《Stiff Heart || Yugyeom x Reader》Part 10

"One..." I stated, eyes closed. In all honesty, I'm terrified. I have trust that (y/n) will protect us at all costs, but what are those costs? I know we'll be safe, but will (y/n)?
The car door opened and slammed.
"She only has a knife..." Jaebum mumbled.
"Your eyes better be closed like (y/n) said." I scolded.
"They are... I'm...just...worried."
"What if she doesn't come back?" Yugyeom choked and we could sense him crying.
"She's trained for these kinds of things." I reassured them. "She'll know what to do. Trust her. Now continue counting."
"Two..." Jaebum said.
"T-two..." Yugyeom then choked.
"Sorry Gyeom, I didn't think you were going to say anything." I could tell he was trying to lighten the mood, but it didn't work.
I opened the car door after hearing Jinyoung say 'one.' I shut it and ran towards the guys.
"Look who finally came out." One of the guys smirked, tall, tan, and blood-thirsty. I stopped in front of them.
"Ain't smart to hurt your own men." I stated, disgusted at how someone could just betray their own.
"He wasn't any use to us." The other man said. They were pretty similar except one was lighter and darker. "He's dead now, won't be a problem anymore."
"You guys are disgusting." I shifted my knife to my left hand. After which, I proceeded to pull out a pocket knife.
"You're going to fight with those?" They both laughed manically. "How?"
"It's nothing I won't be able to handle. I've fought like this before." They're probably at four right now... at least they should be... I've got to wrap this up quickly.
"I'll make a pretty lady like you a deal." I squinted my eyes.

Deal? With these murderers? Not on my life...but for the sake of Jaebum, Jackson, Jinyoung, Bambam, Youngjae, Mark... and my Yugyeom.
"Maybe I'll consider taking you up on this...deal... of yours. What is it you want?" I clenched my pocket knife.
"If you give me your name, I'll have my men leave you alone."
"Aside from handing the boys to you, that's the last thing I would ever do."
"Wha-" I threw the pocket knife. Fortunately, the knife stabbed right into the tan guy's right arm.
The lighter guy ran towards me, fist about to fly into my face.
"You son of a-" I took a step backwards, extending my left leg outward, causing the guy to miss me by a centimeter and trip over my foot.
"No cussing." I grabbed the back of his collar and pulled him up.
"Don't you dare touch him!" The tan guy ran up to me with the pocket knife in hand.
"Wrong move." I stated, using the white guy as a shield. The face of his friend dropped. It's as if he was a child who got candy stolen from him. His eyes went dead.
I dropped the guy and his friend fell to his knees beside him. "It's just a pocket knife. Won't kill him."
"No it won't, but I'll kill you on his behalf." His hands were outstretched like a zombie, leaving a perfect opportunity for me to punch him in the gut. I went to do an uppercut, but the man saw through me; jumping backwards and lunging when I had my guard down. Before I knew what was happening, I got a fist to the face. I could feel my face swell and the blood running out of my nose.

"Must've hurt your pride huh?" He smirked.
"Must've hurt your wound huh?" I smirked too. He lunged at me once again, but I dodged it.
"Get back here!" He turned around and ran towards me.
"You don't look so hot." The white guy laughed. We stopped mid-fight. Our attention turned towards him.
"Tommy!" The tan guy runs to the white guy. "You suck at fighting. It's your first time doing this and you can't even get up from a stab wound."
"You did stab him pretty hard." I spit a small wad of blood out my mouth. "I reckon they've been done counting by now. I hope they don't see anything." I looked back at the car, tinted windows really are a pain.
Who's that getting out of the car? ...Yugyeom?!?
"(Y/n)! Watch out!"
It was as if time slowed down. Yugyeom and the other two seemed to be rushing or of the car, but it was slow. I felt pain, indescribable pain. I look to my right side. A small camouflage pocket knife was in my side, deeply. I flew far and hit the ground, knocking me back to the normal spam of things. The knife wasn't in my side, but still in the hands of the man.
How did I fly so far?
I muster up my strength and see 'Tommy' in a fighting stance.
He must've hit me... hard...
"LEVI! LEVI!" Jinyoung was trying to get ahold of everyone. I looked and saw, not only three, but seven young men had come out, staring at me. Then at the men, then back at me.
I stood up, clenching my side, and squinting my eyes. I walked to the boys, trying not to limp. They need to know that I can still fight for them.
"Give me the gun." I put my hand out to Jaebum. He immediately obeyed.
"How unfair is this?" Tommy yelled. "Do you see this Jaxson?!"
"Yeah I see it, seems like she's gonna kill us." They laughed.
"What do you mean? Her? Kill us? She doesn't have the guts." They laughed.
I looked at the boys, they had terrified written all other true faces.
"Turn around."
"What if you get hurt again?" Yugyeom asks.
"Did you get ahold of them?" I ask Jinyoung, eyeing my gun.
"Yes they'll be here in about two minutes."
"I'll be able to hold them off. Now. Turn around." Without hesitation, the boys turned. "It'll all be ok." I said before walking to Jaxson and Tommy.
"Your boyfriends won't like you if you kill a man." Jaxson said. I held the gun up to his head.
"My job is to protect them. At any cost, I never once thought I had to murder a man. Never had I had that thought until now, I still hate it. Which is why I'm doing this instead." I lowered the gun to his leg and shot. Next thing I know I fall to the ground and I hear Levi calling my name.

Oracle by Default
Oracles are known as divine handouts passed down from the Holy Creator. There are times when evil exist and the Holy Creator wishes to intervene, to which the title of the Oracle is bestowed upon an individual to become the Creator's will in physical form. The Oracle's mission is to then gather heroes from different races to purge the evil. “For the reckoning that is to come, all are tested. Thou shall be the shadow of which valiant souls shine and guide thee through harsh trials. Till oblivion comes, do not turn astray but to continue down the path thou chosen to walk. Lastly, thou must not see eye to eye with, but against the world.” A mysterious man engraved a seal onto Kihet before saving him from being consumed by the flames. The seal seems to have a strong connection with the legends of the Oracle and a Tower with no entrance that suddenly sprouted near the village. Throughout years, his efforts to study the strange tower remained fruitless. Then one day, the village decided it was time for his friends and him to become envoys to look for the potential evil the Holy Creator detected. Before Kihet can set off on his journey alongside his friends, he has his own set of problems to overcome against the village. Note: It's slow. There is romance, but it plays a small role that I don’t know if I should add it in the tags. Main story starts at Chapter 12. Chapters before do contain meaningful context for the rest of story.
