《Got7 Imagines》Mark - Earring

Picking up the earring from the table, you held it in front of your face and admired it. You have been wanting some silver twirl earrings for a while and finally found the perfect pair. However, when you turned the earring to see its price, your eyes widened and immediately put is back down from where you picked it up.
"Why are pretty things always expensive" , you wondered as you rubbed your arms, shivering in the cool summer night breeze.
You were waiting for your boyfriend at the flea market. Mark had texted you earlier in the day, suggesting that they should meet up in the evening since he would finish his schedule early. It had been more than a week since you last saw him and so you quickly agreed.
A colleague at your work had told you about the temporary flea market she went to with her boyfriend, and you immediately convinced Mark to come here as well since you wanted to look around.
You shrugged your shoulders as you felt shivers go down your back. Although you had briefly stopped by your apartment to change, you had not felt a jacket was necessary thinking, "Nah-its warm. I'll be fine" . But now you were seriously starting to regret your decision.
You continued to look at more accessories while you were waiting for Mark to arrive. You had texted him the store name earlier and knew he wouldn't have trouble finding you.
As you were about to pick up another pair of earrings, you felt someone wrap their arms around you from behind and rest their head on your shoulder. Smiling, you reached up and touched their arm with your hand and said, "Hey,"
Mark tightened his grip and replied in a raspy voice, "Hey"

You turned around in his arms so that you were facing him and hugged him properly.
"I missed you," He tells you, giving a light kiss on your neck.
"I've missed you too," You mumble back. Both of you finally pull away from each other and Mark gives you a smile before lightly pecking your lips.
"Are you tired?" You ask, putting your hand in his.
"A bit," Mark admitted, "but I'm glad to see you,"
You smiled at him before saying, "Me too"
Mark's gaze drops to the store you were standing at, and he reaches behind you to grab something. "Aren't these just like the earrings you were wanting?" he asks you.
You turn around to see him holding the same pair of twirl earrings you had wanted, but turned down earlier because it was too expensive. "Yeah" you sigh, replying to his previous question, and then tug at his arm, "Come on. Let's roam around,"
"Aren't you going to get it?" He asked you
You snorted and replied "Yes and I'll just boycott dinner for the rest of the week," which earned you a look from Mark. "Okay, it's just expensive for an earring and I will find it some where else," you say, giving a proper answer.
You tugged at his arm again and said, "Come on. Let's go". Mark obeyed you and set down the earring back on the table, and both of you started walking.
You both walked with your hands entangled together, walking down the flea market and occasionally stopping at some stores, with both of you buying nothing. Somewhere in the middle you stopped for food, having a competition to who could eat the spiciest tteokbokki.

To cut it short, Mark ended up being unable to eat his food because he was laughing too hard at your face turning red.
You both were now walking back towards the entrance of the flea market, your hands still entangled together. You shivered again as another cold breeze blew. Mark noticed you shiver, and brought him closer to you so that he was hugging you from your side.
"You should have brought a jacket love," He told you.
"I know", You replied, pulling away from him, "I'm need to you the washroom,"
Mark nodded at you and you headed towards the washroom. After you finished your business and washed you hands. Walking outside, you went to Mark who waiting for you, on his phone. Sensing you approaching near, he shut off is phone and put it in his pocket asking, "Done?"
You nodded at him. Most of the market was closed off now and the streets were getting emptier.
"You're taking the taxi, right" Mark asked, more like confirming. You shook your head and said, "No. The weather is really nice, so I think I'm going to walk,"
"You sure? It's late now," Mark said, concerned
"Don't worry Mark. I only live fifteen minutes away, I can walk," You told him, but seeing his skeptical face you added, "If it makes you feel any better, I'll only walk on the main road where the lights and cars are,"
Mark was yet not fully convinced but decided to let it go. "Before you leave, I have something for you,"
You raised your eyebrows and tried not to smile. "For me?" you asked. Mark nodded and said, "Close your eyes". You smiled and obeyed, closing your eyes. You felt Mark take you hand put something cold in it. Opening you eyes, you opened your palm to see the earrings you were eyes earlier.
Shocked you looked at Mark, who was smiling at you lovingly. "I got them when you went to use the washroom,"
"Mark...you shouldn't have..."you say, trying to get words out.
"Why? Do you not like them?" He asked, worried he bought the wrong thing.
"No, I love them. But you shouldn't spend so much money on me," You say, having had this same conversation a thousand times.
"Who said I can't buy you pretty things. You're my girlfriend and I'll do anything for my girlfriend," Mark said. You looked at him for a few seconds, before hugging him tightly.
"Thank you so much," You whispered to him.
"Don't say thank you. Now, text me when you reach home so I know you're safe." He told you, both of you still hugging.
"I will"
"I'm serious Y/N. If you don't text me within the next 20 minutes, I'm going to be calling a search party,"

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

The Anthology
This is my collection of short stories. I ask what stories would my audience like to read and write whatever they post in the comments. I strive for more than two dimensional characters and I like to make my stories somewhat unique. The first six entries are my experiment to just write without stopping and see what comes out. They can serve as an introduction for the reader to me as a thinker and writer. Although it should be known that the majority of those entries were written in a foggy state of mind. Entry seven is where my short stories begin.
