《His Personal Chef》Chapter 14

Winnie sat in the living room as she waited for Damien. It was ten in the morning and there was no sign of him waking up anytime soon. Starving Winnie decided to knock on the door which resulted in getting no response from sleeping monster inside. Winnie could hear loud snores from inside. Does he always snores like that? She wondered.
She knocked the door but got no response. So she decided to go down in the resturant area of the hotel.
She dressed up in a pink dress, grabbed her purse and made her way down.
While walking upto the elevator she collided with someone dropping her purse on the floor. "I'm sorry." The person apologized as he grabbed her purse from the floor. Winnie looked at him specifically wondering if they have already met somewhere before.
"Do I know you?" She asked and the boy looked up. It was Mr Christopher from the other day. Mr Christopher who is one of Damien's partner.
"What a great coincidence, Winnie, was it?" He said extending his hands towards her.
"Nice to meet you again, Mr Christopher." She put her hand on his for a handshake.
"So how are you here, Mr Christopher?" Winnie asked, being curious.
"No formalities with me, Winnie, Just call me Chris; short for Christian." He smiled at her before putting his hand on her back which Winnie found quite uncomfortable.
"Ok, Chris."
"So, Winnie, I suppose you're here to attend the meeting with Mr Jefferson?" Winnied nodded, dumbfounded she didn't know the name of the person they are supposed to meet later today.
"And you?" She asked back.
"I'm here for the same reason." She thought only Damien alone with her; were supposed to attend the meeting.

"And now where are you going?" Asked Chris, his hands still on her back. "I'm starving and Dami..- I mean Mr Knight won't wake up." She blushed as she explained, embarrassed of being hungry.
"If I was Damien, I wouldn't let you out of my eyes. Guess he doesn't really know what has landed to him, does he?" He joked around or so Winnie thought.
"Now it's not very polite to make a starving lady wait. Let's go and fill your stomach with some food, Winnie." They made their way to the food court in the hotel.
Winnie ordered for herself muffin with scrambled eggs and bacon along with a glass of strawberry milk. Chris on the other hand only ordered Carmel Latte.
Winnie questioned him as to why would he just have a cup of coffee for breakfast, he shrugged at that as answered "Not quiet hungry."
When the cashier asked to pay the bill, Winnie took her card out of her bag but before she could tap hers, Chris beat her into it by tapping his card. Winnie was annoyed with that, "Why would you do that?" She asked.
"It's our first date; I'll feel bad if I let the lady pay." Date? Winnie didn't sign up for anything like that.
He laughed it off, "You should have seen your face, hilarious." He smiled before opening a seat for her to sit. 'What a gentleman,' Winnie thought.
"I was just kidding." He said before taking his seat in the opposed direction.
Soon they were served their breakfast. Winnie digged in but felt bad as she saw him just sipping on coffee. It wouldn't hurt to offer him some after all he paid the bill, she thought.
"Want some?" She offered extending her fork towards Chris but he shook his head. "Sure?" Winnie asked again and Chris decided to take a bite, scrambled eggs looked tasty. He opened his mouth waiting directing Winnie to put the bite in his mouth.

She proceeded on feeding him the bite. But before she could put the bite on his mouth she was disturbed, "Miss Smith," Damien stood, looking between them with anger. His eyes were red, he looked ready to attack someone. Winnie dropped the fork and it went directly on Chris' lap ruining his clothes. Winnie looked apologetic but before she could utter any apology she was manhandled by Damien as he grabbed her all the way to the elevator.
"What the fuck was that?" He said as he hit hand on the elevator door as it closed.
Winnied closed her eyes at his anger, wincing at the pain he might he gotten by hitting so hard. "What were you doing with him?" This time his tone was more calm.
"I was going to the food court when I met him in the elevator." She said in a low voice, bearly a whisper. She couldn't understand his behaviour.
"Bullshit," He grabbed her shoulder and pushed her back on the wall of the elevator, hurting her back in the process.
"You're such a whore." He said angrily before storming out of the elevator leaving her stunned.
