You couldn't hear anything but the sound of liquid. Your body felt wet and cold. Breathing was possible, but each breath took a bit more force. When you opened your eyes it became clear that you were trapped in a transparent chamber. Panicking, you started to bang on the glass but your hits aren't powerful. You look around frantically seeing there were numerous chambers filled with unlucky people. Some looked unhealthy and even had wires connected to their bodies. Your breathing gets out of hand and you begin to choke. Kurotsuchi walked into his laboratory followed by fellow captains. They weren't fazed by any of this, a few of them were intrigued as they approached you.
"Are they alright?" Kotetsu asked, concerned while staring at your frightened form.
"Only dramatic." Kurotsuchi said while turning to face her. He pressed a button and the liquid drained from the chambers. You were on your hands and knees, catching your breath. When you're calmed, you stand up and begin to ask questions.
"Could you please let me go?" Tears started to build as you spoke. It was hard to put on a brave face when you were at a huge disadvantage. Even if you wanted to put up a fight, you were outnumbered so your skill meant nothing.
"They're communicating with us." Hirako called out pointing at you.
"They aren't aware that we can't hear them because it's one-sided, look away if it's too distracting." Kurotsuchi remained with his back towards you.
"Since you're done with your experiments, it's only fair that you release them." Kotetsu wasn't happy nor comfortable with what she encountered. Kurotsuchi rolled his eyes, groaning at her in response.
"What is it that you've discovered? It must've been pretty big if you had us arrive on such short notice." Kyōraku asked.
"I've come to the conclusion that this isn't a human being." He smiled as he revealed the discovery.
