《Got7 Imagines》Jackson - Drive

You stared at the bright laptop screen in front of you, your brain unable to function anymore. You had a pounding headache, a runny nose, you were starting to get bags under your eyes and your body was physically exhausted from the past few days.
You loved your job very much, however sometimes it demanded so much energy that it left you wondering if you made the right choice. You were an assistant producer under Team Wang and have had this job for almost two years now.
As much as you had always wanted to work behind the scenes in the music industry, you never realized how much time it demanded, especially when deadlines were near.
You sat up in your chair and stretched your arms as you yawned. It had been one month since Got7's seasonal holidays had started, and Jackson immediately started producing and preparing to release his own solo music. Which meant sleeping for four hours a day and working non stop for the rest.
However whenever you began to pity yourself, your mind always went to the fact that Jackson barely rests and works non stop all year long. That makes you realize how lucky you are to even get proper holidays and rests.
Most of your work was done and there was only a little reviewing left, however you knew that if you went home, you will just end up collapsing in your bed and sleep until your alarm rang the next morning.
You shook your head and lightly slapped your cheeks to make you more focused. You decided you were going to finish this tonight and call in sick tomorrow. That way your boss couldn't even get mad at you as you finished you work.
Taking a sip of water you began typing away and editing on your laptop, reviewing the work you were assigned to do. You were so focused that you didn't even realize the time pass by and soon enough you had completed your work.
Shutting your laptop, you leaned back into you chair and let out a lazy yawn. You sat in your chair for a while, contemplating life. You were extremely motivated to just sleep in your chair but you knew you had to go home. Sniffing, you stood and grabbed your bag.
While you were in the middle of putting your laptop in your bag, someone called out your name, "Y/N?"
Startled, you almost dropped your laptop and jumped around. Jackson was standing in the doorway of the office room which the producers used. You immediately started blushing, embarrassed Jackson saw you scared and nearly drop your laptop.

"What are you still doing here?" Jackson asked you.
You pointed to the papers on your table, to which Jackson looked and said, "I was just working,"
Jackson frowned and said, "Y/N everyone's gone home. And do you realize how late it is?"
"It's not that late. It's only..." Your voice trailed off when you turned to see the time on clock. You knew that everyone had gone home long before and that you had stayed in late but you did not realize how late until you saw the clock ticking nearly 11:10 .
"How are you getting home?" Jackson asked and you could hear the genuine concern in his voice.
"Uh - I usually take the bus and walk a bit, but since the last bus has already gone I'm just going to walk home," You say, quickly packing your bag. You were aware that Jackson was watching you pack your bag and cleanup your workspace, and it made you feel insecure.
"Come on" Jackson said, still standing in the doorway.
"What?" You asked confused
"I'm dropping you off" He stated.
"What?" You said, still confused, "No, it's okay. I can go home by myself."
"I'm not letting you go home alone at this hour," Jackson said, taking a step into the room.
"Then I'll just get a taxi. I will be fine," You say, trying to reassure Jackson.
"It's so late I doubt there will be any taxis out there. And even if they are, I don't trust them with a young, pretty woman," Jackson said.
You narrowed your eyes as you and Jackson had a small staring contest right in that room. You took a deep breath, not breaking any eye contact. You were so busy staring that you had completely missed Jackson calling you pretty.
After staring for a couple more seconds, you gave in, too tired to argue by saying, "Fine"
Jackson smiled and swirled his car key on his finger and exclaimed, "Yes!"
You picked up your bag and smiled and Jackson's childish antics.
"I just need to quickly grab something from my office, so I'll see you at car parking in five minutes," Jackson said, and you nodded.
You started walking towards the elevator as Jackson went into his office. You and Jackson were the same age, him being a couple of months older, yet you barely really talked to him. Although you were always there during meetings, he usually only talked to the directors and producers and you usually did what the producers told you do. After all you were an assistant producer. To sum it up, you really did not have much direct intervention with Jackson and this was the longest you have talked to him alone.

That being said, you were nervous being in the same car as him and hoped you would not end up being awkward. Jackson had always seemed as someone extremely outgoing and easy to like however you chose to stuck to your small group of friends and were shy when it came to meeting new people.
By now you had reached the parking lot and were standing near Jackson's car, waiting for him to come. You took out your phone and began killing time by going on social media.
Jackson's car's headlights suddenly lit and his car made a sound, scaring you.
"Hey," Jackson said, walking up behind you, "Let's go,"
You nodded unsurely and sat into his car as he sat into the drivers seat as well. Putting your seat belt on, Jackson drove the car outside from the basement of the building. Both of you sat in silence and stared at the road straight ahead.
"Thank you," You quietly said
"Don't thank me," Jackson said, not taking is eyes off the road, "It's the least I can do for the members of the Team Wang.
"Ouch. Guess I just got friend zoned", you thought, "Not that I thought of him like that...but still"
"You okay?" Jackson said, snapping you out of your thoughts, his eyes shifting back and forth the road and you.
"Hmm...yes...I'm fine," You said, your brain's functions' shutting down, "Oh-you don't even know where I live."
"I know where you live." Jackson stated. You looked at him surprised and Jackson quickly explains himself, "I- I just heard the producers talking about the area you live in and they mentioned you live there. I don't know exactly where you live,"
You didn't know what to say and awkwardly turned your head to look at the road ahead of you. The car fell in silence, both of you not knowing how to start a conversation.
To escape the awkward atmosphere, Jackson turned on the radio which was playing a soft ballad song. You leaned your head against the window as the song made your eyelids heavy.
Next thing you know, you're being shaken.
"Y/N," Jackson said softly, waking you up by lightly shaking your arm.
You open your eyes and blink a couple of times to process you surroundings.
"I think we're nearby your place," He said. You look around and realize that Jackson had stopped driving and the car was currently parked at the side of a pretty isolated road.
You were pretty much awake now and sat up straight in you seat. You realized you were in your neighborhood and your hand went to your seatbelt as you said, "It's okay. I live really near, I can walk."
"Are you sure?" Jackson asked, and you looked at him. You nodded at him and said, "I'm sure. You should go home and get some sleep too"
You unbuckled your seatbelt and grabbed your bag. As you were opening the door, you muttered a small thank you to Jackson again and stepped out of the car.
You started walking towards your apartment and reached out to loosen your hair from your tight ponytail as you felt your headache creeping back in. You hugged yourself as a small cool breeze blew by and shivered.
"Y/N!" You heard someone calling your name and turned around to see Jackson running towards you.
You frowned and said, "Jackson? What's wrong-"
Your words got stuck in your throat as Jackson reached you and pulled you close to him. Your bodies were against each other and only your faces were apart from each other. He pulled you even closer against him and you could feel his breath on your face. You body completely froze and your eyes were frozen on Jackson as his own eyes moved back and forth between your eyes and your lips.
Jackson leaned in ever so slowly and you gently closed your eyes as you felt Jackson softly press his lips against yours. The sweet moment lasted a couple of seconds and Jackson pulled away, resting his forehead against yours instead.
"I've been wanting to do that for some time. And I know this might seem sudden but I want to get to know you Y/N," Jackson said. You opened your eyes slowly and couldn't help the smile that came across your face. Jackson smiled as well and hugs you properly this time.
Although this was the most you've ever talked to Jackson, you've never felt more comfortable in your life before.
You wrapped your arms around him as well and said, "I'd like to get to know you too"

A quest that just might end up changing the fate of the entire world. ————————————————————————————————————- What do readers say about it? ————————————————————————————————————- "Aethernea is my absolute favorite read on wattpad, I love it as much as I love Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad
