Winnie stood in the elevator stunned by his words. Why does he keen on calling her a whore or slut. She fumed in anger, also storming out of the elevator and followed him to the penthouse.
"The heck is wrong with you?" She shouted, not caring who is the boss.
Choosing to ignore her words, Damien said shortly, cutting off the topic, "We have a meeting in 3 hours." He went to his room without bothering with her anymore.
Winnie stood there controlling over her emotions. She didn't want to let Damien walk all over her. He can't live like he's a god. Sure he is powerful but that doesn't mean people around him have to kiss the ground he walks on.
She pinched her nose in annoyance and frustration. She didn't even apologized to Chris for spilling food on his expensive suit. She owe him a suit, she thought, she has to apologise at any cost.
There was a knock on the door. Winnie opened the door to a man with a big trolley filled with breakfast. "Huh?" She wondered. "Mr Knight ordered this." The man told her before leaving. Winnie grabbed the trolley inside, feeling bad that he already arranged breakfast, maybe that's why he was angry that she went down to eat. But why would he call her whore for it.
She shook her head and decided to call him, he hasn't eaten anything.
She knocked the door but as always got no response. Winnie decided to go in. He was sitting with laptop on his lap, "Come eat," She said politely. "I'm in no mood to deal with you right now, Miss Smith, Show yourself out." He curt.
"Its bad to make food wait. Do you know how many people out there in the world are begging for a bite, just a bite of food? People are dying because of hunger. You should be grateful God has provided you with enough money to get yourself something to eat from expensive restaurants but you want to waste it, huh?..-"

"Shut up, woman." He rudely interrupted.
"Then come to eat, please." She pleaded, just feeling bad that she might be the reason he starves himself. What if he faints or something?
He ignored her pleads and continued with his work, "If its because of me..-"
"If you think I'll starve myself for you, Miss Smith, then clearly you're all wrong." Ok then.
"Then why are you not eating?"
"Jeez, woman; I don't eat breakfast, I ordered it for you, happy now?" He snapped rubbing his forehead indicating that she is giving him a headache.
Winnie nodded, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day," She briefed.
"You should have a big healthy breakfast then light lunch and dinner." She went on but he wasn't really paying attention to her. She huffed and finally giving up decided to leave him on his own world.
"The door," She heard as she went out. She turned around to close the door she left opened, he gave her a hard glare, giving her a message through his eyes that how much disturbance she is causing in his life. She closed the door and took a seat on the couch.
Bored. She decided to watch a movie on the 3D smart TV that was placed on the wall of the living room. As she switched on the tv; she felt intense hunger. She decided to eat something from the food. Taking a look at it, It was filled with all kind of different food. She took croissant with a strawberry smoothie and started watching a movie. Moments later she was asleep on the couch.

A loud bang sound woke Winnie up. She rubbed her eyes and looked around at the surrounding. With her peripherical vision; she saw Damien standing, looking at the broken plate on the floor.

He looked at her, feeling embarrassed. Like he was caught up stealing a candy. Winnie couldn't help but laugh at his expression, he was looking like a fool for a grown up man, dumb at this situation. And God did she notice him blushing as he stretched his neck, "You're hungry now?" She said in between her laughter.
She stopped laughing and decided to help him with the plate. She went on, picking the broken plate from the ground, carelessly as she cut her finger through the broken piece. "Ah!" She winced. "Are you stupid?" Said Damien, as he looked at her cut, freaking out.
"It's alright." She murmured. It was just a small cut, big girl like her could take it.
"No it's not, Jesus Fucking Christ, stop being so fucking careless." She winced at that, this time not because of the cut but for his choice of words. Why must he curse so much. "Words," She scolded.
"It's fucking bleeding." He murmered to himself. From his expression; Winnie guessed he was kind of blaming himself for this situation.
He angrily took her finger in his. But the process made butterfly jump in her stomach. This was like the first time he was touching her. She was blushing hard as she looked down. It made her feel weird and all the feeling she had for him years ago seemed like coming back.
He directed her to the couch as he went to grab first aid from the toilet. Winnie moaned in pain as he applied alcohol on her finger. "Be gentle," She whispered, with the sudden feeling of burn.
"It burns," She cried out in pain as he poured more alcohol. "It will be just fine." He said, coldly. Tears flowed her eyes and he shook his head at her. "Stop crying pathetically over small cuts, little girl." He said touching the cut with him fingers she was tingled with excitement.
"No! Don't bandage it." She said taking her hand away as he started covering the small cut with a big sterile bandage. He scowled at her as he took her hand back in his, this time putting a small plaster on it.
