red eye sockets, though I couldn't see their hair colour as they had their hood up.
"W-Who are they?.."
I ask as EJ heads towards me and them heading over to LJ.
"None of you business kid."
He growls, crouching down to the cage, his tar dripping sockets seemed to be staring right into my soul.
I look over his shoulder to see the two People unchain LJ and drag him away.
"Where are they taking him!"
I don't even know why I bother asking. It's not like I actually care for him. I just want to go home.

"Theres been a change of plans. We were just going to torture then kill you both. But we've found a different plan that's... well, more fun."
He chuckles in a deep tone, his voice was so menacing. He was definitely the scariest one out of them all.
"Now, be a good girl and sit still."
He says as he reaches into his pocket pulling out a syringe full of liquid.
I instantly start frantically squirming, trying to get away from him in such a small space.
"I SAID SIT STILL!"
He roars, standing up and kicking the top of my cage, causing it to tip and fall over. However, as it does so, my right arm slips through the bars and becomes trapped, breaking under the falling cages weight. The snapped bone piercing out of my skin. Causing me to scream in agony.
But being as I was too focused on my arm, I wasn't paying attention to LJ, I soon feel a sharp pinch jab into my lower back.
I'm not sure what it was, but it was fast acting. As soon as I feel the liquid flow into me, everything starts to become fuzzy before going black.
After injecting the girl, she instantly falls unconscious. Enabling me to unlock the cage and carry her out, lifting the cage off of her arm.
Stupid pathetic girl.
Leaving the basement, I head up to meet Masky and Hoodie in the forest.
I reach them just in time to witness them both injecting LJ simultaneously.
"Is he ready?"
"He's ready. Just needs waking up"
Masky replies, Hoodie nodding in agreement.
Putting the girl down, I grab a trusty scalpel from my pocket, cutting a small chunk of skin from her broken arm. The skin was torn from the bone bursting through anyway so may as well make the most of it.

"That'll come in handy later."
I chuckle.
"EJ, what's in the syringes ? And why'd you come to get us specifically?"
Masky questions. Hoodie once again staying silent but staring right at me.
"One is a Hunting agent. It will unleash his primal instincts. He'll be like a rabid beast. A killing machine. Hunting any human that comes to his path. Then the other is a bit like an antidote. Must be injected at the same time, but the antidote will only kick in when the hunters one runs out.. and I chose you two as you're more reliable than the idiots in there."
Masky and Hoodie turn to look at each other before turning back to me.
"Ive already prepared the perimeter barrier, one of you Carry her somewhere into the forest. When you return, We wake LJ"

Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod.
