Amused and entertained laughter echoed throughout the pandemonium as everyone watched the cloaked girl with shock. She sat there, holding into her her stomach as she laugh endlessly while pointing at the so-called Empress of the sea, Boa Hancock, who's whole body is now deemed immobilized by the strange unknown force. Her body, sent a few far away back into her previous position, is now unable to move—causing the Sea Empress to become enrage, but could do nothing except from glaring.
"Heh, She's amusing..." The cloaked girl gasp those words as she tried so hard to contain her laughter, forcing a hand into her own mouth. The shaking of her shoulder showed signs that she's yet to calm down, and thankfully no one dared to complain about her attitude.
A minute or so, she stopped and let out a sigh, her lips thrown into a happy smile as she shakes her head.
"Your attitude are too much irritation." She started, and to everyone's surprised, she acted like nothing happened. "But I do feel the need to get the orb out of your care. Such sacred piece couldn't befall into the hands of a tyrant."
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
The cloaked girl smile, amusement radiating more into her smile when she saw how Boa Hancock managed to get rid of the force that's blocking her mouth.
"She's cynically strange."
Throwing her thoughts at the back of her mind, she smiled.
"Now, how about we start?" The cloaked girl frown, letting out a sigh. No one said anything, causing the cloaked girl to shake her head in response. Again, she flicked her finger and the orb that Boa Hancock have chosen entered the orb.
The mirror made a zapping sound, and everyone stared curiously, expecting something worse when they remembered the warning. However, within the darkness of the mirror, they heard a familiar voice.

"Hey, isn't that?..." Usopp trailed as he turned to Sanji, who sigh.
"We're on God's Island 10,000 meters above sea level."
With a bit blur at first, Luffy and Sanji were shown sitting in a boat while Usopp was the one holding the steering wheel, controlling their direction.
"Indeed. It's that the time." Sanji murmured, grimacing at the memory.
Sanji and Usopp were the only ones reacting with a laced of fear, as Nami curiously stared at the mirror.
"Where is this?"
Robin smiled, "It's in Skypiea, I suppose."
Sanji was looking ahead, "No one knows what kind of strange things are gonna happen."
" Hmmm? Isn't that place Skypiea? " Shanks suddenly asked, feeling nostalgia as he stared at the cloud-like water.
'He knew that place?!'
The straw hats all turned to look at Shanks, causing everyone else to looked at the Red-haired captain. Shanks grinned,
"Me and Buggy have been there before!" Shanks cheerfully stated as he looked at a certain direction, causing a blue-haired clown to grimace as he was met with everyone's eyes following Shanks's trail that got directed to him.
"Shanks you bastard! I'm trying to hide my presence!"
Everyone rolled their eyes at him as Garp crossed his arms and spoke.
"The rumoured Island I'm the sky." He muttered before he grinned, and eventually he burst out laughing. "My grandson has gotten so far that he managed to go above the sky!"
"I didn't know it was real." Ace stated, clearly agreeing to Garp's proud tone.
Sabo nodded as he stared at the mirror with fascination, "I've only read Sky Island in a book."
Luffy raised both of his fist up in the air with an excited grin plastered on his face. "LET'S GO! BALLS!" He cheered.

"He looks excited." Marco said as he watched intently.
"Since when is he not?" Ace mumbled, earning a chuckle from Sabo.
Sanji let out a tired sigh, not wanting watched what's gonna happen as he layed on the floor. He knew this, both and Usopp does. This memory would obviously show that death-like experience they have face.
Usopp gulp before turning the wheel to the right, their boat entering a door like pannel and the scene turned into a dim light, though the features of the three was still visible and could be easily identified.
"Where are they going?" A random marine asked, and Sanji just click his tongue.
Usopp was just staring at the mirror blankly, but it was clear in his face that he doesn't really want to watched what's right in front of everyone.
Luffy grinned, his hand placed above his eyes as he tried to look around.
"The place is so dark." Thatch commented.
Sanji smirked seeing that Usopp ain't looking at their direction. "Oi, oi! Don't close your eyes now, chauffeur!"
"Even if he opened his eyes, he won't be able to see anything yoi."
"But how come we could see them just fine?" Haruta wondered, staring at the three figures which they could clearly pin-point and identify.
Marco shrugged his shoulder, "Don't asked me yoi. I know nothing about it."
Hearing Sanji, Usopp slowly opened his eyes. "Wahhh!" He cried out softly, "It's still dark with them open!" He complained.
Suddenly, Luffy decided to say something.
"Ah, hey. You know what this reminds me of?" He asked, causing the two to turned to him.
"This won't end good." Ace immediately said, already used to Luffy's miraculous talent to gather death-lile situation and his admirable devil's luck to survive all of those.
"Don't be negative." Izo said.
Sabo just smiled, not saying anything. However, Ace could see how nervous that smile is.
"W-What?" Usopp asked curiously, though it was obvious that he's still scared at the sight of darkness.
"He shouldn't have asked.", Sabo whispered with a stiff smile, forgetting that even the slightest noise in the pandemonium could be heard, in which his voice immediately traveled and reached Usopp, who glared at him with regretful eyes.
"Don't remind me!" Usopp said, covering his eyes, fearing of what's to come. Memory or not, this experience and memory was traumatizing enough. He have felt like his life passed by his very own eyes that time.
"That's it. This is torture." Sanji dramatically muttered in defeat.

Checkpoint
as an anomaly sweeps the world, many gain strange abilities. as for Mal, the power makes it so they cannot die, or more accurately, they get sent back in time to the last place they were safe at. A power that seems like a blessing until you’re crushed under rubble, drowned in sewage, shot, stabbed, all while having the royalties to feel all the pain from such fates. And to put the icing on the cake, a strange message appeared before everyone’s eyes stating that unless someone breaks down the gate within 17 years, everyone will die”. now Mal needs to find a way to “break down the gate” (whatever the hell that means) or they will be forced to die and revive, only to die again for the rest of time. Which would suck, probably. /————————————————— this is technically a time loop novel. the MC is chaotic neutral with a worryingly lack of care about how their actions affect people. i want to interact with my readers so give critique and suggestions. I will sometimes host polls for the personality for new characters, story decisions, and the ability to cancel annoying characters, besides Mal, if they get enough complaints. I am also impatient and will end decision polls when I want to write more. If no one votes, I choose, so don’t let that happen. if you’re want world building check out hitchhikers guide to checkpoint (an encyclopedia of what I made up with lots more explanation)

Zeroth Knight re: Dawn
Isekai, fantasy, with the core themes of Identity and Fate. Story contains a, mostly, lesbian cast. Updated twice a day. Evangeline Sayagawa makes the ultimate choice at the cost of the ultimate sacrifice: She decides to leave her world that she fought so hard to return to, and return to Arsea in hopes of saving everyone. Little was she aware of just how bad things had gotten. The world she was returning to was cast into chaos and on the precipice of being destroyed. She awakens in this new kind of Arsea, after having witness the end of a dear friend. The world now belonged to the monstrosities of old, the Beta, and their corrupted human warriors, the Eld. With her fake identity, that which defined her in this world, being stripped from her, she now has to navigate a darkness in which not even the women she loves recognize her. This is book 2 of the Evangeline Sayagawa "Zeroth Knight" story, with book 1 being found here. The first "chapter" posted here is a hyper-condensed version of volume/book 1, in case anyone needs a generalized refresher of events, or for those who wish to start with this book instead as it is faster paced and more action-packed than the first one. Suffice to say, but most of the details from book 1 are lost by doing this; however, enough of the more-important information is present to allow one to understand the general idea of what is going on. This book features a mostly lesbian cast and deals more so with fate and crises of identity more than anything else. However, there is much more action in this one than any of my other stories thus far and brings about the end of Evangeline Sayagawa's story arch... sort of. I have another story up, a short story drama with light yuri and supernatural themes: "Escape The KNIGHT" Share the story if you think it's good. And please rate some stars and leave reviews guys. It will help encourage other people to take a chance with the story and get to know this wonderful journey with us. Also, a friend has made a Discord for the "Zeroth Universe" if anyone wants to join and hang out to talk about the stories, theories, or just general fun chats with us! https://discord.gg/f3Bc4TR Follow me on Twitter @Ozefen0 to stay up to date on my stories and what have you.
